Danke fur ihre prima video! I had to do the same repair to our Saeco Magic, and I did not know how to calibrate the position of the grind selector lever and the burr ring. Your video was EXTREMELY DETAILED and well worth my time to watch this! (Most UA-cam "instruction" videos are a waste of time created by people that do not really know what they are doing. You are obviously a person who learns everything they can about everything they attempt to repair! Well done!
This video and your other Saeco tutorials were excellent. My 10 yr old Magic Deluxe stopped working. I took the grinding mechanism apart entirely with your videos. Not that hard. The amount of caked coffee was tremendous. Everything was clogged up. I cleaned with brushes, tie straps, an ice pick, and a vacuum cleaner. I took out 4 oz of old soggy coffee grounds. Now it works like a charm and no screws were left over! One suggestion: I took a photo of the exact position of the grind adjustment wheel before I turned it to the position where it could be removed, so I could reassemble it at the exact same spot. I think that is critical to allow future grind adjustment range. My only unresolved issue was how to clean the coffee stains off of the plastic bean holder. I tried CLR and soap,but perhaps I needed to soak it for a few hours.

CBZOE - Regarding your question about the descaling light -- After you descale you need to hold down steam selection button (lower right on a magic deluxe) for five (5) seconds to turn off the descale indicator. The machine does not automatically know that you have descaled it. (Same as the oil replacement light in your car.)
Wenn sofort nach dem Einschalten steht "Kaffeebehälter leer" und nur die Heißwasser Taste leuchtet, einfach 4 Sekunden auf die Kaffee Taste drücken (Betrifft Modell Royal Office). Hallo, so wie ich es aus der Ferne sehe, hattest Du mit Deiner Vermutung, Druckpumpe wohl recht. Es könnte sein, dass sie bei Belastung nicht mehr den nötigen Druck erreicht. Messen ist wohl sehr schwierig, ich persönlich würde schauen, ob ich irgendwo aus einer anderen Maschine ein passende Pumpe finde und sie mal auf Versuch tauschen. Viele Grüße, Jürgen

Hello, I am having a problem and I cannot figure out how to fix it. My Comfort Plus says „Fill Water Tank“, but the tank is full. Hi! Thanks for this video. I would like to ask you about my Vienna, I have an error when I just turn on it. I completed different tests and it seems it works separately, I could check every step, but when I go out from the test mode and want to turn my Viena on I have a problem and I cann't use it. When I turn it on, it starts when the movements that are suppose to complete at the beginning and it stops immediately. It starts to light the second green and the red error lights. I repleaced the o-rings and it still not working. If you have any suggestion I will be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

Hi Jürgen! Thanks for your video. I've got a problem with my Saeco Vienna Deluxe - no coffee is going out. I checked a water supply(steam) - it works. Grinder is grinding a coffee, it works. I cleaned the whole brewing unit, visually checked all pipes and connectors. The problem I recognized: it grinds coffee beans, then brings grinded coffee to the dosage compartment, but dosage shutter doesn't open and doesn't dump the coffee into the brewing unit, and alarm light comes on at the same time. What am I supposed to do? Thanks!

Hallo! Mein Bruder hatte eine neue Saeco gekauft und Ich habe jetzt seine Magic Plus machine. Er hatte es vor 7 Monate repariert und gereinigt. Wir sind im USA. Er hatte ein neue machine gekauft weil dieses hatte Probleme mit das Wasser. Ich habe jetzt 4 Tasse Kaffee gemacht und kein Wasser Probleme. Aber er sagt das Wasser läuft raus an der Seite. Er vermutet von the water container to the machine ist nicht dicht. Kannst du mir Idee geben was verkehrt ist? Christel
Hallo Christel. der Wasserverlust kann auf dem gesamten Weg des Wasser passieren. Das geht beim Behälter los, alle Schläuche, das Flowmeter oder auch die Pumpe können undicht sein. Man muss die Maschine öffnen und schauen, an welcher Stelle das Wasser ausläuft. Dann kann man den Aufwand für eine Reparatur abschätzen. Viele Grüße, Jürgen
