Flutter is SO exciting. I have been coding on and off for 10 years and just starting understanding the IMMENSE gains to ease of coding and productivity that Flutter can provide. Welcome everyone :)
I see Simon and I'm reminded of the Zuc. Main difference? I feel like I can trust Simon. Very excited to see this series through, once I found Flutter I realized that there was so much potential to save time and money building out solutions. To be able to utilize dart throughout the entire stack would be really cool to achieve.
I'm not sure if Cloud Run is ideal for websockets, as I just checked, and it bills it as active request, until it kills it with timeout after N minutes...
if anyone was having trouble on an android emulator: You have to use 10.0.2.2:8080 instead of localhost:8080 as your uri-String for the WebSocketChannel to get it to work.

Not better, not worse. Just different. I like VScode because it has plugins for every language and framework that I know. Android Studio is only good for Android and Flutter development. The only reason one should prefer AS is if you were an Android developer before learning Flutter.
I love flutter been doing it since 2017 but I feel like flutter is jumping too fast into different environment for example web and gaming when there is so much more work needed on mobile I hope flutter teams sees this too :)
Hope everyone learns something new and has a great time! 💙 💙 💙
Great teacher as always
Absolutely....It is very informative

God bless Flutter and the team behind it.
I have the same issue with VS code automatic pub get , it just doesn't run or something. I think it's a bug in the flutter/dart plugins.
http 3 and gRPC?
What is the name of this theme? 😃
Thanks for the awesome stuff. I'm waiting for dart support in Firebase functions.
I really would like to see the code. Is it aviable? I can't find any links.
Really would like a Dart Server side book.
I love the way how I can't follow this tutorial because my country is not on Google cloud supported countries
Cab someone tell me the vscode theme being used ??
Thank you for the awesome video❤❤❤❤❤❤... Is VSCode better than android studio for flutter development?
You know the dev community will always answer -> It depends!
if(this) than yah
else than that
Personally I prefer VS Code => It's Light weight
Not better, not worse. Just different. I like VScode because it has plugins for every language and framework that I know. Android Studio is only good for Android and Flutter development. The only reason one should prefer AS is if you were an Android developer before learning Flutter.
Nice videos! At last my M1 Mac raises xcodebuild: WARNING: Using the first of multiple matching destinations and does not work. Any ideas?
I don't know well but running flutter clean works... thanks anyway 😉
