My trim tabs and their wiring are under the waterline and one has failed. Is there any reason I couldn't run the wire for the new actuator through a hole in the transom higher up, out of the water entirely? This would let me avoid hauling her out of the slip. I would use the existing actuator hull bracket where it is.
Lenco tabs on my boat cannot be grounded. They have plastic top and bottom. This will cause pitting on the ram and will leak in time. The lenco switch I got with my new boat has already failed 6 months out. I had hydraulic tabs on my last boat for 14 years and no problem. If these tabs keep giving me problems I will go back to hydraulic.
hello! very explenative video! I have a set of Lenco trim tabs, i exercise them one day, and the next day they didnt move at all, what could it be? thank you!
I love you guys thank you
