He deserves it, he's gone through hard times, especially without the permission to play his own songs. Now he can do that in the best possible way - with his family/children. I'm happy for him.
Summer 2020 with The Fogerty's!
Seen him sing summer 2019 @Tresureisland Minnesota. It was hot and he was great 👍 ZZ. Top didn’t cut it after his set. Drove 12 hours from Canada 🇨🇦 to see him and glad we did ❤️👍

Once called (by Springsteen) , the Hank Williams of rock n roll . The impact of this man , his brother , his band will be felt as long as music fans exist . So much to discover , I’ve been listening to Joy of My Life for ten years , now Chris Stapleton covers it , everybody going crazy over it . John has and continues in many ways to blaze a beautiful country rock trail , I continue to follow .

I was born in 1953 and learned to play the guitar at a young age. In the 70s I played a lot of CCR songs with my band. John kept inspiring me with his hits. My greatest wish to see CCR live never came true. But in July 2009 John came to southern Germany with his backing band. It was an indescribable evening in Emmendingen, near the Black Forest, when I was about 20 feet in front of John and the stage.
@John, I thank you with all my heart for this performance and your great music.
Maybe you will come back onetimes to our area in southern Germany. That would please a lot of people.
Still my favorite all time musician/singer.

It would be hard to find a more upbeat, positive great sounding song then this! I just love listening to John’s songs over and over, then I learn how to play em. I’m so impressed with his kids who obviously respect and understand what a legend he is. Great kids that embraces their fathers talent and have learned how to join him musically. BTW- If you’re a fan you buy John’s book “Fortunate Son”. It’s a great read!
