- After my time playing Bully I listened to each student and tried guess their age and their grade year. Took a bit, so I hope you enjoy it anyways. This is my guess alrighty? Hope ya like it!
A common error everyone seems to have is that Prefects are adults. This is false, Prefects are senior students who are given a special authority title in schools, normally up north in the United States and the United Kingdom. They act as security guards, often patrolling the school grounds. You can look it up.
And yes, I'm aware that they look straight up 40, but generally let's be honest. What's more terrifying to run away from? A skinny normal sized senior student? Or a tall built and deep voiced security guard in a suit?
They look like that so Prefects look more scary for the gameplay. My dad knew prefects since he went to school in New York.
Reminder, not all schools have one, a select few do though.

@@SwampFox178 Honestly I played for a few months but I constantly remember dialouge being passed around. Like some Jocks actually mention Max but no other Prefect. So perhaps Max might have been working with Ted like Damon is now. To be honest I hate how Ted was literally in like 3 cutscenes.

Honestly, it is kind of hard to believe that Lola is only 17, given the fact that she looks like she's in her early to mid 20s. But, then again, I guess you should never underestimate the power of development of the human body

Now it's a common misconception, but Prefects in Schools up north in the United States are students, not adults. The Maximum age to be in high school is 20. Prefects are Senior class students that act as security guards around school and guidence to Juniors looking to be Prefects. They have authority to send kids back to class and detention but no more than that. Bully does make them look older then they should be, but what looks more terrifying? An average looking kid with a suit? Or a grown ass man running full speed after you? Lmao, I hope I made it more understandable, let me know if you are still confused.
I believe Russell is at least 20 since he's probably failed a few grades due to his mental age and whatnot.

@@artafeu That seems to be only a northern school thing because southern schools hire actual security guards to patrol the building and monitor the security cameras

Leon is actually 17 he even says it in the game that he’s still a juvenile.
Now that took me some time to process, but I realized that the man wears Asylum robes. Meaning he is really crazy that he had to be sent there. He may be older than he thinks. In the US to be in an asylum you have to be an adult, you need a parent's consent if your under 18. I find it unlikely the man talked to his parents to be honest.

@@incredibleunknown2686 I know it's bizarre, but I think they were made that way to look more intimidating. Max mentions taking Growth Hormones, and the Jocks sometimes mention Max. So Max was likely a Jock before becoming a Prefect.

For the Main characters, if you’re an american
Jimmy is aged 15, which means he is either a Freshman or a Sophmore.
Pete is 13 or 14, meaning he would be in jr high or a freshman
Gary is 17, meaning that he would either be a junior or senior.
