39 years ago , I was 11 years old when I became a big Juventus supporter due to the sadness and sympathy I had watching Liverpool match , may all of their souls rest in peace.
Beppe, I don't believe much in your analysis of Vlahovic.
His pass security is low and technically he is far from Suarez.
I don't think he would do well with so much responsibility in the game build-up.
In my opinion, he should have a role similar to Hååland. With a focus in the penalty area and deep runs behind the back line. When he meets the ball, he should give a simple pass sideways or backwards.
But who know maybe he will improve under Motta.
I understand most Juventinis who want to keep Chiesa. I'm also a big supporter.
But there are advantages to having Gudmundsson on the edge.
Gudmundsson can play centrally and on the edges. He is skilled on the ball and can serve his teammates with good passes. A big advantage for ball possession and combinations.
Chiesa is very individually skilled who seeks out to the edges. An explosive player with the goal in focus, either with the finishing pass or getting to the finish.
I am happy with both.
Gudmundsson has rape allegations against him. Think we should stat away from controversies like that

If you want to play that way, you need a striker that has close ball control, quick turn and quick passing - these are the 3 areas that Vlahovic has LITERALLY shown consistently that he does NOT have. Again, I say it’s sad, I’m guessing he’s a nice guy, but we have to be brutally honest with our assessments of these players. After all, it’s Juventus first not “love” for any single player.
i totally agree. If dusan play as a striker who connects and not like a haaland type striker, he should only be played like giroud, higher up the pitch and only cause he has a strong body

Thank you Beppe good analysis one question comes up with the 433/4231 and especially with Motta system where our mids would push toward the box do you think we have the players (even if Rabiot stays) to secure/hold the midfield? This system screams the need for a Vidal type player.
Really great tactical analysis beppe! Would love to discuss more tactics this summer. This will be a really big test for MOTTA who has to answer a lot of questions. How can he take these players on juve and implement them into his system? How will he adapt his system? Big responsibilities for vlahovic (which is why I always thought Milik is the perfect striker for the Motta system). Will we use a double pivot? What is the place of Danilo in this team?

Dusan needs to improve his first touch and feet to handle that task. He can't do what Zirkzee did this year. Dusan has trouble playing with hos back against the opponents goal. I hope Motta can fix this.
in a 4-3-3 and your analysis we will probably be with locatelli-rabiot-koopmeiners(if we buy him). which leaves loca again in a position he doesn't perform. If the two mezzalas go up, there are only two ways to play: a) deploy a destroyer like defensive midfielder with huge stamina capacity like makelele or b) tiki-taka with a technical sweeper ala rodri who has a lot of support around cause of progression yard by yard. Also Vlahovic can't play what you say, only like a wall like Giroud was at Arsenal, high up the field
Why do i have a hunch Hans is actually staying? I'm in a calm manner if Giuntoli's vision is based on realizing the whole football world is in a state of transition towards new generation of players. That way the approach will be particularly different from previous generation.

With the graphic you showed I could really see Miretti shining with motta ball. He was not perfect this season but you could see the vision, his attacking dribbles and shots from outside the box were exactly what we need. Pair him with Rabiot or Koopmeiners and we are back to winning ways.

@@Djohnny91 He is 20 years old. Also he has missed by a small amount many times whilst playing under Allegri whilst their relationship was not great. With Motta who is young and good with youth he can really grow into an amazing attacking midfielder.
Miretti looks like he’d greatly benefit from a loan.

I’m aware it’s common language for younger generations, that it’s not considered offensive, it’s a way of saying, they are paid millions so why not,… but to me it’s simply wrong. When people I don’t know speak like this I ignore. When people comment like this on social media or on other channels I ignore. But when long time subscribers, loyals and people I care a bit about behave like this on my channel I don’t like it.

With Rabiot I always have a feeling he just wants his pay and that’s it. Bonucci retired yesterday and he made mistakes, but that’s an example of a player who gave his all for the club. It's not about liking or not a player. I don't and never liked the player Alex Sandro for example. I have always been transparent about this. I wished we could have sell him long time ago. But I never disrespected him as a person. It turns out he showed more respect for the club than many others. Does that make him a better player in my eyes? No. But I'm proud I never insulted him because he didn't deserve it as a person.
You assume Rabiot is here for the money only. Ever had a conversation with him?

We`ve bought Dusan Vlahovic for Finisher , transforming him as a no 9 who can dribble etc would need more time to applied . Its not easy changing people`s habits . And personally I think that would be wasted of time since it will need around 3 - 4 years to develop new skills . So my biggest question is Why not drilling or getting some players who can give him more assist than before ? Inzaghi , Trezeguet can score many goals because they surrounded with literally world class passer right ?
Rule of Vlahovic... thats not a new things Allegri tried it many times and thats what he likes. Thats why he wanted Lukaku. Vlahovic cant play with his back and hold the ball under pressure to distribute it. Many first touch passes failed this season too. Maybe with Motta we shall have more players up front and thus less pressure on Vlaehen receiving the ball. But i see Vlahovic more upfront around thearea boarder there he can connect with other players as defenders will be more focused on him not shooting thus passing will be easier.

Beppe nobody is leaving for Calafiori otherwise we need to let go of Motta and Guintoli. 30mln is the asking price. Pay it. This is Juventus. 60+ mln i understands but 25-30mln...even Nottingham and Lille can pay that
We need to sign more players than just Calafiori. Saving 5M here and 5M there makes a world of difference.
@@GJustjuve Yes I understand of course but if we need to save 5mln on 30mln signing do you really think we will get Koopmeiners in midfield, RB, backup Striker etc? The project looks good but if it's true that Juve has 40mln before sales we can pack our bags because who aren't getting 100mln in sales and even if we do those sales will be good players, I can understand selling Soule and Huijsen but not Bremer and Vlahovic. We need 125mln to fully improve the squad btw.

@GJustjuve Yes of course. I just think that on the very first signing (Di Gregorio loan with obligation- smart deal) if we need to add players it gets very difficult for me to see us sign everyone we need which is a lot. But you are right I won't judge and make conclusions until September 1st.

Rabiot played one good game the second half of the season, partly due to injury. If his tax rate goes up, it seems like you’d have to pay him 50% more to keep him on the same net wages. Same situation with McKennie likely. That’s a problem with thinking in terms of net wages, as the club has no influence over tax laws. Those renewals are both uphill battles
Rabiot's salary is 7 million net. Normal tax is then also 7 million. A total of 14 million.
With tax credits, the tax is halved = 3.5 million. A total of 10.5 million.
A salary increase of 33% for Rabiot to earn the same amount net.
So his tax rate will double from 25% to 50%? That would be approximately 9.3 gross for 7M net at 25%. Why isn’t gross salary reported, what it costs the club?

According to James Horncastle from The Athletic, Rabiot's salary is €7M net, and in Italy, only 50% of the salary earned by foreign players is taxed, the other 50% is exempt, and the top tax rate in Italy is 43%, which means it is effectively 21.5% tax rate on the full salary.
Inter Milan as been the biggest club in Italy 🇮🇹 the last 5 years it makes me sick.
