OTIS can still be the king of lifts when they want to, look at that efficiency! So much hydroware everywhere now I find they are getting boring already. Unusual to see a white ecodisc, love how the clunk is very audible thanks to the open shaft. Qube scenic lift is a modded Oakland for sure.
I used to ride the lifts at the Metro Centre in Gateshead. I still have my childhood memories of lifts at Metroland, Yellow Mall, Central Mall, and Blue Mall in Metro Centre from 2007. Now, the lift at blue car park with floors G, 3, 4 & 5, lift modernisation! At yellow car park with 2 set of lifts, the 5th floor has no call button! 😂😂 At New Look, there's an Ace Lift that I've been inside to ride before, it was great fun to ride. At Coach Station, all Thyssen Lifts from 2004 has been modernised by 2022 Kone Eco-Disc Lifts. Thanks for viewing my memories and full lift tour. 😊
Shame how almost all of the Furse lifts are gone, even the service lifts are getting replaced by Kone There is 1 original Furse lift which is semi-outdoor. If you go down to 1 in the set of 2 HydroWare Schindlers and out the doors towards red mall car park, take a left and it's just there. Fully original!
@@TheUKTransportCollection It is a goods lift but it doesn't say to not use it, it's gated but unlocked. There is lots of other service lifts but this is the most accessible one. I only know of 2 original goods lifts

Can I ask a question
Ask it on my Q&A video
Ok
Shame how almost all of the Furse lifts are gone, even the service lifts are getting replaced by Kone

Dam i walked round the outside to red aswell. Another lift to find
Is M&S filmed, couldn’t find it?
No and can't even find any footage of their lift. Another for the next visit to find!
No lift in M&S, the one just outside M&S is at 18:02
@@neliftsandtransport So only the Furse you mentioned is all I missed?
@@TheUKTransportCollection It is a goods lift but it doesn't say to not use it, it's gated but unlocked.
There is lots of other service lifts but this is the most accessible one. I only know of 2 original goods lifts
@@neliftsandtransport Ah it's for goods. My focus was the public lifts. May have a look at that Furse if I return.
Did you do the MetroOasis?
If it's not in the video no.
@@TheUKTransportCollectionOK, I sometimes come to the MetroCentre and go to MetroOasis because there are more lifts at MetroOasis!
