"Be the dumbest person in the room" - this is such a great tip because I've always tried to be the smartest. And instead I need to make it a habit of surrounding myself people who I can learn from and inspire me.
I loved this one as well! And I can totally relate to you. Trying to be the dumbest person in the room requires different mindset and actually a lot of courage
As you said, these are some successful habits Wake up early Physical activity Reading Meditation Controlling diet by sticking to fruits and veggies Cold shower for cleanliness Looking at news on televion instead of movies and comedy shows Socializing with people Reduce sleep Yoga Gardening Learning new language Writing by paraphrasing an article, which will be useful for ur blogging skill Stop being over emotional with opposite sex Reduce your internet dependance Reduce watching tv by limiting to news
Meeting new people would be life changing for me. The hard thing is finding places to meet these people in an organic way, without scaring them away with my introverted awkwardness :)
Yessss, so much yes. I told my boyfriend this week, why wait for the new year to start working on goals and building new habits. I just planned some new habits that I want to start phasing into my life, that are in line with my goals for the next year. So I'm basically getting a head start with my new years resolutions. You named a few habits that I already had in mind. Will be writing these down. Have a good week Boss Babe.
What makes me laugh is watching Tiffany Haddish interviews. 🤗🤣Besides being funny, she's always positive and talking about gratitude on every situation she's been in.
OMG this was GOLD!! Thank you sooo much!! I will DEFINITELY take on the habit of laughing EVERY DAY and focus waaay less on the gap and acknowledge the steps taken so far! Thank you so so much! X
oh yeah, "Plan, Do, Plan, Do" 💯 SO NEEDED THAT! posted that at my desk at work, and bout to post it on bedroom wall as soon as I get in the house! 🙌 Plan, Do, Plan, Do is going to be on repeat in my head all this quarter and the next! plan, do, plan, do! 💯🙌 thanks again! 😃
Hey Erin, do you think you could do a video on being organized. I’m obsessed with organization but I want to know how you used it to help elevate your business. I’m struggling & your tips would be wonderful! Very nice video 😊
Hey Sherrell! I’m actually brainstorming a video on this topic rn. I’d love to get your insight on what aspects you’re struggling with, if you’re open to sharing?
Laughing is my favorite thing to do! “If we learn to laugh at ourselves, we will never cease to be amused.” Great video! Would love for you to make one on reframing situations. A change in perspective changes everything!
This video is truly amazing Erin because of two things 1)I love the topic of habits and enjoyed the content particularly when you spoke of the concept of Reframing. Its a pretty powerful way of staying on top of your A game . 2)I am currently developing a 10 Part Habit Masterclass because of the crucial role that they play in our lives and success . Keep up the amazing work and great content .
Reframing. All of them are excellent tips/habits but Reframing just sparked the light bulb that illuminated the path/vision! 🙌 definitely staying tuned in 2019! thanks Erin May!
I loved this video because I also suffer from shiny thing syndrome mentally and physically. I’m improving on using my time to be most beneficial to my success. And this video was no only beneficial but also entertaining. Thank you for your work.
I love these and have worked on incorporating many over the years! Laughing is so underrated. I literally used laughing (by watching comedy movies) to recover from my divorce and raise my frequency 🙌
Thank you so much for the advise😊 iv watched so many to dos to be successful but most times their to dos are so impossible its exhausting.....this is great and inspiring...... lots of love
One of my habits is that my working space should be in an orderly manner so that my thoughts and my mind are tidied up and I can focus on doing my daily goals. And I do love meeting new people who can enhance my entrepreneurial skills and to be more successful. And for the year 2019, I may add to my lists to take time to smile and laugh to reduce my stress hormones and to increase more oxygen supply to my body to feel really good. Thanks for sharing this great video, Erin!
Actually you made me smile couple of times during this video, especially when you mentioned the laugh habit! It is absolutely true, and I appreciate all your advises you shared here. Thank you!
Reframing & laughing have been integral in changing my life. I remember laughing at nothing with a friend of mine and to date we still recall how good that felt. We literally just started laughing for no reason and ended up in stitches (not literally, lol). I'm terrible at habit no 7... need to work on this.
Aaaaah Erin. Looove your videos and I think you're super smart .....With all the love in the world I have to comment on the step about "trying something new everyday"...... First of all, it's not the same as "find something that challenges you everyday". While trying something new everyday would be almost imposible, exhausting and can distract your mind off of the focus needed to reach your original goals; A one short/medium/long term project on the other hand, can challenge you everyday, for weeks or months and can be perfectly acceptable and doable.
Thanks for the comment lovely but I have to disagree. I think without taking it too literally on the challenge side of it, we can try our hardest to grow and try new things each day. I mean it could be anything. Using a new ingredient, taking a difference rout walking, doing a new meditation, doing a little kitchen dance, trying a new journaling practice, watching a new UA-camr. The point isn't to criticise anyone who misses a day; it's more a suggestion to help break the monotony in peoples lives which can lead to unfulfillment.
I totally agree with you erin about the reframing ! Ive been working super hard on this, this past year. I have lost that a bit, good little reminder! Especially within business!
I came across you from Sugarmamma, and I’m so gad iI did. I run an on-line business , which i need to grow, and you have totally motivated me to do so. I’ve no idea why my ideas are flowing so much, but think it must be the “Erin” effect. Thank you from England.
This video is so motivating for me. Second time I've viewed!! Love it as a background as I work to reinforce these positive behaviors. Thank you & happy new year!!
This is my first video of yours I have watched and I subscribed. As a soon to be college graduate, these tips are what I need as I start my career/ search. Thank you
You are just gorgeous! All the habits make sense and the way you talk about them is absolutely inspiring! I would add a habit of meditation as it really brings a lot of clarity to your mind and you start hearing yourself better! Thank you so much for being so genuine : )
Girl I loved the David Brent thing at the end. Did make me laugh lol. You kick ass!! Also I needed the productivity tip. That's definitely my biggest struggle.
There are a ton of 5 and 10 minute yoga sequences on UA-cam. My favorite is Yoga by Adriene. That's how I make sure to get in some yoga. (And I'm a yoga teacher! LOL)
That little clip at the end really made me LOL!! Thank you for a great video, loved your advice and I feel so much better about this upcoming day already! Keep up the great content :)
Wonderful! I’m Italian, I don’t knew very well English and you speak very quickly ( 😂 ) but in my opinion this is one of the most interesting and inspiring video about personal growth and self care. Thank you so much (and sorry for my English 🙏🙏🙏).
I need to get back into journaling. I can see the benefit. Also need to work on regularly decluttering. Nov is my month to get into better habits in my daily. 🌟 ty for the video love!
Thanks Erin for a great video! I liked all the habits, but mostly the habit of stepping out of your comfort zone. Could you please expand on this habit in your next video. I'm reading the book now " Feel the fear and do it anyway" and starting to realise that in order to grow we need constantly step out of our comfort zone and to "stretch" ourselves. So would be grateful if you would expand on this topic. And I really really liked the habit of laughter! So important! I was doing journaling the other day and heard the word "celebrate". Celebrate each and every day! Lots of love, Erin 😁❤😊
Sorry me again, you mentioned the shiny object syndrome and wanting to do all different stuff, how was you able to narrow it down to a focus? I think a lot of people struggle with that.
Yes! Please make a vid about reframing our mindsets. This is my biggest challenge especially in reference to having to work and start my business at the same time (hence, wanting to quit my job in order to move forward, but I can bc I need to eat lol) Finding the positive in that is an emotional and mental war! 😅🙃😎
I love the reframe part. Love it love it love it. Although sometimes is so hard to do it, I always try. Like for example, why does nobody know about my channel no matter what I do? Lol. Very nice video!
Wow...i love this because im that friend that have three kids but i want to start a channel but i need to be more discipline thats why i ran across your channel.btw your video was the best advice for me in my opoin know im now a subbie to your channel.thanks for the advice
Can You make a video about negative People I work with really negative People in office And I don't wan't to be like them Don't want their infulence on me Ican't remove myself from them because we have to work together
That's such a challenging problem ! I've had the same problem ... I hated myself because I was turning like them just to be accepted by my colleagues. There was so much negativity in my life at that time. To the extend it made me sick & I'm still battling the bad effects of this job experience.
This video was SO. SO Helpful (cannot express my gratitude enough- thank you thank you thank you!!!). For 3 weeks I've been on a stress-filled rollarcoaster (and am currently so burnt out >A

"Be the dumbest person in the room" - this is such a great tip because I've always tried to be the smartest. And instead I need to make it a habit of surrounding myself people who I can learn from and inspire me.
It's such a game-changing habit! x

Jessica E Bennett try looking up events that are happening in your city! :)
Introvert here too. 🙋♀️
Do you have meetups in your city? (I mean the app) This is a great way to meet new people
You’re an INCREDIBLE speaker! Clear, concise and to the point. Thank you for this.

I really love the reframing! And I’ve been decluttering this weekend - thanks for the reaffirmation! “I’m growing. I’m learning.”
