this is a good reminder that i've yet to pick up the Tokyo at Night art book! 👀 and that A3 cover and poster...there's so many things i still need to check out but that's definitely one on the list. love that illustration now that you've shown it 😍
The art book is so nice!! and A3! is such a feel good anime for me! It's about a theater company and the different troupes of actors (full of really fun guys) 🥰 Hope you enjoy it!
I don’t know if you already know this, but the artist of the storefronts art books has a UA-cam channel with a few videos that show how the paintings were made and they are really interesting. Some also with the artist talking about his experiences and the stories behind some of the art.
Oooh, I didn't know!! I'll have to look it up, thank you!! 👀 I haven't gone through and read the interviews at the back of the art books so I still need to do that too!! 😊
A3 did have a manga series and has some light novels too! I've got the two Summer volumes - also grabbed from Mercari. The manga ran in Monthly Comic Zero Sum but yeah it just covers what the anime did. There are some light novels covering later stuff though. I also have that issue of B's Log because A3 and Heart No Kuni Alice and I've got the poster on my wall XD. I love Itaru too partially as he's hot and partially because he's voiced by AsaShin...
Aaaahh!! I didn't know! Does it have a different title for the manga or light novels other than just A3! or Act Addict Actors?? I'll have to look into it, thank you! 👀 Omi and Juza are actually my two favorites, and then Itaru and Sakyo next 🥰 I really hope one day Juza and Omi will get a cover (and poster) of just them 🙏
How much of a budget do you recommend when making a Japan order? As is how much for items more or less in your experience & how much for shipping? im trying to budget cause I have so many things I have seen I might want but i don't know. Im scared of the shipping from buyee to my home being super expensive :(
Honestly, it depends on what and how much you're getting because it's based on the weight and size of the final consolidated package.. I've made quite a few Buyee orders and they're usually about the same size, so I just plan on around that amount, but the shipping for this most recent order was A LOT more than usual, so idk if international shipping costs have gone up in general (?) but if you want a good shopping budget, I do know that on Mercari, on the product pages, there’s a “total estimate” tool where you get an estimated shipping cost for the item. I wish it was more affordable to buy from overseas 🥲 but hope that helps!!
Is there an option to remove the original packaging when Buyee consolidate the package? I think international shipping fee is based on weight and size. Those four boxes wasted a lot space.
They really did 😭 There isn't an option at check out, but I was told by a few people that they will email Buyee customer support when they apply for package consolidation and ask for og packaging to be removed for further consolidation, so def would recommend that to cut down on shipping fees 😮💨
@@KKchanisaGirl Thanks so much! I followed your video and ordered from Buyee. I emailed them after consolidation. They said they received numerous feedbacks from customers. So during consolidation process, the original shipping boxes/bags will be dismantled, and the items will be placed inside the transport boxes/bags used for consolidation.
Woah...I mainly order from Cdjapan...but I'm kinda afraid of using proxy service becoz they're kinda risky...and the prices for proxy item are too high...
Buyee is really easy to use, and I've had only good experiences aside from the shipping costs this time. I don't think the fees per item are that bad, only 300 yen (which was decreased from 500 yen last year) and they no longer charge a consolidation fee (it used to be an additional 1,000 yen fee). I've heard other proxy services have more affordable shipping costs because Buyee uses a more expensive forwarding service (Tenso), so I'm planning to try some other proxy services next, but for me, I make a lot of purchases of secondhand items from Mercari Japan, so I have to use a proxy service since they're don't ship overseas..
I've made several orders using Buyee, and they've all been good, just this time with the expensive shipping 😑 One time a seller didn't send an order I purchased and Buyee was pretty quick to refund me 👍
@@KKchanisaGirl i just ordered an acrylic stand from buyee mercari…and after ordering only the product is showing sold out so i was wondering is it because of me or someone else ordered at the same time….and i got an email also that they have purchased the item but it’s still not shipped yet at their warehouse so I’m thinking if I’ll get that product or not (btw it’s my first time purchasing from buyee)
@@EATWITHCHIBICHAN That's normal! When after you put submit your order to Buyee, they make the order form Mercari Japan, and then the Mercari seller marks it as sold and send it to the Buyee warehouse 👌 How exciting!! Hope you have a good experience 🤗
Me watching this and adding the Food Wars book to my already huge Buyee haul 🫢 also how do you find the email to ask them to consolidate? Also have you ever used the seamail option? I know it's always the cheapest but I haven't decided which one to chose yet.
Good choice 🤭 It's just their customer service email (support@buyee.jp) 👍 I've only ever used the Buyee Air Mail option, and it's been really good for me every time. Usually gets to me within 3-4 days, and it'll be either DHL or FedEx. I really don't trust the seamail option when they even have a little disclaimer that a lot of the packages get damaged..

@KK-chan is a Girl! As far as I know its just A3! Then whichever season you're looking at. I can't remember what I searched to find my manga now
Those Tokyo art books look amazing!
