The filtration problem would be really easy to fix. Using a metal shroud to catch the small dust, a pre-motor filter with a great seal and a HEPA filter on the back.

I have had 2 of the pros I a salon for just over 10 years and if I can be honest, I’m not super good at cleaning out the filters I definitely do that once in a while, but it could be as little as once every couple years. Having said that I have two that are the home version and they did not hold up as well in the salon. I have one that just broke recently, but I still probably have had it about five years.

I've been really tempted to get one for our busy litter box area that's a pain to keep clean and I don't like to lug the whole upright vacuum down the stairs to the basement... But it's sooo expensive! 😭 But thanks Vacuum Wars for doing this review! Are there any other brands or knockoffs that you found with similar specs?

Aren't built-in versions, as part of a central vacuum, common in kitchens? I would think, if you're building a salon, it might be worthwhile to add a central vacuum type for this reason - rather than buy, and replacing - these units at every station every 1-2 years.

I just found your page... could you give me your best robo vacuum for long dog hair? Ive watched all your videos from this year but I still cant decide... I am willing to a decent bit of cash, I really dont want to buy a 600$ unit if I am losing a ton of features that another 100$ may get me. The long dog hair keeps accumulating along the baseboards on the vinyl floors, and I have a medium mat carpet in 2 other rooms. Thanks!
