RIP Audrey Witherspoon, you touched more peoples lives than I'm sure you could ever imagine through your humility, humanity, art and music. See you on the other side I hope, as I'm sure everyone who came in to contact with you does x
Well i never met Andy but i can tell from this and other tales that he did indeed have a genuine passion. I wish that we could have had a proper natter and maybe shared the decks sometime ~ alas too late now.
@@hplovehandle For the last few years going to nights at Cafe Oto, a friend and I have a sweep stake about how many berets we will see. The most was 5 in one night.
@@chriszanf If you went to 100 Club in 1977 would you be counting safety pins? Your archness is far more tedious than their choice of chapeau. Berets look cool, so fucking wear one if you fancy.
Rip Andrew Weatherall. You can hear his passion for music, the way he articulates it to you.
Indeed, absolutely loves it. I tell my kids to open yourself to every genre.
Has anyone got a copy of this interview without half the audio missing? Fucking UA-cam.

I still think his best work ever is as Two Lone Swordsmen, followed by Sabres of Paradise.
Do you now...
@@loontil strange reply?I personally thought his sabres of paradise work was amazing.
there's no sound from about the 1 min mark why is that?
comes back around 01:49
Copyright strike, presumably.
This guy looks younger with the beard!
Sounds like a very deep, yet in no way pretentious, individual.
I love him.
Hey Phil can you sync the sound to this video....
You had one job
R.I.P KING OF THE REMIXERS 🔥👑🕊
The Don. is was there ever anything better than going to see Andy Weatherall play somewhere.
Hardly anyone, he was the DJ's DJ. You'd be in the crowd and you knew when he came on . Only one who touches him is Tanaglia
Anyone know the tune at the end?

...Fail we may, sail we must....😔
Man, the way UA-cam suddenly won’t let anyone have music in their videos anymore... fucking lame.
Love AW, rest in rhythm, brother
I bet that most London hipsters will all be wearing black berets, wearing red jumpers and shaving their beards off in a few months.
I doubt it. Mr Weatherall has always marched to his own beat.
Wow. A photo of someone else wearing a beret. So,only one person to wear a beret at any one time?
