Love that you tried a new technique on camera. Showing sometimes the outcome isn’t what is planned but working through it to create a beautiful bird feeder/house. Loving the paint inlay on the drawer. ❤❤❤

“Gateway drug for paint inlays” -that cracked me up! Keep it real, girl! I want to try a paint inlay on a denim jacket. I hope it works.
You should TOTALLY paint a denim jacket with the inlay...in fact this new one would be perfect for that. Hmmm...maybe I should try it!?!

Loved the drawer! I need to hang pictures of my babies too now that they're grown and gone. I'm excited for you having your first IOD release. I think I'm going to have to get the apothecary stamp. That's a good one!
That Apothecary stamp is already sold out with IOD and they are ordering more. I think they underestimated just how good they were because they seem to be everyone's favorite. If you didn't grab one...I will be sure to let you guys know when to expect them back in stock!

You can also seal it with the big top or liquid patina mixed with a little water and use your mister bottle to seal in the inlay
I am going to make this my new standard for inlay sealing! I want something that will guarantee success! Thanks for the suggestion!

Loved all your projects, great inspiration! The new inlays remind me of wallpaper that my Grammie had in one of her bathrooms, I had to get 2 of them to make sure I have enough for whatever I decide to do with them since they are a limited release now.

Try using liquid patina instead of paint it does make a difference

Seriously! How is my baby getting her learner's permit this year? So fast...but some days also SO SLOW! :)
The front of the piece of furniture I like but not the sides, too many different colors and patterns for my taste , however, love 💕 the little drawers and birdhouse, thanks for all the projects you show us
You are most welcome! It's going to take a specific person to grab that furniture but it has been great in the store to show off the inlay!
Id love to try the paint inlays. However, they are so expensive
I understand they are a little investment but such a fun thing to try out when you are able to treat yourself!

Hi I love your videos. How do you stop the air-dry clay from cracking ?
I would say try to slow down the drying time. By spritzing it a little tiny bit with water or painting while still wet which helps it dry slower.

I’m not a fan of the inlays because they are not forgiving. Hard to line up designs on larger areas so it’s not noticeable so better on smalls. I know you put the inlay on backwards on the one side so nothing showed up (we’ve all been there) but what happened on the other side?
The other side I used the inlay for the second time which had a much more rustic look and I wanted it to either be the same look or something different. Almost opened another pack to match it up but decided to go a little crazy with another pattern instead.
