Anytime you come back to a place you claim you were afraid to be, whatever happens is because you chose to come back. She wasn't afraid. She was angry.

I agree but I think the firearm escalated this situation. If she had came back without the gun it would have just been a continuation of the argument or her sleeping in the hallway in front of the apartment. The firearm gave her power and unfortunately she used that power to kill him instead of sleeping off the anger or calling the police to help. She said she was inebriated. Well, imo you should never touch a firearm when youa re inebriated because you could shoot yourself or someone else while under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

She lied when she told 911 that she was the victim’s wife and she threw the gun in a dumpster. Both of these actions show “consciousness of guilt”. Also, she was outside of the apartment when she shot the victim through a closed, locked door. This is NOT self-defense. It appears that she was the perpetrator of a homicide.

Then she goes back & knocks on his door with her gun yet he wouldn't answer. She was mad & she probably told him I just want my stuff & he decided to open the door but didn't get the chance bc she shot him as soon as he went to the door. It's tragic & he's not here to tell his side of the story. And once again this young man was shot dead by the defendant. I don't believe that she didn't know he was on the other side. She's in the wrong she took this so called one sided fight to the next level & she knows damn well what she had done bc she wouldn't have dumped her gun it makes no sense & giving authorities a different name. If she feared for her life she wouldn't have gone back & being intoxicated is no excuse. She was mad bc he wasn't going to let her back in. This is murder plain & simply. Ontario, 🇨🇦

It appears like she's trying to pursued an innocent helpless victim image. I bet she wasn't speaking anything like that when she was pounding on the door with the pistol in hand. At that point in time she was safe and out of danger. She should of called the police at that time to retrieve her belongings and for a ride out of there. She lied! Listen to the details and you can see that she jumped a step forward without mentioning what happened in between the part where she was in the kitchen on the phone then after finishing the face-time call she says she went to bed and scrolled on her phone and he entered the room turned on the light and started something. She forgot to mention that the argument began when she hung up the call while he was on the couch, then she went into the room and then he followed to tell her to leave. It doesn't make any sense that he was angry and held his argument back only to wait for her to enter HIS room to tell her to leave. It's very clear that she designed her statement to match her crime but what these murderers don't realize is that their stories are always missing the details that end up telling on them! Are there photos of physical bodily harm to prove abuse and if there is it would have been prevented if somebody tells you to leave their home then leave! Afraid for her life what a load of rubbish! He was telling her to leave and she wouldn't! I hope she gets what she deserves! Trying to control the narrative!

Let’s be real people…most ppl have been in situations where at some point in their lives they were involved in a fight/argument that they should have just walked away from. But for those who say she should have walked away, walk away and go where? He had her stuff, money etc. I think he should have thrown her stuff outside the door when she went to charge her phone but you see he was still playing games. That’s why God says, “those without sin may cast the first stone”. Both we’re equally wrong in my eyes. I’m not judging either one. Besides, NO ONE can say how they would have handled that situation unless you were in that situation. Of course it’s easy to say what she/he should have done after the fact but truth is it’s never that simple. I don’t feel she intended to kill him. This was a life changing mistake that came from hurt, anger, physical pain (I.e., from pics) but was instigated by the one who lost his life. May he rest in peace. Truth be told, she was doomed the day they met. Lesson here is if you’re in an abusive relationship leave. But guess what people …people RARELY just walk away. I pray she is released when God says so, not the judge, the jury, or people in this world who is in NO POSITION to cast the first stone. May God give peace to both families bcuz she too was a victim ❤❤

I believe they fought, I believe she was scared but the lieing and the going back with the gun is what makes me believe she had let her anger rule and shoot him. A series of escalated events.

How scared could she be? He went into the room and asked her to leave, and she asked why. She's seems to be the aggressor. She is devious. ..telling the police that she's the wife is diabolical. Don't believe a word she says.

I believe she was the aggressor. He's telling her to leave. She gave his wife's name bc she knew he was fatally injured.

I can’t stand when somebody is a low voice, speaking demon. This girl turned tricks had her boyfriend killed and then killed another one. I’m so glad she didn’t take the 20 year plea offer and she got 55 years. Don’t be quiet now girl speak up.
