19-year-old Italian Andrea Principi triumphed at the prestigious Red Bull King of the Air competition in Cape Town.
Principi set a historic first by scoring three 9s from the judges for his exceptional tricks in the final.

His victory in Cape Town, along with his earlier win at the Red Bull Megaloop in the Netherlands, solidified his status as a leading figure in Big Air kiteboarding.
The final featured a thrilling contest between Principi and his friends/training partners, Lorenzo Casati of Italy and Jeremy Burlando of Spain.
Lorenzo Casati, the runner-up, earned acclaim for his double kite loop, double-board off.
The Red Bull King of the Air was known for pushing the limits of kiteboarding, emphasizing amplitude, variety, execution, and difficulty in judging criteria.
