- A collection of train crashes that I have made in Scrap Mechanic. Not all of the creations that are featured are mine, and not all of my creations in this video are on the workshop.
I have plenty more footage of other train crashes, so I may put together a part 2 at some point.

At 1:00 am the commuter train slams into the train at 48mph and the and 1 commuter train and 1 coach plunge into the water killing 5 people and injured 130 1 commuter train and 1 coach were repaired and scrapped but another train was repaired and back from the service 0:47
At 0:17 there’s a super 8 train crash
What mod do you use for the train tracks? I see one mod but it seems to be broken and only updated since 2018. Is this the mod by Lord Pain?
I use the Terrain assets by Lord Pain mod. Even though it has not been updated since 2018 it still works. (well, the train tracks at least) I have run into problems with the train tracks not showing up, but I think it's caused by no small tiles in the world having train tracks. It's strange, but everything else about the mod is great.

question, what kind of PC or physics are you on? I lag largely with just 3 train cars at simple 1.
Unfortinatly, I don't think my computer is a factor in what you're experiencing. The recent wedges and physics update seems to have majorly messed with how certain types of creations act, and trains seem to be one of them. Hopefully these issues get fixed in future updates, but for now trains have indeed become worse.

Can i ask what procesor and gpu do you run?
I'm curious of one thing, how does he get trains to go so smoothly at such high speed? Mine hop a lot and seem to derail randomly
I have had these issues with my trains before and I find that the best solution is to make sure the wheels are not touching any part other than the surface the bearing is attached to. Collisions between other surfaces and the spinning wheels seems to be the main cause of the bouncing.

Is the f40ph in 5:35 a mod?
No it's almost entirely vanilla. I use the Drag Reducer from the Engineer's Toolbox mod go give my trains more realistic movement, but the builds themselves are entirely vanilla. That locomotive is called the DE-4-3 and it's on my workshop.

How are you getting such flawless framerates? I lag HARD after putting down an engine and 2 cars lol
I turn the physics quality all the way down to 1, which reduces the amount of processing power the physics engine uses. You can change it in the settings. Trains, especially ones meant for it, preform very well at low physics qualities. The downside to low physics settings is that creations may become "floppy" or not work properly.
