this! i agree with u completely. rational and logical analysis n i dont think ur conclusion is very silly. i feel that our fanbase is one of the most emotionally reactive fanbases out there, but perhaps that's understandable considering how long we've been waiting for sorta a redemption era which we still haven't got. i figured smthn like this would happen after the transfer window. fans see decent names n expect us to be top of the board when the reality is we're still laying down the foundation. it's clear that there is a blueprint for our setup this season. that's as clear as day. we're just missing that piece where the players fall into their positions properly. that being said, results like these r difficult to accept because it feels like such a low hanging fruit. not trynna be disrespectful towards Twente, but that is a team that we must beat without question. unfortunately, as u said, this is a collective issue. our players r prly not playing the way Ten Hag wants them to play, however, Ten Hag's tactics might be too demanding for our players leaving a lot of bulletholes that other teams will take advantage of. what's certain to me is that we're still in the beginning phase. we need to find a slot where we experience that win streak through solid performances and tactics before we start moving on to the next phase. my concern is moreso what Ineos plan on doing next. i wouldnt be surprised if they chose to get rid of Ten Hag because they aren't convinced by what they see on paper. would it be the right time to get rid of him and implement a new coach? it's hard to say because the timing feels a bit awkward. however, im glad that ineos at the very least seem to have gathered a solid and competent team behind them to guide and make decisions on behalf of utd which means that if the decision is to sack Ten Hag then it was a collective choice made through thorough analysis.
@@someasiandude8645 Agreed. We have a very volatile fanbase, especially some of the youtubers. We were a great team once but there is no point in being nostalgic and comparing us at this time to the teams of the past. We are shit right now. We're barely mid table. Ten Hag doesn't help himself but the media and the fans need to get back off his back a little. It took fergie longer than this to get his team back to winning ways - and he didn't have to deal with the venomous media like ETH has to and these players have to. Our style of play seems much better this season. We are holding better possession, creating better chances and conceding lesser shots. We just need to SCORE MORE GOALS now.
exactly Aj the biggest problem in last night's game was a lack of intensity from our players. they should be forced to run more in training as a punishment 😡
i think once we simmer down we realise that there was potential yesterday but the midfield is still an ongoing issue. Tactically ten hag is to blame but we have to keep it moving. Ten hag needs to have a proper look at this and work this out
💯 agree about the intensity off the ball. Still not convinced on Dalot being higher than Eriksen in midfield. Also agree on the left side. We concede a lot of chances that side.
Very good presentation. Much better than fair-weather fan Mr Goldbridge who is all smiles when United win but is destructive and wants to beat the players up when United lose.
AJ the buck stops with the manager. The adjustments he made didn't help the players in any way. Although the players lacked intensity, an example should have been made by subbing one of them. He's causing his downfall.
Is it just me or Bruno keeps trying to play the ball over the top in a low block? How is that ever going to work. He needs to keep the ball on the ground 1-2 passes through the lines and that will break down defenders that’s on the edge of their box
It’s basic GK fundamentals to cover your near post. His positioning was so bad. Mazroui probably does enough to block the shit if the attacker decides to go across goal. Dress it up how you like it’s poor from him.
@@Rangounchaine he did cover it, the striker did him with open his body and looking at the far post, so onana moved his body to save it but the striker put it near post without looking.
The defenseive sequence leading to the equalizer was abysmal, oh my freaking goodness. How does erickson let the man run passed him like that, its comical
Didn't anyone notice that maguire was dropping the line too deep, and we weren't able to be front footed off the ball. We were not imposing off the ball
But then Ugarte rescued that. And got the ball to Eriksen in the same moment. Who then took too much time on the ball, leading to the really good scoring chance.
4 things: Bruno has to keep it simple... when you are in a new position, keep it simple... pass properly and press properly Secondly we need to swap full backs (mazraoui can play LB) or get shaw and malacia back; dalot operating from right would keep bruno in that left midfield role he is comfortable with. Thirdly we are a generally slow side... Twente looked faster and intense... I observed this also against Brighton and Liverpool... why are we so slow? The rule is be sharp to recover the ball then play at ur tempo.... Finally; Garnacho must always start b4 rashford; he is better at everything, at 1 nil, Garnacho direct run was so needed and defensive cover... we were lucky we had him at some point tracking back on one particular twente break
We need to give him time man Erickson did the same on the left and has been our best player. Because he has a brain and is disciplined. Bruno doesn’t combine with Amad to create spaces or angles for him to cross into the box from the right
This type of performance is nothing new. We were 1 pass away from losing the game if their player had played the right pass they would have scored again. Even if we had won 1-0 yesterday this is still a really bad performance…again!
It's sad that i know you will be seen as unpopular for having a balanced, sensible, logical, and mature take. We still have a long way to go and improvement is important and a must. But that will still take time.
Standard Football Club Structure • CEO • Director of Football • Director of Recruitment • Head Coach • Assistant Coach Some United fans' logic • Owner • Manager So, not buying a LB, it was Ten Hag's fault... everything is Ten Hag's fault. 🤣
Ten Hag wanted Malacia and his wish was granted and look where that has gotten us. Yes he isn't the only one, but there are lots of positions we lack quality in and if he wasn't so adamant on signing specific type of players as an excuse to play his way of football we would of signed far better players you nut job.
I wanna know what ETH says at half time during games. Every single game where we play well in the first half we always drop off immediately come the second half.
We're very much underperforming. More especially that we have a healthier squad depth, but we're still not using it. We make like for like changes instead of switching up our approach by introducing players with different abilities. Mount presses well for example and recycles the ball well allowing us to park in the opposition box
@@norvyphill6342 but we don't have lb. carrying Ericson, carrying captain . all right the depth on some position is crazy but others is just thin ice, we are one injury away from disaster at fulbacks and we don't have cb that can play high line except the starting ones. we are stacked at some positions tho cdm, no 8 no 10 striker thats it .
Onana and positioning again, this was a definite save by DDG or any decent GK who closes his near post. First you make sure your, near post is closed and leave no space for a striker to try by that and then you can jump or use your leg if he tries either top or bottom on the far post. You can’t rely on this GK for clear cut save to save a game, and his positioning is getting exposed by day.
"You can’t rely on this GK for clear cut save to save a game." I know, I can't remember the last time he rescued points on his own. I mean, unless you go all the way back to last weekend against Palace and that ridiculous double save he pulled off. You dope.
Wild that everytime Maguire is on the field we have this issue with an open midfield with too much space for opposition. Defensive line always 15 yards deeper than normal. I'm so excited for the time we don't have to rely on him because we can keep the whole team higher up the pitch.
We have blamed the structure, facilities and the players (Now all fixed). It's time Ten Hag has to be responsible. He has had anyone he wanted in the window secured. His game model isn't working. He must see that now and do something about it or we can't be together no more. With that stable structure, players and resources, he should manage stability after 10 games of the season. There's no excuse now
I hope this msg "on the ball slow up, off the ball speed up" reaches the squad some way. Otherwise It's a shame to see such a potential msg being wasted.
I also think Bruno doesn't suit a system which is not looking for high transition and when zirkzee is around , Bruno is missing the runners behind ... But the counter issue is hojlund looks way off this season too
Zirkzee is no issue for Bruno, because Bruno never created for strikers. He only know longballs to the wide players. He rarely created for Cavani, martial, Ronaldo, weghorst, hójlünd or now for zirkzee.
But seriously though why do you eth doesn’t make these seemingly obvious decisions? Multiple managers have made questionable decisions at old trafford. Maybe they become more and more pragmatic as time goes on because of the pressure?
These are things that I think ETH should have picked up on beforehand. He should know that he should not group together his worst defensive players on the same side. It's just a lack of balance. He wants balance in the team because he talks about it so often, so I don't get how he missed this.
to be frank i doubt that he hasnt picked up on it. the case is that if an analysis fan channel can pick up on this, then im quite certain a man utd manager would as well regardless of how bad you may think he's been so far. like id rly rly doubt that he hasnt noticed this weak point already. but i think it's easy to make that case when we lose. but had we won and not been taken advantage of as much down that side, i think most people would have considered it a fine tactical setup. not trying to defend ten hag just trying to rationalize the decision a bit.
I know i am not a manager and it is a hard job but you cant keep making amateurish mistakes. Everyone sees the issues with the team off the pitch and during matches except for our manager. I have never seen in my life a manager in a big team continually make the wrong substitutions every single game.
Bruno is not comfortable with Ten Hag ways of football He always looks frustrated, He is only decent when playing on transition where space are wide, opposition are outnumbered where he can do one touch then comfortably send beautiful long range pass but in crowded opposition that compacting spaces and press aggressively or sitting deep then he become a dead wood
The goal is comical when you see it back five player just taken out by a FC Twente player and he just jogged past them. Its like our players never heard of a tactical foul
@@OrangeManBaddd Yeah, Maguire had that ridiculous panicky challenge just before, but Ugarte bailed him out, and then Eriksen was just too casual when the ball got to him. And if you see his face afterwards, he knows. One positive, I bet he doesn't make that mistake a second time.
You're very good at this bro, but it's pretty simple. Our gaffer is underpants. No disrespect to him as an individual but he has no adaptability, no tactical versatility or nouce, no understanding of his players strengths or weaknesses. There will be zero progression as long as he is in charge, and it's becoming annoying now. He ended the game with Bruno Fernandes on the wing, while subbing Amad and Marcus off . Oh yeah he had 90m sitting on the bench in the form of Anthony who's desperate to find some form. There needs to be a change and fast.
The team is very imbalanced in terms of passing in attack is something I've noticed. Amad: 95% accuracy Zirkzee: 93% accuracy Rashford: 78% accuracy Eriksen: 93% accuracy Fernandes: 75% accuracy Off the bench: Mount: 100% accuracy Garnacho: 86% accuracy Mainoo: 86% accuracy We are notoriously bad at defending counter attacks, and if 2 of our attacking 5 are playing 1 of every 5 passes to the other team, we will continue to concede them.

. Once again another silly goal to give away especually as ugarte won the ball back erikson too slow to move it on in dangerous area. Palace we couldnt finish a djnner and last night with maguire in the team we couldnt pass from the back properly. this! i agree with u completely. rational and logical analysis n i dont think ur conclusion is very silly. i feel that our fanbase is one of the most emotionally reactive fanbases out there, but perhaps that's understandable considering how long we've been waiting for sorta a redemption era which we still haven't got. i figured smthn like this would happen after the transfer window. fans see decent names n expect us to be top of the board when the reality is we're still laying down the foundation. it's clear that there is a blueprint for our setup this season. that's as clear as day. we're just missing that piece where the players fall into their positions properly. that being said, results like these r difficult to accept because it feels like such a low hanging fruit. not trynna be disrespectful towards Twente, but that is a team that we must beat without question. unfortunately, as u said, this is a collective issue. our players r prly not playing the way Ten Hag wants them to play, however, Ten Hag's tactics might be too demanding for our players leaving a lot of bulletholes that other teams will take advantage of. what's certain to me is that we're still in the beginning phase. we need to find a slot where we experience that win streak through solid performances and tactics before we start moving on to the next phase. my concern is moreso what Ineos plan on doing next. i wouldnt be surprised if they chose to get rid of Ten Hag because they aren't convinced by what they see on paper. would it be the right time to get rid of him and implement a new coach? it's hard to say because the timing feels a bit awkward. however, im glad that ineos at the very least seem to have gathered a solid and competent team behind them to guide and make decisions on behalf of utd which means that if the decision is to sack Ten Hag then it was a collective choice made through thorough analysis.
We have rashford and mount as our no.10 and no.7 respectively. Both are jokers
Mazraoui should play on the left against Tot
exactly Aj the biggest problem in last night's game was a lack of intensity from our players. they should be forced to run more in training as a punishment 😡
i think once we simmer down we realise that there was potential yesterday but the midfield is still an ongoing issue. Tactically ten hag is to blame but we have to keep it moving. Ten hag needs to have a proper look at this and work this out
Thank you
💯 agree about the intensity off the ball.
Why cant ETH play Urgate and casemiro in midfield
ugarte case and maino with zerksi strike amad granach on wings proper team
AJ the buck stops with the manager. The adjustments he made didn't help the players in any way. Although the players lacked intensity, an example should have been made by subbing one of them. He's causing his downfall.
I keep saying this.
Is it just me or Bruno keeps trying to play the ball over the top in a low block? How is that ever going to work. He needs to keep the ball on the ground 1-2 passes through the lines and that will break down defenders that’s on the edge of their box
The striker did onana with his eyes, all goalkeepers fall for it.
yea he did what he could there were 3 twettey prayer in penely box to our non. the goal was inevitable at that point . onana was not at fault
@@cellanjones28 He really didn’t. The gap between him and near post was too big.
@@Rangounchaine if you watch it again. the gap isn't that big unless you want him holding the post.
I’m not sure it matters. We’ve not been knocked out.
final third needs work
The defenseive sequence leading to the equalizer was abysmal, oh my freaking goodness. How does erickson let the man run passed him like that, its comical
This game was the same as last time Ten Hag doesn’t have a plan b when it isn’t working
He even hangt got a plan a 😅😅😅
Didn't anyone notice that maguire was dropping the line too deep, and we weren't able to be front footed off the ball. We were not imposing off the ball
They were dominating and then Maguire being Maguire makes an error and makes everyone else look bad
¿¿¿???
But then Ugarte rescued that. And got the ball to Eriksen in the same moment. Who then took too much time on the ball, leading to the really good scoring chance.
it feels like your winger losing a duel shouldn't result in a goal
Great analysis
4 things:
Bruno has to keep it simple... when you are in a new position, keep it simple... pass properly and press properly
Secondly we need to swap full backs (mazraoui can play LB) or get shaw and malacia back; dalot operating from right would keep bruno in that left midfield role he is comfortable with.
Why do you keep saying you'll see us in the next one when obviously we're the one who can see you and you can't see us ? Lost in thoughts 🤔
Good work we should try ugarte in front of defense Casimero and Joshua Garnacho left Rasmus center and Amad on the right
We need to give him time man Erickson did the same on the left and has been our best player.
If you look at the positive you'll see that this is the first goal we conceded the last 4 games, so be positive guys❤
It's sad that i know you will be seen as unpopular for having a balanced, sensible, logical, and mature take. We still have a long way to go and improvement is important and a must. But that will still take time.

So, not buying a LB, it was Ten Hag's fault... everything is Ten Hag's fault.
🤣
Ten Hag wanted Malacia and his wish was granted and look where that has gotten us. Yes he isn't the only one, but there are lots of positions we lack quality in and if he wasn't so adamant on signing specific type of players as an excuse to play his way of football we would of signed far better players you nut job.
From my view the game was good but the second half we had a lot of miss passes and awareness to players plus communication
Europa League at Home, tough scenario for ETH and the boys.
I wanna know what ETH says at half time during games. Every single game where we play well in the first half we always drop off immediately come the second half.
Nice hoodie AJ
The hype-man I need but do not deserve
Mctominay bombing into the box probably suit the Fernandes role better , ironically
AJ, do you think we are underperforming with the squad we have?
That is obvious
@@kingflockthewarrior202 manager is at fault for not signing a rb
@@OrangeManBaddd he wanted to sigh amarabat that can play at lb,
bruno point was bang on...hes really struggling
I hope plans to get a new coach is already in motion.
But the counter issue is hojlund looks way off this season too
Dude hojlund has had 30-ish minutes of game time off the bench, after an injury.
WAAAAY to early to judge.
Zirkzee is no issue for Bruno, because Bruno never created for strikers. He only know longballs to the wide players.
He rarely created for Cavani, martial, Ronaldo, weghorst, hójlünd or now for zirkzee.
@@JohnDoe-qm8ns not judging it's just sad, I also think he is not yet upto full fitness yet... But something needs to change 😞
In as much as the team isn't finishing the chances, Eric has to take the blame for how he is using Rashford and his questionable in-game management.
why did he keep noureddine out the squad? this was self-sabotage
Who signed the players and what is so difficult in passing information from person to person?
Is Maguire now the 100% correlation of us not connecting the fullbacks?
Do analysis for liverpool
But seriously though why do you eth doesn’t make these seemingly obvious decisions? Multiple managers have made questionable decisions at old trafford. Maybe they become more and more pragmatic as time goes on because of the pressure?
The players shooting need lots of practice. They need to look to see where the goalie is
These are things that I think ETH should have picked up on beforehand.
Please broaden your content output, you are a flippen analytical G
man utd needs to be a little more lethal we make amazing chances but we are not converting them
Maguire should not play. he reckless tackle got him out of position.
I know i am not a manager and it is a hard job but you cant keep making amateurish mistakes. Everyone sees the issues with the team off the pitch and during matches except for our manager. I have never seen in my life a manager in a big team continually make the wrong substitutions every single game.
Constant need for blame.
Antony should change his position to fullback like valencia and ashley young he does well defensive contribution
Bruno is not comfortable with Ten Hag ways of football
He always looks frustrated, He is only decent when playing on transition where space are wide, opposition are outnumbered
where he can do one touch then comfortably send beautiful long range pass
but in crowded opposition that compacting spaces and press aggressively or sitting deep then he become a dead wood
ET is done I want it to work I wish it would work but he is done he won't make it
Finally a United fan sees the light
big up to you, finally I'm starting to realise a lot of our 'fans' love ETH more than the club.
The goal is comical when you see it back five player just taken out by a FC Twente player and he just jogged past them. Its like our players never heard of a tactical foul
Onana also poor positioning as well
Maguire happened. Till that championship level player is still in united, nothing will change
Thought it was erikson that gave the ball away better get a clue
@@OrangeManBaddd Yeah, Maguire had that ridiculous panicky challenge just before, but Ugarte bailed him out, and then Eriksen was just too casual when the ball got to him. And if you see his face afterwards, he knows. One positive, I bet he doesn't make that mistake a second time.
So in essence we need a left footed wing back...
Simple football tactics, if u ar using a false 9, u need 2 natural wingers (Runners) so ETH should start both Rashford and Garnacho and drop Amad
The only one to blame is Hag.
Unreliable Players are Fernandes n Rasford.
If they go MU will progess definitely.
It's Mount SZN man🙇🏾♂️
ETH was to blame and is always the one to blam.le.
No he's not that's a pathetic casual way of thinking
@@AJ-ry8qdnever knew they player give themselves instructions not the manager wow
I am sure ten hag won't survive this season. Rud will be the interim manager.
Mu will be as it is if ETH is still around
We shouldn’t play a 9, we should play 3-2-3-2, with 2 number 10’s
This was a easy game,Bruno needs to keep his #10 role so no 11 can play his false 9 abit behind Bruno or start mount instead of bruno
if yoro returns, i'd rather have martinez play in midfield, and push mainoo up as a 10 or use zirkzee there.
He doesn't have the stamina to play in midfield, and he is far and away our best option at left sided CB.
@@scottsinner7530 i'd go for any combination that gets bruno off the pitch tbh.
Eth is a one dimensional coach
Mazraoui's intensity is high and highly unappreciate please don't put him in the callout to our too unnecessarily comfortable players mr.AJ
Just Bruno, and don't play Maguire ever,he is too slow and panicking
Erikson gave the ball away not maguire
They looked so lazy and complacent. Not organised in the final third like they dont know each other.
Amad: 95% accuracy
Zirkzee: 93% accuracy
Rashford: 78% accuracy
Eriksen: 93% accuracy
Fernandes: 75% accuracy
Off the bench:
Mount: 100% accuracy
Garnacho: 86% accuracy
Mainoo: 86% accuracy
We are notoriously bad at defending counter attacks, and if 2 of our attacking 5 are playing 1 of every 5 passes to the other team, we will continue to concede them.

United had no idea what football they wanted to play hopefully they new owners wakes up and sack this manager
. Once again another silly goal to give away especually as ugarte won the ball back erikson too slow to move it on in dangerous area. Palace we couldnt finish a djnner and last night with maguire in the team we couldnt pass from the back properly. These draws ultimatly come down to poor performances from the players my only criticism of ten haag is not dropping bruno ( he needs a rest ) and making the wrong subs at the wrong time
