I never really had an allowance. As a kid, I would just ask randomly every once and a while if I could get something. I would usually expect a no, but on the off chance my mom would say yes then yeah I would obviously value what she would let me get.
Quick edit: Also yeah once my dad randomly surprised me and the sibs with the Nintendo Wii. I don't remember asking for the Wii constantly as a kid but believe me when I say I was insanely excited and treasured that thing for years. Till it just one day decided to not spit out my Mario party 9 game and break completely, massive L.
That’s facts my mom did the same thing
same

well I never asked for money it’s just when I asked they always said no but grandma always had my back she’d give me like 5 bucks and I would spend it on candy
I’ve never had an allowance. The only money I get is from like distant family members on holidays.
I’ve only ever gotten 50 dollars from my bro on eid. Only FREE money I ever got
same
Same I sometimes get money for doing yard work
I only got some from my birthday or my job-
Fr parents who give kids allowance spoil them and then they dont know how to earn money when they get older
Watching a Joe video while eating frosted flakes at 7:30 in the morning is the greatest W ever!
i love frosted flakes
Very specific
Apple Jacks are better.
John 15:18 “if the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first”💕✝️
Love this verse
Amen, glory to god
Always the funniest streams ever keep it up man
I remember getting like a whole bag of snickers when I was at target. That was more than enough to make me happy as a kid, and it still does 🤣
As a kid my mom would give me and my brother a weekly allowance, along with a chores list we needed to complete. Then she had us distribute our allowance between 4 envelopes- savings, investment, gift/charity, and spending. And if we wanted a raise in allowance we would need to make a presentation and add more chores, basically convince them it’s worth the raise. I believe the highest we got was up to $12 before I was 16 and got my own job. I really appreciate how she handled this, from childhood I understood the important of budgeting and taking my money and putting into savings, investing, and setting aside money for gifts and charity.
Bruh when I was younger I had to clean the whole house and I never got allowance, my mom was using me all this time...
Joe helps me fall asleep, He gives me so much comfort. 💜
sounds sus

If I were rich, i'd get what my kid wants, but with limitation, theyd have to prove that they deserves it, and I'd try to teach them humility, like the stereotype is that rich people are jerks that see people that aren't in the same financial range as them as less than human, I'd try to steer my kid away from that, my cousin owns a casino so he's pretty wealthy, he's a nice person who helps out local schools and our tribe and family, I'd want my kid to be like him, some people would want to spoil their kids so they could have what they never could as a kid, I get that, but don't let your kids turn out to be horrible people.
This is funny to watch. I grew up with no allowance and not been able to even buy new things some times. I remember one time getting $20 for going on a trip and got so excited even though a lot of people would think that isn’t much
Same! I had to live off holiday/birthday money. Not to mention my parents weren’t the most rich people so it was even worse.
I now feel bad for taking other peoples money if I need something bc of my past.
Bro described my neighborhood perfectly 💀 8:24
An allowance is a sum of money that you WORK for. What Nicolette gets each month is NOT an allowance but rather a TREAT that she's taking for granted.
Joe never fails to turn a 3 minute video into a 15 minute rant😂😂😂😂
When my parents buy me something expensive I always feel regret and feel bad for em
3:49 me neither bro and im a minor, im actually happy like this ngl, my parents raised me the right way becus i never felt rich ofc but i've never felt in a need of something, seeing people my age just being raised the wrong way and turning out spoiled or bratty is just sad cus then they wont understand the value of money and things until they learn it the hard way, shout out to my parents for being absulotely amazing love them :)
Spoiled people+ the doctor= comedy
Joe giving me parenting tips 🗿💀
People:money can’t buy happiness
Me:DOG
Joe truly is a W human being
One of the most honest people on the internet
If that was my daughter I would tell doctor Phil send her to the RANCH!
My allowance is 10 dollars this girl: you broke ahh
We can’t keep defending you Joe😭😭
I’ve never had an allowance and my classmates always talk about how much money they get 💀
6:30 “I used my moms credit card to by COC gems… and all I upgraded was 2 teslas” lol
4:19 I was waiting for when he was gonna raise his voice lol
20 dollars for 2 teslas bro wth
Its never too late for adoption
She gets paid 5000 grand a month.I have to ask my mom for a coke can😂😂
I work for my neighbor and its my first job, and we do landscaping. Moving really heavy rocks, shoveling dirt all day, getting dirty and sweaty, and at the end of the day I would get paid and feel so happy. You need a job lady!
Once a smart man said that if you start life at 200mph (rich and spoiled) you will never have true happiness, that to have true happiness you start at 0mph (broke af) and then start to accelerate rate and get to 200mph.
I’m guessing the divorce from daddy paid for all that, neither one of these women seem to understand money enough to have actually made enough to support this lifestyle. The top richest women in the world unanimously got that way from marrying and subsequently divorcing an obscenely rich man.
it’s kids like this that make me happy that i grew up without a ton of money
SHE ENDED UP GETTING A G WAGON, CRASHED IT AND THEN GOT ANOTHER ONE 😭😭 smh
I mean My dad spoiled me but I never even asked for money that much I get money because my parents just give it it to me because they are good parents. But if your parents are spoiling you do not take it for granted so I feel like it is kind of the mothers fault for giving her stuff and spoiling her that much at the point where she gets too comfortable that she feels like its normal and than she eventually took it for granted.
never had a allowance growing up, I grew up in the ghetto suburbs of Stockholm (also known as the million programme aka our versions of the council estates in London but way larger) and was POOR, the most luxurious dinner I used to get was a happy meal.. but id rather me growing up that way because now I can value what I have now, Alhamdulillah
After joe said he bought clash gems that reminded me one time i took my moms credit card and bought 50 dollars worth of gems on a mobile game and got the biggest ass whooping in history
5:26 best part
i though you were bouta turn into packgod with that outro music
bro’s asking her mom to pay her rent
I was geniunely surprised I learned some people give their kids allowances. I did have savings but I wasn't allowed to spend them on video games until the age of 12-13 (beside like $5 worth of robux every 3-4 months)
Ngl, Joe's gonna be a great parent.
I love how i never get ads while watching joe.
My allowance was being allowed to sleep in my room lol
Aight be honest everyone’s moms have guilt trip you at least 4 times
Can’t blame him for them gems
I love how joe barely even watched the video itself-
Honestly, I damn well know I'm a little spoiled and that I have it good compared to others, but I can't even imagine of acting that spoiled and entitled. Plus imo, much like what Joe said, it feels way more fulfilling to make your own money and buy something than to just gain it from someone.
i guilt trip as a joke like i say to my freinds "oh... i get it, you hate mw now" all of them know its a joke and its a fun joke
Dr phill sounds like mr mackey 😂
Umm, when I turned 13, the coolest thing that happened was being able to ride in the front seat of the car. I was so happy lol.
9:11 best part heh!
just 5:05 thats me to every one of my siblings in my family but that isnt much
If I were her, I’d take the charger from her stuff and so i watch as she fears that her stuff is about to die
7:52 sofreepotato in chat, when i was ten I was at a apartment pool with my mom at night after my parents fought, and my dad got so mad about it he walked to the pool and yelled at my mom then told me that "We never wanted you, you were an accident and I wish we never had you." then walked away, its been a few years and it still sticks in my mind.
''see that bothers me'' i want that in an action movie i dont what scenario it would best fit but just imagining ''see that bothers me'' before beating you up
I literally get paid 12 dollars a week for doing chores. I can’t believe this shit.
Joe just proved all my points and no I have never had an allowance and I am a happy person. I wish Joe was my friend right now honestly and I also thought that $2 was a lot of money and I would think I’m rich with $2.
I guilt trip me self into doing homework
i come from a very insanely fortunate family and I dont get allowance, ive been given everything growing up but I started to realise the value of money by myself when I started maturing. Internet rlly help me realise how much 30 or 50 dollars is
i didn't even know people had allowances. Special selected
kids with parents that have high-paying jobs.
I love the way you react to stuff love the content joe keep up the great work
As a kid under 15 if I had 2500 I’d put like 1000 in those stocks were theirs multiple companies in there than spend the rest for my room/root beer 💀
Pocket money we got as kids was like 10-20 bucks a week. I think it started around the age of 10ish. Grew up as a broken family so it wasnt consistent.
Bruh I feel bad when my parents bye me expensive stuff
The fact she knew she was being super spoiled and bratty, is awful, I’m just disappointed
She crying about $1000 saying it's too little of an amount when I'm over here jumpin up and down with $100 knowing I'm going to spend it all on hot wheel
When I was a kid I thought $100 could buy you a house lol
joe i swear every time i watch a video in my joe bart playlist you talk about your coc
Cooking is a basic life skill
People have to learn that the world is not a safe or nice place
it feels so much better if you earn it and save up for it like i just bought my first gaming pc and i saved up for like 2 months and i finally bought it and i cant wait till it gets here and it just feels alot better because i earn it myself
Joe, I know a co worker at a former job who was so spoiled he always had the latest greatest cell phone. His father spent $5,000 on new cell phones for him in just three years. He drove an almost new BMW M3 and crashed it. His father bought him an M5! He crashed that too! So he got a Harley Davidson with everything on it (I estimate it at $40-50K). He had an accident and had to get stitches in his skull. Ouch. Makes me wonder why he was working for barely above minimum wage at a store...
2:43 OF
If I’d be really rich and I’d want my kid to learn that they can’t always get everything they want, I’d tell them: You want a Nerf gun? Well then do this and this and you’ll earn it.” Or just say no
So they also can learn the feeling when you earn something ❤️
My family has a tradition where we will buy the newest kid with a license a broken car that cannot run and give them a budget that can only buy enough that it could legally drive and they have to fix it by themselves but they will often not have a radio, back seats or even air conditioning and once it can drive they will have to get a job so they can fully repair it and they can do it however they want but this generation doesn’t get as bad of cars like me I have a Lexus ES300 that won’t star because something is draining the battery I suspect a mouse chewed a wire in two since I found multiple nest in the vents while cleaning it out so once I fix the battery I’ll just have to replace the front two tires, the radio, the two front seats tack weld the exhaust pipe back up since it’s hanging low and the front right door handle then I’ll deem it ready for the road
I had an allowance but it was to buy food at school, I got like 5 bucks to buy food and I would get the driest chicken burger everyday 😂😂
$1,000 a month and she still can't even afford to look pretty😂
Wdym afford to look pretty, are you saying all women need to pay to look pretty
@@RagingBacon11 no
@@RagingBacon11 I meant like since a lot of women think they need to use makeup to make themselves look pretty
Me being bullied in my high school for being like maybe low end of upper middle class-
3:52 no
His mom watching this video
WHAT DID YOU SPEND MY MONEY ON JOE
I appreciate my parents so much. they have enough money to buy me a bunch of stuff, but they want me to learn and know the value of money. ive asked for things, and the thng im grateful for them. is saying no, i used to think they were super mean and rude wehn i was younger. but im glad they said no because i wouldnt know or appreciate the value of money. thank you mom and dad
6:40 You are a monster😳
That’s the same thing my mom raised me every time I wanted a toy she would say no but like for my birthday or something she would probably buy me that toy
I do feel bad for these rich kids because they are of no benefit to society, they leech off their parents for as long as possible, God forbid they use their parents' money for an education; they need to blow money on frivolous crap _just 'cause_
Bro I wish I got an allowance 💀
Jess the girl complaining about her 1000-dollar allowance a good parent gives them 50 dollars a month and makes them invest or save 40$ for college
7:34 wtf joe
My kids qualified for an academic scholarship which pays them quarterly. They save up for goals of things they'd like after discussing with us the usefulness of the purchase. Also a small porción of the funds they get as spending cash. But the main focus is saving towards a goal.
1. They needed a laptop for school, we could purchase one so they saved up so each could get one.
2. They wantes to get an Xbox and be able to game in 4K, so they saved up and it was kinda a 50/50 deal between them and I. (I got the loosing end cause I rarely have time to game) but I did grant the game pass as long as they keep up with their school work.
I never had an allowance and dont even have one now. And its rare when i get money for cleaning the entire house up with my siblings.
I've never had an allowance. My parents make me earn things
6:33 dw you aren’t the only one secretly using, so basically in 2019 or 2020, I used my Mom credit card to by robux and I wasted about 60 dollars 💀
The thing is that I value money way 2 low so in never want to buy anything
My "allowance" consisted of a 20 on Christmas.
Idc what type of car I get if it gets me to point A to point B that’s all that matters
I had an allowance of £6 a week but I did chores like cleaning me room and more
It the family partial fault
i get 5 dollars per month and whenever i get the money, im happy asf
if I hd an allowance of 1000 dollars id put it in a checking account and save it until I need it like for a house or a car or something significant like that
I didn't get any money when I was a kid except the change I found and rocks I sold.... Then I seen my Pokemon and yugioh when Im 19 or 20 and get around $3000 in total, which is the most I've ever had at once
