@@Pyre it'd be a really cool callback to both Order-Sol and Kliff, plus it'd mean most of the OG cast are in Strive. I'm really hoping Strive gets remade with a better animated story as well as (hopefully) every past character in one game, in some way or another.
Considering that Strive is meant to be the last game focused on Sol's story, I so badly want Kliff and Justice in the game. Then we'd have the entire original roster in the game and I think that'd be really cool thematically.
This really does feel like a baiken and delilah song, the dog being baiken and the girl being delilah. "Still, she couldn't just stop walking even if feet has fall off a cliff, she just could not stop." and "The girl followed dogs just looking for warmth even if it does fall off a cliff" reminds me of when Delilah relentlessly followed baiken and Delilah looking for revenge being the warmth she needed. Another lyric "huddle up and take shelter from the rain, it was what the girl needed" reminds me of when Baiken said "We're going together, and we'll stay together. Night and day." and they should both give up their revenge together. Another lyric "For the first time the dog knew what she looked like in the girl's eyes" and "She hoped not to rain on the girl 'don't worry' " reminded me of when Baiken realised that Delilah was the mirror Anji was talking about. Lastly, the lyric; "The rain never stopped but when they looked up at the sky, they found, a break in the clouds" is like literally the scene where Delilah and Baiken are up in the sky and Baiken stops Delilah, finding a break and calming her down. It was also literally raining and they were in the sky too lol. But yeah, honestly I think this song was like a scrapped song for the credits in another story and was repurposed for dizzy because she kinda fit the lyrics too.
THIS IS EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS TOO!! I get people wanting to draw similarities to Dizzy and others, but really it makes so much sense for them For me, the biggest line is the "For the first time the dog knew what she looked like in the girl's eyes" THATS LITERALLY THEM. ITS THEM
Alright, so this season we ALREADY got - Absolute banger (Radiant dawn) - Amazing epic song (Get over nightmares) - And a chill nice song that we werent asked but was needed ( Shelter from the rain) Now we just need to wait for Venom release and ses will Daisuke drop another bangers
3:47 This might be a hot take but I'll say it: Imho, this lyric right here is one of, if not the single most beautiful and powerful lyric in the entire Strive soundtrack. The idea of someone that believes themselves to be horrible seeing their own reflection in the eyes of someone that genuinely loves and accepts them for who they are is simply too peak. This is not the only peak lyric in strive, no, but this specific one is on a league of its own.
@@memorableman3709 I absolutely agree, it's an incredible line. There's a running theme in Strive's OST about the discrepancy between self-image and outward identity, and I love how this line plays with that concept. It's like an inversion of Smell of the Game, which is about seeing yourself reflected as a monster, even though you know in your heart you're not.
I actually have a theory this song is about Delilah and baiken instead of dizzy and ky. The wolf is referred with she/her pronouns meaning the wolf has to be representing a girl character. In the final chorus the line “it was what the girl needed” refers kinda to in another story how nobody could stop Delilah’s magic until baiken had got to her. And the line “for the first time the dog knew what they looked, in the girl’s eyes” relates to the theme of baiken’s theme with how Delilah was a mirror of her world through baiken’s constant drive for revenge. Finally just a stray dog is a more fitting representation of baiken than ky as ky is a king he lives a very comfortable life while baiken wanders the world with no home and being represented as a wolf adds to her masculinity. This is a theory it’s kinda presumed that this song is about ky and dizzy since it plays in the credits of dizzy’s arcade mode and also we got 2 other tracks relating to the kiske family (radiant dawn, get over nightmares).
Considering that this plays after Dizzy's arcade, I'm willing to take the shot here and say this is about Dizzy's time with Testament. Radiant Dawn was about Dizzy and Ky primarily. Get Over Nightmares was mostly about Sin and Ky from what I could surmise, with obvious references to Dizzy. The idea of a lost little girl following around something more threatening and beast-like (how Testament likely viewed themself to some degree, correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a bit since I looked at the lore) and seeking out warmth, giving Testament purpose once more in being her guardian.
I THOUGH IT SAYS ''Duck'' ON EVERY DOG PART WHEN FIRST LISTING AND I THOUGH ''Did Daisuke really make Ugly Duckling into the coolest song ever'' Dog makes so much more sense...

Basically ppl from "worlds apart" find understanding, support and love thru their journeys tgt Which applies to so so many characters Delilah and Baiken, Dizzy and Test, Dizzy and Ky, ABA and Paracelsus, heck even Sol and Ky
From what I can surmise, this song might be about Baiken and Delilah, with Baiken being the Dog, and Delilah being the girl. Idk, something about it makes sense with the dog finding purpose in sheltering the girl rather than abandoning her after she learned how she looks in the girls’s eyes. Perchance
@@matmil5 I think it was a deliberate choice to make the song Not Specific, precisely so you can interpret it in multiple ways. IMO, it's about people being brought together by shared hardship, which applies to a lot of the cast.
Wasn't there a thing where Dizzy was visited by a blind girl in her forest, which eventually led to Guilty Gear X? Somehow this song reminds me of that
