How could it be a myth when you open 500 packs and get a Heirloom? It's explained on the ea website that you can't open more than 500 packs without getting a Heirloom, why should this not be true?

According to the official FAQ, if you haven't got an heirloom in your last 500 packs you will get it on the next pack. What people haven't realized while tracking is that Respawn themselves have noted bugs that would reset this counter (like the thematic packs bug).

Gotta be honest, I absolutely love horizon. It’s not even a competition. Her backstory really speaks to me and I am so invested in her character. Cannot wait to see how her story continues. And that’s not even touching upon her skill set. Her tactical is my favourite tactical. It has multiple uses and I consider it an easier version of octane’s ult or valk’s passive. Plus, you can heal, shoot, reload, escape, or reposition effortlessly with it. It’s an instant high ground as well. Her passive is so satisfying to play with as well. So many other things about her I could talk about forever, but she’s my favourite legend.

My favorite is Revenant because his climbing walls can get you into or out of fights, his tactical makes it so you have a better fighting chance, and his ultimate means that you have a second life and a higher chance of winning against your opponent. Plus I think his voice lines are very cool.
His voice lines are badass. My favorite one is while he revives a teammate, and he says "You're better off dead, but I can use the cover".

@@radium460 same as me, i been playing since the game dropped before it went popular till this day i have not paid any packs for an heirloom and i still dont get one. maybe we just played n leveled up lets try count our level and divide it by 2 because we get packs every 2 levels correct? maybe from there we know how many packs we open

favorite gotta be horizon for movement reasons. She can easily get high ground in any fight, and any ring, and is insanely op if a full team is stuck together in a room or such. everyone in your team throws just 1 arc star and your ult and they are ALL dead. Also the insane lineups you can get with her non-fall penalty passive. If you mix her with octane she is easily the best movement character as she can easily keep a jumppad lineup going for hundreds of meters if used correctly

Ash is my favourite legend because i love using her phase tear to tp to enemies and knock them all, her passive is also really nice because you can locate people, only thing is i think her tactical needs a rework tho
My favorite has to be Loba. She was my first main and I just love how easy it is to get an optimal loadout with her. Getting easy armors for armor swaps at the final ring can also be really handy.

My favorite character is race she is so good to use in when you're in duos I am trying to get the heirloom but it's getting hard for me so I gave up then I came back to my sentence and I went back to the heirloom again but I didn't get it so I'm still trying I'm your biggest fan❤❤❤
Bloodhound provides SO MUCH to the team, wallhacks, a speed increase, even something as simple as his passive is an integral part to his kit!

Favourite legend has got to be Octane. I always had a soft spot for cocky, overconfident speedsters ( like Quicksilver or Kabal ) and his personality overall really appeals to me. I love the way they animated him to where he never sits still.
He's a legend I can have fun with because every dumb, reckless play I make that somehow works out feels in-character. Not to mention chasing after people with him is probably the most fun thing there is.

My favourite has to be Valkyrie I just started a week ago but she always stuck out to me, when I finally got her I was so happy! Her play style fits me perfectly and it’s so versatile, it allows me to be offensive while avoiding dmg.

My main is Bloodhound, although this is not a very common main i love it and i cannot say that i used it from day one (which was Pathfinder) but i just find it easy to make plays with his seeing through walls ability and his ultimate is great as you can not only see people in red (which makes it much easier to aim at people but it also has speed and you can use that as a running away from enemy option
I love bloodhound. His lore is great and he is strong in terms of aggressive plays. When I use his ULT, I’m unstoppable.
Actually you are guaranteed a heirloom at 500 packs however
1. Event packs don’t count
2. If you already have a heirloom at that point it’s all dependent on luck
Edit. I got my heirloom shards at my 500th pack (yes ik I’m unlucky) but it turns out it’s every 500th pack as proven by a friend of mine who has reached that amount twice now. So if u alr have a heirloom the counter resets

I thought if you got one then it just reset the counter rather than removing it completely. And yeah, I can confirm that i got my heirloom on exactly my 500th pack

Bruh. I have been trying to keep track how many apex packs i have opened and included all event packs because i didnt know they dont count. But i atleast i havent opened that many of them so im going to probaply need to lower the amount by like 5

My favourite legend is Valkyrie. It makes it easier to rotate and get out of a sticky situation with my team. The wings just make it easier to move in general without needing to run to a zip line or find a set of stairs. Also Kings Canyon is such a large map sometimes her ult is vital to rotate to ring late game.

My favorite has to be wraith because her abilities are very solid in many situations like positioning, pushing, and escaping.
For me it has to be Valkyrie because her jets allow her to get out of bad situations and push people her tactical is great for getting people out of cover and stunning them so you can beam them he ultimate can get you out of zone or push people and with her passive you an see people so you can push people a lot easier.

My main is Wattson because I like to be a defender and I’m not such an aggressive player, so she’s perfect for me. She’s actually rlly underrated when the team is under pressure because she can set fences by the doors and have her interception pylon placed near to help defend from explosives being thrown at us AND it regenerates our shield. Plus, she’s also French😂
You should learn to push with her cause she can 1v3 almost every squad with the peacekeeper shotgun pluss her broken ultimate helping your team with the shields
Ive been playing bloodhound since day one. Even tho ive taken a long break from apex for a while cause of certain changes that taken place over the past couple updates but when i saw somethings come back and get removed i can finally enjoy the game the same way I’ve enjoyed it long ago.
My favorite is Lifeline! Ik she may not be very popular and powered up like majority of the legends, but i always liked the role of support. She definitely can be handy as well, especially with the gold backpack.

I have my highest kill game so far with lifeline. I was catching people off guard with the revives. They automatically think he’s reviving his teammate. Then my drone is doing it and I’m laying them out.

Simple, it's Octane, so much fun especially with the peacekeeper. Also his personality is great, especially with me also being Mexican. When I play him and I rush the enemies I love yelling random things like "Muchacho, Amigo, Compadre, Cucaracha" and other things.
My favorite character is wraith I started playing this season and instantly fell in love with her due to her amazing abilities which allow u to slip in and out of fights

My fav seer, he is useful for many different things such as locating enemies that you dont even know about and the fact of his Ult comes very useful in big battle's and the heartbeat sensor are really helpful with his tactical.

For me has to be bloodhound because he is one of the strongest ultimates in the game, because it offers you enhanced tracking, speed and highlights enemies. Because it does all that, you don't want to waste it as it is also Bloodhound's only means of escape

Favorite is Pathfinder. I like how I can apply pressure to enemy teams by grabbing or taking away high ground, angling out or pushing. Pathy is a great playmaker legend to me. All the different types of grapples make the game fun. Started playing Apex S10, but didn't start playing Pathy until S11.
So true, the grapple skill ceiling is the highest ceiling in the game, if mastered, you flu around the map effortlessly. Not to mention his grapple is a better get out of jail free card then wraith void run

Speaking of the heirloom myth of being under lvl 500 or 500 packs I got an heirloom in my second pack at lvl 7 and I didn’t even know what heirlooms are 😂😂😂

I would have to go with bloodhound. I say bloodhound because of the way you are able to go faster and have players highlighted in red when you use in your ultimate. I love the way he can scan and it helps me out when I can’t see anyone.
Great advice! Also, to enter into the drawing, my favorite legend right now is Valkyrie. I don't think anyone comes even close to her ability to reposition their whole team and completely change a fight when you're in the worst spot you could be in

Bruh compared to wraith, octane or Bangalore the caustic one isn't that well designed and weird
even if you craft stuff it still doesnt matter it just replaces it with crafting metals it is guarantied after 500 packs the reason why they didnt get an heirloom was because the mis-calculated or what they used to keep track was wrong. lots of people believe crafting weapon skins and legends helps but doesnt at all. theres proof more of people getting an heirloom at 500 packs then their is too. im saying this from a perspective of having every heirloom i got my first 3 from luck and the rest from money.
My favourite legend has got to be pathfinder, his grapple provides so much utility and is great in a plethora of situations. It is a shame he doesn't really have a passive.

Just got horizon and she’s growing to become my favorite, her ability is so useful to block doors hallways to get Hugh ground or to get away from a thirds party, no stuns from fall damage, her ult combined with ark starts is the best combo to damage

My favourite legend to play/ favourite legend for who they are is Rampart, the accent, the personality is just so personable to me, and in my city I feel like I know so many Ramparts and I love it. Not to mention Sheila shreds.
You lose half the crafting metals spent on crafting each time you craft, regardless of how many times you get the duplicate item from packs.
Seer has gotta be one of the best legends in my opinion, they buffed him where his tactical stops other players from healing and using shields. And his ultimate is just really useful in tough situations

We’ll go be honest I was running rampart most of the time just because her walls are useful and the mini gun as well I got 200+ kills in arenas with over 70,000 damage in just a week but now I recently unlocked octane and it’s just a whole different level the movement is crazy as well as the stim is hella useful best part is the pad jump!!!

I’m pretty sure they changed it again so now if you DONT ALREADY have a heirloom by 500 packs you get it but if you already have one then you don’t get it, could be wrong though
The main reason I looked this up was because my Uncle has had two accounts get to max level and he has never gotten an heirloom, I just don’t want that to be me. This was before prestige stuff tho. But the original max level was 500 and he has gotten to level 500 twice and is new acount is level 450 so in total that is 1450 levels or 725 apex packs that he didn’t buy.
dude crafting grey items wont boost your chances of getting herilooms its not like when you have every skin in the game all you get is heirlooms, you just get crafting materials...
