He recently did another smaller yt show, I wanna know or something...Best interview with Tim I've ever heard. Brilliant. I watched it right before this. Wish I hadn't closed the tab. I can't remember the guys name at all. It was recent though, within the past six months.
Marc, Unwrapped would air alongside How It's Made in the prime latchkey kid timeslot and has helped fuel a lifelong curiousity around the manufactured world. Thank you, for your passion and voice of gold.
The Woody Allen comment is very revealing, and frankly refreshing given the way Woody is immortalized on On Cinema. We see so few glimpses of the real Tim, and that is a testament to how well he plays his character. The man is an enigma. Also it is hilarious that Tim uses the phrase "jotting down notes" and a couple minutes later says he is a "Dylan freak". I don't think that was in any way planned. I like to think Bob would get a kick out of that. Great interview! Thank you!
I really enjoyed this. I would normally instinctively put Heidecker and Summers in opposite sides of comedy. One "cool" and the other "uncool." This excellent interview helps to dispel this simplistic interpretation. Also, realistically, Double Dare was cool, so what the hell do I know!?!
Huge marc summers freak, as a kid my room was PLASTERED with posters of marc doing his thang, i would watch double dare religiously (taped every ep!). I swear i would just get absolutely lost in his eyes for hours listening to that sultry satin voice. Amazing pod! (All the parts of marc that is..) not sure who this tim guy is but best of luck with his endeavors.
How in the hell did Tim develop his unique comedic chops growing up in Allentown Pa? I'm from Allentown and I'd be willing to bet 90% of Allentown's residents would be scratching their heads when it comes to Tim's style of comedy. BTW I checked out those crab salts, really elevated my game to a whole nother level.
This is so great! It was cool to see you on Office Hours a while back. I had no idea Tim returned the favor and came on your show; tbh I didn't remember you mentioning you had a pod.
I miss you Marc, you’re show Double Dare, and even the weird way you spell you’re name with a C and not a K, you crazy Cunuck. I miss your infectious joy, you were a natural and a talent as a host, or just anything with people.
Does anyone know which Andy Kaufman book Tim was reading a while ago (months/ years)? He mentioned it on Office Hours. There are lots of books about Andy
Marc trying to get Tim to bash on Conan was weak AF. For a guy who admits to watching house hunters and not understanding Tims comedy. You you have no business commenting on such things.
Just watched the part you referred to... it definitely felt like Marc was itching to bring up Conan just to throw in his 2 cents and defend Leno for something Tim had no interest in at all. The rest of the interview seems great
Because Marc is boring, old, and completely out of touch. Just remember, it's up to the interviewer to make the interview great. Marc was more concerned about proving to Tim how hip and with it he is. But he only proved the opposite @@matthewgriffiths9642
This is the best interview of Tim Heidecker I've seen, it was fascinating. Great work.
i Double Dare Marc Summers to watch every piece of media from the On CInema Universe..
502 movies in 502 days! Just to annoy and vex the king of stubbornness (and the master of codes!).
Marc is just a great, genuine guy, and it's plain to see. Tim is a genius. Great interview. You were great on OHL, too, Marc.
Marc, this was a wonderful interview. Thank you for the hour of entertainment. You are a treasure. ❤
Best interview of Tim and I’ve been a fan since the beginning.

Marc Summers has a pod, and great guests, too apparently. Too cool! Love this
How the hell does this channel not have more subs? Marc's famous, yo! C'mon!
Thanks for watching!

Amazing interview, I’ve been a Tim head forever now I’m a Marc head too! ❤
Tim and Eric are crazy talented. Funny. Weird. Unique. And this is the first time I've seen Tim interviewed.
The Woody Allen comment is very revealing, and frankly refreshing given the way Woody is immortalized on On Cinema. We see so few glimpses of the real Tim, and that is a testament to how well he plays his character. The man is an enigma.

Seeing Tim talk about his music on Marc Summers Unwraps is in many ways a sequel of Spotify Wrapped, so it's a real treat for music buffs as well.

Tim's love of Alan Partridge is awesome. I'm glad he mentions Coogan/Partridge in almost every interview.
Excellent interview from two giants! Great to see an unplugged Tim interview like this, one of the greats!
been a fan of both of you since double dare was on tv unbelievable.
You were a fan of Tim Heidecker since double dare was on tv?
@@griffinhennelly6796 well roughly, it was sometimes around the end of the 1900s early 00s. Maybe a 20 gap in there. =]
Good down to earth interview. Took 6 months to pop up on my feed but enjoyed it.
This was a really great interview. And how Tim treated his neighbor who stabbed him shows me he is a really good guy with a good heart.
Whoa, Marc Summers! I just found this channel! Awesome!
Lifelong fan of Marc and I love Tim's comedy. What an unusual meeting but Marc is a fantastic host. I guess Tim grew up with Marc too.
dope interview, Marc
I love that Marc Summers has a podcast now. 5 bags.
You guys forgot to mention Tim Robinson and Nathan Fielder! Would love hear how Heidecker sees his work in relationship to theirs.
Great interview- I love his take on Club Random on his show Office Hours- especially the one with Fred Armison! Can’t get enough of Tim!
This is a phenomenal interview!
Woah I’m apparently late to the party. Marc Summers and Tim Heidecker, exciting.
Great job!

GREAT interview.
Does an know the name of the On Cinem Podcast Tim references at the beginning of the show?
Love that u used his Beef House picture for the thumbnail
Does anyone know which Andy Kaufman book Tim was reading a while ago (months/ years)? He mentioned it on Office Hours. There are lots of books about Andy
Great interview. Marc dropped around 3 names in the first few minutes 😂
🤭
Hi Marc! "High" Network is actually spelt HEI Network
Believe it or not lol
could anyone link the on cinema podcast please?
^^^ yeah I couldn't find it based on what Tim said
It’s mostly on UA-cam. Unbelievably genius stuff

Love you Marc!
Tim didn't mention that when he sent Odenkirk the dvd he included an invoice for it.
what is the podcast with the guys talking about On Cinema he mentions early on?
I'm sure I heard them talk about this same podcast on Office Hours and I still don't know how to find it

Cool interview. Marc is a great interviewer.
"and he based the puppet of A.L.F. on me"

Hey guys!
Imagine hitting a bong with Andy Kaufman, Marc Summers and an unattended ALF puppet prototype.
Spaget! Spooked him.
Waiting for him to wheel out a giant nose for tim to dig around in
He has terrifyingly conventional music taste.
I wish people would stop over using the word 'genius'
Genius idea
i used to only know mark as the ocd gameshow guy, but now i know him as the classless namedropping narcissist
😂 Daaaaaamn
@@LukeMcGuireoideshaha its a lot of American hosts I'd say
o he doesn't play a character, he really is this full of himself
The 3 Stooges? Really? What else, Bugs Bunny?
LORD GOO GOO
Yeah the stooges are lame as fuck and I'm Tim's age
Love Tim but was a boring interview. No Bababoey or “the Zach” on this one.
I thought it was Fla-Fla-Floey ? or Fla Fla Flo Hey?
@@williambaker9506 that’s right! Lol
Where can I get free real estate? This is boring.
Couldn’t sit through ten minutes of this. Was all his weight loss in his funny bone? 🍿 🍿 🍿 🍿 🍿
