Amanda, for outdoor use, you could use Minwax Polyurethane. It is NOT water-based, so you would need a brush cleaner for cleanup, or mineral spirits if you have them. One coat would be sufficient, probably. It comes in the same sheens, from Clear Gloss to Matte, and the only bad part is that it shows a pale yellowish tint against bright whites. I use the Winsor Newton brush cleaner from Michael's, maybe on Amazon also, and I also found it at Hobby Lobby. The small bottle has lasted me a long time, since I just reuse it until it stops cleaning. But that would help at weatherproofing, and maybe help prevent fading. It dries fast, too. 8 ounce can of the varnish is available at Walmart, Home Depot, Amazon, for around $7.
All I can say is wow!
Friend had an estate sale and I got some of these pots. Planning to do exactly what you did. It will be my first try. Love yours!
This came out really pretty. Question: did you prime them before you poured on them? If so what did you use or what would you use? Thanks 8
Very cute :) I just bought some to paint too!
My question is, do you add water to the acrylic paint, so that it will flow? Or is there a special paint?
This is acrylic paint thinned down with water and pouring medium to make it fluid.
Amanda's Designs Thanks for that.👍🏽
@@amandasdesignsofficial how much of each?????
Sorry to read not for outside use! They are very pretty!
Very nice, careful not to get too potted.😉 ---Dave...
Do I need to had a medium to the paint? Thanks Terri
I use pouring mediums to help thin the paint down but if you don't have any, you can just use paint and water.
Lindo amei! Gostaria de saber se fez alguma pintura em vasos de plastico?

Very pretty, do you put any type of varnish on them. Is it necessary.
