And yah.from 6 years no hit?. 2015dilwale Collection was 418 cr. Qnd yqh. 6 years means 2014 also. Happy new year had bumper opening pf 44crs. Qnd yqh raees was hit. And theres no meaning of counting 2019 and 2020. He took q break these two years.

If he truly didn't think about his image he would have done Slumdog Millionaire, and it would have been his biggest film by far. Would also have broken him into Hollywood, just look at Dev Patel now.
That is true. But what is also true is that he is a bigger star than most well established hollywood stars, let alone Dev Patel. SRK doesnt need Hollywood. Hollywood needs SRK. Had he wanted to break into Hollywood, he would have done so years ago.
Aanif Raza true but also shouldn't have turned down 3 Idiots, Munna Bhai and Lagaan. He has made big mistakes too
Not mistakes really; because A.) he was preoccupied already and the films he did instead were very pivotal in his career - My Name Is Khan (his best performance) over 3 idiots, Kal Ho Naa Ho (one of his best films) over MunnaBhai, and undeniably Sanjay Dutt was perfect for it; and K3G instead of Lagaan, may not be as great a film but it made him the megastar he is especially in the overseas.
B.) many of his biggest hits and best films were originally offered to other actors - Baazigar and Darr were offered to 5/6 actors like Salman, Aamir, Ajay before him (yet he took the risk and portrayed the anti-hero amazingly); DDLJ to Saif Ali Khan (arguably the most iconic bollywood film + thank god he did it), Swades to Hrithik (one of his best movies/roles) and Chak De India to Salman (can you imagine lol). So at the end of the day you win some and you lose some, everything happens for a reason.
