One of the best things about a Rocket III is that it has that bad bulldozer look and sound. And other big cruisers don't want to 'punch it' rolling at say 50 or 60 to 100 or 120 with a seasoned Rocket III rider. I've seen how that scene plays out. A quick fade in the mirrors.
Really wish they would give another option besides the whole black out thing. I like the looks of my 05 more than the newer ones but i do want to upgrade the spring.
@@mattij1 Everyone can not say that. All bikes have problems but some of them have expensive problems. I was reading about the clutch and clutch basket problems, main shaft breakage, transmission issues where it locks up the rear tire, ignition switch problems, valve cover gasket leaks. These are some that I remember and the one where the transmission locks up the rear wheel is not small matter. I don't know what years were effected by these issues but someone stated that after 2010 things were better...
rs rocket 3 is an. amazing machine again better then harley but the damn same old draw back n flaw again why is the air intake is under neath the left side of fuel tank

Every bike has issues. All I can say is the only bike i will ever own will be a Rocket III

Why is the air intake on the left side flaw? Where do you think it should be?
All three of the EFI throttle bodies live under that chrome "bear claw." That's like asking why are all the exhaust headers on the right side?

Form follows function. You NEED a large fuel tank to feed that monster that lives underneath it.
