The "bhaav shown" is correct but the message is wrong in this particular scene. For a women back then to go out in the middle of the night to meet a man alone was just a big "No". Even though we are implying he is Shiv himself. Mahadev would have told her to go back to her home. He did as well tell her to go home. So hence Sati would never do something like this knowing her father's rules of the kingdom. So the difference between her and Parvati. So again distorted....in trying to make a modern move with the audiences.
