CSX 911 Spirit of First Responders w/ Nice K5LA Leads C309-03 on 8/9/24

I got lucky being able to get out to see this. I think this is the first time (along with its run on E309) 911 has been on the KD in at least three years. I also saw some T-38 Talons come into McGhee Tyson as well.

The iPhone actually looks a little better and I can actually pay attention more to the train rather than my camera or me trying to stand still

Not quite as good as it used to be, the #2 bell has loose bolts and is tilting downwards on the manifold which is why the horn is weaker now

That would explain it. It’s weird because I’ve been able to easily hear it from a distance but then it sounds quiet up close
