    Hey Brandon love the video! I would love it if you could do a design incorporating a realistic woman, but fantasy style. Like a vampire. Since for my style I want to mix realism with neo traditional. And also brught vibrant colors and black and grey. I hope you can help me.

    I think this technique is very useful to understand even though I don’t have any experience with using a tablet or computer for drawing. I think I’m just old enough and have never enjoyed video games, I would waste my time trying to learn how to use a program like that lol. But still, very helpful info ❤

    I've been working on art for a portfolio, and I've been taking reference photos, clipping them and pasting them to get the general design, then basically tracing over the core objects. I feel like a fraud though and like I'm not really drawing. Mainly people and plants. Is this a normal/acceptable thing to do?? I know tattoo artists definitely do it but I guess I'm nervous I'm not being a 'real' artist

    thanks for sharing, what's the size of canvas that you usually choose to work on?? is it always A4, or you choose sizes depending on the real measures of the body part going to be tattooed?? i actually work on a samsung tablet, and use ibis paint for my work and i use A4 as the default size of my canvas, but this question always bothers me.

    Hey Brandon, another great video! I am having trouble when I make a stencil on procreate that I wind up with the wrong size lines to tattoo. In other words, my drawn lines and tattoo needle sized don't seem to match up. I did try to find information on the Digi Pen steady that you showed in this video. Any suggestions on my line/needle issues? Thanks, poppy

    • @Tattooing101
      @Tattooing101  2 роки тому

      The best advice I have is it’s better to go thinner than to thick if the lines are thinner on your stencil you would still be able to fallow the stencil. And there are also brushes that are exactly for the size needles like 7rl 11rl. That might help.

    • @PoppyC62
      @PoppyC62 2 роки тому

      @@Tattooing101 I appreciate that advice but my issue is that when drawing a stencil design on procreate and then printing it, the line sizes never seem to be the correct size that I planned to tattoo. I need help figuring out what line width is equivalent to what needle size.

    • @musahawkins8765
      @musahawkins8765 2 роки тому

      Poppy he's telling you there are bright sets with the size pens matching needle sizes 3rl 5rl ect also that it is better to do thinner lineweight on the stencil than to do thicker if you have a thick line but you are tattooing with a small needle it could affect lines matching up the correct way

    You have more options in procreate then I do! I just got the program yesterday and no matter how much I click on the layer it doesn’t pop up the same menu for opacity like yours. Also how do you get the line type? I only have basic ones like pen paint and sketch
