You did a great job sculpting. Figured I’d give a tip with the paint. If you dilute it and paint in layers you can get a smoother finish. Looks like you’re using acrylic. So just water would be good enough. Or you can use a soft makeup brush work some paint into the bristles and essentially do a dry brush. Without dabbing it on a paper towel first. Won’t be as smooth as watered down but will still be smoother.
*chuckles* Super cute but I do have some tips as a fellow Polymer clay artist! first tip, Tinfoil is your friend for making armatures, Just scrunch it up into the general shape you want for the body/head and It save you money because you’re using less clay to build your shape plus Tinfoil help bake the clay evenly apparently. Second tip, rubbing Alcohol is a very useful tool for cleaning and smoothing clay of lint and fingerprints, there’s a few tutorials on UA-cam for this tip so look some of them up. Third tip, Don’t be afraid to use Colored/translucent clays for accents like the fins, Gills or for the sculpture itself. It can really had to the effect or instead of Painting and you don’t have colored/translucent clay, you can easily mix mica powders/Paint/Glitter/Alcohol inks into your clay to tint or color it as well!
@@Soleil_Lucario-3847.yes. Spanking is when you smack someone on the butt. lol it did look like she was spanking the fish with the brush though. So it works.
