Wow, the transparency is awesome. The awareness of self, no matter how you got to it, is also pretty great.

B Morris thank you! The journey to self awareness is a treacherous one. Why didn’t anyone warn me. 😫

I love the candidness! Been following you on IG for some time and was excited when I saw you had a UA-cam Channel. Don’t ever stop with the content. Black men like me need to see representation of those that look like us. It’s extremely important!

Wow man, I'm catching up on your vids and this one hit hard. 2019 was the toughest year I've faced. I was in the hospital January 19,2019 through August 2,2019, I lost my son(21yo) suddenly on October 17, 2019. My 90 year old mother was diagnosed with alzheimer. I didn't share all that for sympathy, i just wanted you to know where I am mentally. I believe God led me to your channel to help me continue the healing process, and trying to love myself, pick up the pieces and develop a new and true life as i try to take care of my mother as God gives me strength.
Thank you for sharing, look forward to more vids from you.

I hope you will b ok, I'm a little worried that you gave up so much (your clothes, car, etc.), I am proud of you for sharing your story though. You have blossomed into a beautiful man inside & out, i could tell from the show you were a good person. I know on a show i think a cooking with JJ show you said your family was from Ghana? I was wondering how you dealt with that and being gay, because i can imagine that is something that is probably kept on the DL? I hope your family is ok with who you truly are. and i"m glad you are ok from your malaria, you gotta be careful traveling to so many countries, they have stuff there that you can pick up in the food & water, so please be careful & be aware and use bug protection. I have watched so many episodes of "monsters inside me" about people going to diff. countries and catching something and the doctors in the U.S. not knowing how to properly diagnose it. I admire your life of travel, i can't imagine doing what you do but you do it so effortlessly and so enthusiastically. And you add allot to the show, I hope your journey brings you the answers you seek, and i look forward to seeing and hearing what you have to say & LLove you too bb.

Elton, listen to me when I say…🗣YOU ARE WORTHY!! You are special, you are beautiful! You are basically a catalyst and a vessel for other young black men. I myself sort of share some of the same experiences that you had over . It was scary and eye-opening at the same time. It really showed me how toxic and broken I was on the inside even though I was wearing a smile and loving others on the outside. Transparency and vulnerability were things I struggled with for a very long time, ever since childhood. It has gotten so bad that it affected some of my most important relationships. And just like you, it took a major life event that broke me down to make me realize how jacked up and messed up I really was. God has a way of getting your attention and boy did he get mine! So I took it as a sign to really get myself together, because the way I was feeling about myself personally was hindering me from becoming the person I know God wants me to be. Keep doing your work and continue to spread your message. This journey will can only change you for the better, but for those who are in the same situation like you and for me. Thank you! Just know I am rooting for you and for all the broken little black boys who never got healed to find their joy and happiness again. ❤️🙌🏽

This is so real. Thank you for having the courage to be vulnerable and share the truth about yourself and your journey. You're not alone. Most of us go through this (and I'm sure there are some that don't but definitely need to). I've been following you for a few years and always have loved your work and your spirit and personality. Obviously I don't know you personally, but when you said your personality was fake I was like...really???.... but I get that it's parts of your personality that people who aren't close to you may not see. I love your energy, you're so vibrant and funny, and welcoming. I hope you know by now that being who you are is the best thing and people love you just for you. Keep it up. Also, I've been loving watching your time in Bali. It's a life I'd love to live. I plan to start a life on the road in the next year. :-) Blessings

Wow! You have no idea how much this means. As we all go on this journey back to self, I've learned that my vulnerability is a strength and your comment reminded me of that. Thank you for taking the time to not only watch but to leave such kind words.
