One suggestion: 1) create a government corporation that would build towers all around the country. A corporation similar to NGCP. This will establish the infrastructure that would level the “playing field” for other companies to enter the industry. This would be spearheaded by government by enacting a law, similar to EPIRA of the electric power industry, for the telecommunications industry. Very informative video! 👏👏👏
hi sir! on a note, I'm just curious and want to know more. We know that one of the mandates of the government for its economy to bloom is to create a competitive yet balanced "playing field" for corporations and prevent misdeeds and bankruptcy. So wouldn't it hurt internet providers if they were to compete against the said government corporation who might have power or control over them?
@@henryjeal6954 The government corporation will not provide the same internet service as the private providers. My idea was the government will provide the infrastructure such as the towers all over the country like the power transmission towers of NGCP. Private companies will attach their cell sites in those towers, rent space from the government corporation.
Or maybe we may need to have government transition from capitalism to communism so that government have power or control over large industries like telcos
@@levijudahpasco3764 Great suggestion! But communism has been proven to be ineffective and unrealiatic. Ever since I learned more about our history and our society, I have always thought that overpopulation is the root cause of all problems in the Philippines. Even now, I still believe it is. So what if we build more towers? So what if we move to 5G? So what if there are more competitors? As long as the number of households keep increasing more than we could upgrade our facilities, we will keep on suffering in many ways. It's not just the internet. We also have shortage of clean accessible water, electricity, living spaces, food, etc. To keep up with these shoratges, we tend to sacrifice the environment by clearing forests and overexploiting natural resources. Our cycle of problems will keep on rolling until all the Filipinos realize how to think and live as a sustainable society. I hate it that we are the social media capital of the world. It shows that most individuals care more about how they look and how they achieve their own personal desires. People want to stand out, show off status, and be famous. Some try to appear "good or saint-like" but they actually have ulterior desires. A political ideology will not solve this, only personal and conscious discipline can. But Filipinos, as their society evolved, have manifested one of their most hideous traits: Crab Mentality. It is very evident not just in forms of corruption but also in the way people operate in social media. Ever since ever, our historians and hereos have been saying that our greatest enemy is ourselves and that is true. We are in a cycle of ruin and I hope, I really hope, that I get to live to see a day where this stops. I'm hoping for a society-changing event that will change how our people think and behave. And no, CoVid was not able to solve this. I wonder what can. I am still a child by Filipino standards okay, but the way I see our country, it is very miserable:(

Informative video. Sana lageng ganto, ung totoong facts na mga tungkol sa pilipinas.
One suggestion:
1) create a government corporation that would build towers all around the country.
@@borrico1965 Yes thanks for the clarification.
Or maybe we may need to have government transition from capitalism to communism so that government have power or control over large industries like telcos
@@levijudahpasco3764 Great suggestion! But communism has been proven to be ineffective and unrealiatic. Even the so called communist countries such as Russia and China are NOT subscribing to communist principles anymore, they’ve adopted capitalist principles already.

Puro import nalang tayo. Puro part of the supply chain nalang. Walang gaanung innovation.
