Love hearing about your decks and tarot beginnings and journey. I chopped the borders off The Druid Craft and it’s one deck that I wish I left them on 😂 Seeing you go through the deck the white borders really encapsulate the art. The Goddess Tarot is beautiful! I don’t have that one yet.
Ooh, that's a good perspective to note! I've thought about buying an already chopped copy just because I'm so curious but so sentimental with mine. 💗 Thanks for watching ☺️
I'm delighted that you came up with a hashtag for this! It's truly so cool to look at where we started vs. where we're at now, years later! Love your comment at 21:35 where you mentioned your first decks being very study-focused and some current decks being just for fun and seeing what comes up. I feel guilty about not being able to read well or study well with every deck I've got, so that's a nice reminder not to put such high/rigid expectations on my connection with each deck.
It has definitely taken me some time to warm up to that idea. While I LOVE the act of studying, I often don't have the bandwidth to do intense, drawn-out studies, and when I do with my Tarot practice, I almost always end up hating the deck because it feels forced (e.g. Wildwood!). While there is value in those deep dives, there's also value in being gentle with ourselves and trusting that the decks will call to us when they are ready. A couple more people have responded. I added yours to the playlist of course!!! 🙂 Thanks for watching 💖💖💖
it's soo interesting how each of the decks you show and talk about all entered your life at a specific time and for a specific purpose, synchronicity is the best! 😄
@theimportanceoftemperance I totally agree! My Tarot practice is synced up really nicely with my everyday life to where I would have a difficult time managing one without the other. 🥹 I love your UA-cam name! Temperance is my favorite card!
What an interesting video! The explanations you gave about the why's are really insightful for me. I love this subject very much and have a couple of the same decks too😍 Thanks and I'm looking forward to your next video💖
Thank you so much! 💖🥰 This is my favorite series. I love thinking of my practice as something alive that grows and shifts over time. Thanks for watching!!
@@MoonflowerMoments exactly, that's what it is. An growing and evolving mechanism/living force and so on, that will keep inspiring and giving food for thought. You're doing great at it! Love it! Thans again! 💖👌🏻
Cool tag. A great way to gage how your practice has evolved. The Goddess tarot was one of my first five as well, though I don't have it anymore. I may do a video as well. Loved hearing about how simple it is for you to tie tarot and nature. Both things I am passionate about but struggle to connect. I've started getting plant/herbal decks. That first deck is going on my wish list. As is the Wild Radiants.
I would love to see your response! I spend quite a lot of time outside using my cards to pull lessons from the natural elements surrounding me and then journaling about those messages. I find that is the best way for me to connect with nature through my Tarot practice. 💖 Terra's guidebook is such a jewel! I am happy to hear it is joining your wishlist as well as Wild Radiants! They're both so cherished by me.
You can chop those chonky borders off Druid Craft, I believe in you 😘 It looks good edged in green too. I practiced on Wildwood first (it wasn’t great lol).
I have the druidcraft twice. One with borders and selfmade words in English at the bottom and Dutch on top (my native language), according to the Lisa Papez method. And one whee I cut of all the white edges. It makes it so much more beautiful, don't you think?💖
I feel practicing on WW is a good choice. I'm much less bonded to that deck than my Druidcraft. 🤣 Thanks for the vote of confidence! Maybe if I muster the courage I can do it 😝
@@MoonflowerMoments I really recommend the video on deck trimming on Dawn Michelle 's YT channel. It's a video from a while ago, she has several, but she has one dedicated to her process step by step and which tools she uses and how she uses them.
Beautiful video - i love hearing about how your practice has grown and shifted over time 💕
Thank you so much 🥹 Thanks for watching!!!
I love this idea, it’s so interesting to see the journey we’ve been on with the cards. I’m going to make a note to film a vr 🥰♥️

@polly6341, I truly think the artwork was MADE to be without borders. What did you use to cut it?

@khan7459 thank you!!! I forgot she did that set!
You mentioned videos that does your creative process. Which ones would they be? I’d like to know more.
I have a video on my channel, but in short form, lesson planning (I'm a teacher), poetry, and video making!
I’m a teacher too. Cool. I’ll take a look.
