@@Fortheclassicalguitarist You're welcome! Maybe make one of best pieces in alternate tunings? i.e. - DGDGBE, CGDGBE, DADF#BD, FADGBE, DADGBD, EbADGBE, EBDGBE, etc...
How funny, I don't think I've ever previously used dropped D & the other day for the first time I used this tuning to play a Brazilian song "Canto de Ossanha". I love your use of clips to showcase different guitarists playing these pieces! So many talented guitarists including yourself!
Of those top 10 could you please identify those pieces around grade 3 to 5? No worries I can just listen to all of them and figure it out🙏 thank you for this post! Awesome!
the only enjoyable songs from this list are the bach piece, capricho arabe and El Testament D'Amelia. Also you forgot prelude in c# from rachmaninoff: (although it is in d minor in this arrangement) ua-cam.com/video/I2edKC--Mx8/v-deo.htmlsi=fnZWh9joU7wNwyip

Saudade No.3 (Roland Diens)
Capriccio Diabolico (M. Castelnuovo-Tedesco)

One of my favourite pieces is Tango Maria by Tarrega, which is 6th dropped to D and 5th dropped to G.
Thats a nice tuning!
Right now, my favorite is the whole Barrueco arrangement of Bachs first cello suite.
His arrangement and recording of those is awesome
