Hello, the hotel is perfectly safe, as you can enter the hotel area only with your room card. Although, it is possible to sneak into the hotel via the main entrance/reception but people who work there would immediately notice as they don't have the RIU bracelet on their hand (which is given to you when checking in at the reception apon your arrival). And yes, I felt very safe 🙏😊
Hello, thank you for the comment! You don't need to pay extra for the Chinese restaurant, you just have to reserve a dinner in advance because it's usually full. Wish you a relaxing stay in the hotel :)
Hi thanks for video , what about rooms someone said there are old and new ones is that true? And about far side of hotel how long it take of walking to main hotel?
Hello and thanks. I've been in this hotel twice - 1st time in December 2021, 2nd time in February/March 2022. The first time I stayed in the room shown in this video. As you could see, it looked new, renovated and very nice. The 2nd time I stayed on the north-ish side of the hotel - the one which was connected with RIU after the renovation last year. The room seemed also renovated and quite new. Bathroom was the same, the beds and wardrobes too. The only thing was the balcony/terrace door. It was outdated and very hard to open. I don't know why they didn't change it to the newer sliding doors like in the room I stayed during my first stay. I can tell you exactly how long it took from the very far side of the hotel, since I stayed all the way back there, as I mentioned, during my 2nd stay. From the room to the reception via the outside/exterior bridge which connects the main hotel with the other one should take you no longer than 5 minutes - obviously it also depends on your pace and walking speed. I'm a fast walker so it took me around 2 or 3 minutes to get all the way to the restaurants down there below the reception. I'm glad you asked! Thanks for commenting :) If you're staying at this hotel in the future, I wish you a nice stay!
we have not done a riu hotel for a while but were back in Senegal in April
Thanks for the review. Is there an gym too or only this little fitness room?
Hello, there's just this small fitness room. Thanks!
How is the security in the resort? Do you feel safe? Is it open to everyone?
