Both CSE and AI & DS does nor contain any Physics related subject. Only subject you have is Engineering Physics in the first year. That is of Plus Two standard.
IIT palakkad is a new institution. It has some limitations in terms of infrastructure and faculty. But in the coming years, it will become one of the best IIT in India. However, NIT Calicut is a very old Institute with its own legacy. So at present NIT Calicut is better than IIT Palakkad if you are not much concerned about the IIT Tag.
At present Mechanical and allied branches are dull when placement opportunities are concerned. Any of the above branches are advised only if you have an idea to go for Higher Studies in foreign countries. I personally suggest Mechatronics.

You can clear if you have studied well in plus two. If possible , go for a crash course, so that you will get an idea about the questions pattern. Plus Two marks also will be considered for Engineering. So study hard for plus two also. You have to get below 3000 to get into govt college.

It is a truth that Mech is in dull position among all branches for past 2 years. The demand is very low. This is because, there is no job in India.
2. Anybody with a B.Tech or B.E degree can get a job in IT company if he or she know coding. The Advantage of IT/CSE student is that they are studying coding and they are also getting job in coding.
For other branches like Mech or EEE they have to study their core subject and to study coding separately.
If you study mechanical engineering you can get jobs in mechanical related fields.
But for other area, you should study that subject your own.

Both are almost similar. If you do hardwork, and if you have logical thinking, you can master Programming. Doing some Online Courses and watching UA-cam Tutorials from now onwards will help you to improve your coding skill.
Even you can try Doing th Online B.Sc Degree of IIT Madras (Watch our video on that) without dropping B.Sc Mathematics.

Okay. Cheyyam. EEE is relatively tough than Computer Science. But not very tough. EEE has equal difficulty as Mechanical and Civil. Labs are not very difficult, but interesting. Yes it is true that there are some analytical subjects. But if you get the grip it is easy.

ബ്രോ ബിടെക് എടുക്കണം എന്ന് വിചാരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് ആണ് ഞാൻ.. താല്പര്യം ഇല്ലാതെ ആ ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് പോയിട്ട് കാര്യം ഇല്ല എന്നും അറിയാം... എന്നാലും ഞാൻ എന്നേക്കാൾ മുതിർന്ന ആരോട് ബിടെക്നെ കുറിച് ചോദിച്ചാലും അവർ niraashapeduthukayaan.. Job കിട്ടില്ല..4 വർഷം പൂർത്തിയാകാൻ saadhichaalum വെറുതെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടത് വരും... നിനക്ക് വട്ടാണോ?.. Etc.
എന്നാലും ബ്രോ ഒന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു താ ഇത് ടോപ് റാങ്ക് ഒന്നും വാങ്ങിയില്ലെങ്കിലും അത്യാവിശ്യം നല്ല മാർക്കിൽ പാസ് ആയാൽ job കിട്ടില്ലേ.. അത് വിദേശത്താനെങ്കിലും കുഴപ്പല്ല

ബി. ടെക്‌ ബിരുദം ഒരു പ്രൊഫഷണൽ ബിരുദം ആയി മാറി എന്നതിനാൽ, മറ്റേതു ബിരുദത്തേക്കാളും നല്ലതാണെന്ന് പറയാൻ സാധിക്കും. അതായത് ഞാൻ ഈ ബി.ടെക്ക് പഠിച്ചതിനാൽ ഈ ജോലിക്കേ പോകൂ എന്ന മനോഭാവം മാറ്റി, അതിനെ ഒരു അടിസ്ഥാന ബിരുദമായി കാണണമെന്ന് അർത്ഥം.
ഇനി ജോലി. ഒരു വിധം നല്ല പ്ലേസ്മെന്റ് ഉള്ള ഒരു കോളേജിൽ പോയി ചേർന്ന് അവിടെ അത്യാവശ്യം നന്നായി പഠിച്ചാൽ പ്ലേസ്മെന്റ് ലഭിക്കും. പക്ഷെ പഠിക്കുന്ന കോളേജിൽ ക്യാമ്പസ് പ്ലേസ്മെന്റ് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം. അത് ഉറപ്പാക്കിയ ശേഷം മാത്രമേ കോളേജിൽ ചേരാവു. ഒരിക്കലും ഏജന്റുമാർ പറയുന്നത് വിശ്വസിക്കരുത്.
ഏജന്റുമാർ അന്യ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ അഡ്മിഷൻ ആകാത്ത കോളേജുകളിലേക്ക് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ നൽകുന്ന ഒരു റാക്കറ്റ് ആണ്.
അത്തരം കോളെജുകളിൽ അധ്യാപകരോ, പ്ലേസ്മെന്റോ, സൗകര്യങ്ങളോ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കില്ല.
അവിടെ എല്ലാവരും ചേർന്ന് അടിച്ച് പൊളിച്ച് സപ്ലി അടിച്ചിട്ട് എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിനെ കുറ്റം പറഞ്ഞിട്ട് കാര്യമില്ലല്ലോ!
പ്ലേസ്മെന്റ് ഒക്കെ ലഭിക്കുന്ന ടയർ വൺ കോളേജുകളിൽ തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലോ കർണാടകത്തിലോ പഠിക്കാൻ ഒരു വർഷം 1.5 ലക്ഷം എങ്കിലും നിലവിൽ ആകും.
കേരളത്തിൽ പ്ലേസ്മെന്റ് ഉള്ള കോളേജുകളിൽ അഡ്മിഷൻ ലഭിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ അതാണ് ബെറ്റർ.
നിലവിൽ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ സയൻസുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കോഴ്സുകൾ പഠിച്ചാലാണ് ജോലി ലഭിക്കാൻ സാധ്യത കൂടുതൽ.
അത്യാവശ്യം ലോജിക്ക് ഉള്ള, ബിടെക്ക് നന്നായി പഠിച്ച് ഇറങ്ങിയ മിക്കവർക്കും ജോലി ലഭിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

IIT palakkad is a new institution. It has some limitations in terms of infrastructure and faculty. But in the coming years, it will become one of the best IIT in India. However, NIT Calicut is a very old Institute with its own legacy. So at present NIT Calicut is better than IIT Palakkad if you are not much concerned about the IIT Tag.

1. Always select to Govt Colleges if Possible
2. Select Pvt colleges only if placement is available.
3. If Civil is your passion, please follow it.
4.KEAM is not very tough.
5. Govt fees is very low. Pvt college fees will go from 4 Lakh to 8 Lakh
6. Gulf countries are relatively dull if you consider civil.
You can clear if you have studied well in plus two. If possible , go for a crash course, so that you will get an idea about the questions pattern.
Plus Two marks also will be considered for Engineering. So study hard for plus two also.

Yes you are correct. Civil is mainly dealing with Physics and Maths. But if you have will power and if you are dedicated, you can overcome the difficulty and study. But it depends on you! Okay, in that case you need to study some basic course in Computer Programming.
