@@fizzcode7758 Exactly. I don't see any point in comparing rally and F1. Sure, both are considered a motorsport, but they have completely different demands on the driver. In rally you need to be able to drive your car as fast as possible on many different surfaces, manage jumps and control your car in even the most difficult situations, while in F1 you're not alone on the track and need to be able to defend and attack, while managing your fuel, tires and maintain a speed to still be as fast as possible. The only thing that's kinda boring in F1 is, that there is almost allways a team that is dominant, but people act like that's been the case only in todays F1, even tho it has allways been like that. The McLaren 4/4 won 15 out of 16 races and that was in 1988, just to give an example. The thing that's exciting in F1 is what's going on in the midfield and since the rule changes in 2017 I honestly believe F1 has become a lot better again.
Hi Bozzy. Truly hard to imagine it has been 10 years since Colin McRae has graced us with his presence. Thank you for posting this wonderful tribute to my favorite racing legend. It's really awesome to see these cars performing like that again. Thierry Neuville in the Hyundai at the end of the video was amazing! That guy and his car are fantastic!
Ciao Mick! As always times flies... Unfortunately I didn't have the pleasure of seeing him driving back in the days (and if I'm not mistaken he was at Monza Rally Show in 2005). Agree! Neuville but also any other current rally drivers are so nice when it comes to the "Show" moment. They literally make the car do whatever they want! Thanks again mate!
There’s just no finer sound is there. A full blown rally car,...they all sound gorgeous but that scooby rhumble is just something else. 👌✌️👍. RIP Colin and Richard.
Fucking great video with all my favourite old school cars, that gc8 duga still sounds amazing over the rest of the cars! The way neuville threw that hundy about was breathtaking!!! So agile, chuckable and boosty as fuck, Colin would love the new cars with no active diffs, longer power bands and much more chuckable with crazy length shox, I'd love to see him drive one of them!!!! RIP Colin McRae 🇬🇧 the man who brought rallying back to the masses
A pulld the fence back after the show he was siting in a race buggy him self no one about he says you shouldn’t be in hear lol a says Ano but gonna sign brother in am off 😂😂
WHy does this guy get so much respect??? He's a murderer... he was showing off, driving a helicopter illegaly with 2 children onboard, flew too low and killed those poor children, if that was me and you we'd be hated across the world...
@@aaron8973 Tell me something: Why do all people want Group B back so bad? Group B was amazing, I loved it too, but it's not like todays WRC is slower or any less demanding of the driver. Look up the WRC finland video by J-records and then tell me again that todays rally is a bad sport. It really isn't. There is nothing bad about being nostalgic in any way, but there are a lot of people who are blinded by their nostalgia and try to badmouth anything that's new.
@@xPERSHI I think the point is that group b had almost no restrictions on the car, and manufacturers could go absolutely bonkers, that sort of innovation and crazy speed would be something amazing to see with modern day technology. But honestly, it was too dangerous I guess so they most likely won't bring it back.
@@aaron8973 Yeah, that's what killed of Group B, it was simply put too dangerous and after that crash of the lancia, where the driver and co-driver were killed (sorry, I dpn't remember their names unfortunately) it was pretty much doomed. Speaking of no rstrictions, I think regulations are kinda necessary in Motorsports, otherwise manufacturers would bring very unequal cars to rallys/races, which could result in one manufacturer completely dominating, which then would destroy the whole point of competition imo (though regulations don't allways work regarding that, see Mercedes in F1 for example). Then again, with the manufacturers having no restrictions, we got all those glorious Audi 5cyl quattros, so Group B definetley was a gift to the automobile industry.
Now that I think about it, no restrictions would obviously benefit the competition between the manufacturers. So let me rephrase: having strict regulations benefits the competition between the drivers and having non could destroy the point of competition in the driver standings, though it would benefit the competition between the manufacturers.
There's just something special about those Subaru's.
Right?

Why do all people try to compare rally to f1, what did f1 do to make you people just complain about it. Why cant we love both sports
