I got exactly that knife 2 days ago and must say (collecting knives the last 15 Years) like it a lot and it will be my new EDC. Like Your review, thanks from Germany
Small and mighty, and feels like quality. Love that knife, can't say enough about it. Don't know what I'm gonna do when it needs to be sharpened though as that blade is complex. I suppose a sharpmaker would work. I've got a short leather lanyard with a wooden bead and diamond knot, and it's perfect. Thanks for showcasing it, can't see it enough in videos.
I don't have much knowledge to bring to this. I don't own amy SOG knives or blades with XHP steel. I've heard good things about both so this on my list. It's hard for me to think of this as a tanto, looks more like a dual going drop point recurve to me. But I have to say I like this one. I think I will be getting this one.
I wish I had jumped on the Kiku fixed blade when it was available. One of my favorite designs from sog. May need to grab one of these. Looking forward to your thoughts.
Xhp is decent enough. S30v level edge retention but sharpens better. Takes a finer edge, and responds really well to stropping. It's barely stainless though. I wouldn't even consider it stainless, based on my experience. It's one of my least favorite good steels, but one of my favorite knives is in XHP so i definitely have a love/hate relationship with it.
Just got my new SOG Kiku XR from Amazon yesterday. So far I love it! Thank you for the great video brother!!!🔪🖤🗡
