CM just did an interview with the guy who did the calligraphy for the films, give it a watch. ofc he had to imitate the style in the LoTR appendices rather than explore the calligraphic possibilities of the alphabet...

I love gold ink, but man it clogs up the tip quickly lol. I'm having to constantly clean it lol. But it looks amazing!
It means your gold ink is bac quality or old.
The first gold “ink” I used that regular acrylic paint with a thin paint brush. Try it, you’ll never go back to dipping in that old crap.

Beautiful to look at from a pattern perspective, but difficult to read, especially as the word disappears before the last letter is added.

Beautiful letterforms, but as so much in calligraphy depends on rhythm/pace, you do the learner a disservice by speeding up the execution of the letters. (I apologize if, in fact, you have not increased the speed in making the letters).
