The amp is a true jewel, at least in the video, I don't know about in my hands. But I suspect it was strongly influenced by a blackface fender super reverb which Leo Fender purposely voiced for his competitors' hollow and semihollow bodied guitars since, back then, most players (even rockers) preferred them if price was no object. However, as things would go, by 1969 solidbodies became prominent and very few tube amps were afterwards voiced for semihollow and hollowbodied guitars until mesa designed this amp. But many people don't know what an electric (semi) hollowbodie guitar is and can only identify teles, strats and LPs.
Yeah the cleans on this amp rock, VERB fender super reverb vibes, but a bit more versatile. I do wish it had a rectifier tube or a switchable one so you go from super reverb vibe to twin reverb vibe.
Does it come in cream color like the Fillmore 25?
Pretty sure you can order Mesa with any finishings
Straight in with no pedals is more helpful.
I'd highly disagree, who doesn't use pedals? Plus a big majority of it is with no pedals. So it's got both
