It’s like a smoky unique masculine vanilla with spa vibes…I was at a spa on vacation and they were burning it omg I want it haha. Excited to smell all the new ones especially the Loyal to You bc I love lemon 🍋 💕💕

Okay but throw that BCR candle through the screen into my house right now. I am a fine frag lover to my marrow, so is my mother, and have lived through the grandest fragrance eras, 70's, 80's, 90's.. and have become a Niche fragrance woman now (the big brands have no longevity or trail anymore sadly) and I'll say two things: 1. in the 80s and early to mid 90's the fruit, powdery-sugary, and candy frags were so strong you could smell them all day after taking a single whiff. Including the scents on dolls, erasers and markers, chap stick and body powder. So if the companies wanted to they could pump up the fruit and candy scents without requiring heavy base notes. I don't mind dessert, coffees, herbs or fruits blended with other scents btw, but I also love a true edible type fragrance. No joke though even Love's Baby Soft was a powerhouse back in the day lol. 2. Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait is some kind of sorcery. I don't understand how anything is that magical, of all my ($$$) perfumes none get the compliments from pure strangers like that does, including at the doctors office! Lol people approach me furtively and apologizing for being "intrusive" to say they just have to know what fragrance I have on. I get the hype, and I could never fault anyone for loving it still. The first time I sprayed a bit on my mom she sniffed her arm and said "oh my god this makes me love myself". So if BBW really duped it this time, including in a candle, (none of the copycats have come close except the Vanilla Cloud candle and wallflower for me) I will be making a mess of my bank account at BBW because I'm not waiting for the sales lol I hope they made vats of these luxury dupes this t ime around, it seems there's a lot of excitement!
My 4ever Sweet candle was also scentless. Glad it wasn’t just me! It will be going back to the store. I’ve had enough of the scentless candles! Sweet heart Cherry was pretty good tho. Gotta get my hands on those EL single wicks.
It is so interesting that you couldn’t smell that grape candle. Bonnie said that when she burned hers, it was very strong. It’s unfortunate that there are such inconsistencies with the candles. I want to buy a candle and know that it’s going to be strong!
totally agree on the unscented candle disappointment.. picked up so many on candle day and ended up returning some too. they are too expensive to have no smell when burning! i dont buy for packaging!
I wish our stores would put our candles at 75% off…. Don’t need more lol but…put it in the bag, put it in the bag lol! They’ve held strong to the 50%off even on fragrances like Pumpkin Pecan Waffles. Kent, I'm appealing to you to do what you can to ask Goose Creek to come up with a South Florida themed candle line. Like Miami Beach, Wilton Manors (the gay mecca of Florida), and Fort Lauderdale. And maybe a sophisticated City of Miami candle. Totally sick of the Hawaiian and generic tropical themed candles. I've been waiting for Bath & Body Works to do such a line for years and it's never happened. Fingers crossed that it happens someday
I am so sick of everything BR540. And while I adore Sweetheart Cherry, BBW is overdoing the cherry scents too. But I’ve never stopped loving Strawberry Pound Cake. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of Iced Lemon Pound Cake either.

I smelled the 4ever sweet spray in store I loved it but I sprayed myself with the tester like 5 times and literally it didn't last even 5 minutes lol I might grab the body wash because I know I will use it so nostalgic I'm tired of the candles with zero throw as well!! I picked up the balsam and fir I think it was called there was absolutely zero throw I either got a dud or all of them were like that super disappointing
Thanks for explaining why the full gourmand scents fade away so quicky. I'm staying away from the Sweethearts collection because I don't even really like it. The latest SPC 3 wick smells better than past SPC candles IMO. I just wish the body care didn't give me a honey note on dry down!

That's funny. I'm still trying to figure out why cozy cashmere and together weather smell just like the ammonia note in Windex to me. I still weirdly kind of like them though cause they make the house smell extra clean. Such a bummer last time i was driving through Atlanta there was nothing testing and now we got the good shit 😩 admittedly the single wicks perform astoundingly well on a warmer. I guess how small they are makes them get extra hot and release tonssss of scent. Extremely strong honestly. But burning, yeah, pretty pointless. Im getting tired of the bacarat dupes. First sight and velvet amber woods was enough and they were incredibly light candles :/ I would love covered in roses in a 3-wick . That scent reminds me of the Rose and lychee candle. Rip

Today I burnt yankee candle “vanilla flurries” it was literally unscented

My single wick is strong enough to be a 3 wick, so it's crazy to hear the throw was bad for Kent...Hopefully it was a fluke!
