Yeah I think we’re at the point Jalen needs to come off the bench he just hasn’t been good at all if he not scoring then he basically a non factor on the court.
Jalen is non fixable this year this summer is make it or break it for him. Because Amen is starting to put it together while he been with the starters and Cam has been doing what he isn’t and that’s been getting buckets.
Not to mention we have Cam and Amen for four years on their rookie deal and Jalen only has a year left on his deal.
If he doesn’t get his act together I expect Jalen to be in a package along with I hate to say it with maybe Tari or Jabari in a trade package in Stone desperate attempt to get a start skipping the entire process of team building because he done an awful job with this roster

Jalen and Jabari are really not that good. Man all that losing we’ve done these past few years hasn’t really paid off. Tari, Cam, Alpi, Amen is the core imo.

First time listener. I agree with Mitty's starting 5. Putting Dillon and Adams together off the bench makes a lot of sense to me, and Cam over Jalen is a no brainer imo.

Jalen Green would be undervalued if he comes off the bench. His growth potential will be halted if he goes off the bench. It would be better if Jalen Green asked to be traded instead of coming off the bench and be undervalued.

I doubt the Rockets play Fred all that money to come off the bench. Amen needs more mentoring from Fred.
I said what I'd do. I could care less what Fred is making. He'll make the money regardless. The way to make Amen into a star is at PG. The quicker he's up to speed, the quicker you're ready to compete for a title. He can be a championship player at PG, not at another position

If Jalen Green comes off the bench then it would be better for him to ask the houston Rockets to trade him to a contending Team. Miami Heat would be great destination for Jalen Green, in Miami, Jalen can play either the starting point guard or the starting shooting guard. Jalen has a bright future ahead and he can be a star player in any Team that he goes to.

Ime needs to run a better offense and stop benching guys after slow starts. Bad shooting doesn't necessarily mean there is bad effort. Guys will never get better if you bench them consistently for mistakes. This happened with Silas and Sengun and now Ime is doing it with Green who will bench him, but plays Brooks and Fred when they're shooting bad. Start the young guys Amen, Jalen, Cam/Tari, Bari, and Sengun. Green has actually been the best player since January on the floor. Rockets need a coach that can develop young talent. Trading Green will be a mistake we regret. I'd rather move Fred or Brooks. They were brought here as place fillers anyway. This Coach Pop coaching is getting on my nerves. Pop was bailed out by benching Parker and Manu because he had Duncan and Robinson to cover for them. We don't have that and we're still losing these games when they let Holiday Tate and Jeff Green play over Jalen Sengun and Jabari. Let them make mistakes and grow. We act like rebuilds are fixed immediately.
Jalen Green was good for a week - not a month. Amen is the best player in Feb. Jalen doesn't have what it takes mentally to be a star. There's no Mamba in him
@RobertLandHoustonSportsTalk I don't think we need him to have Mamba in him, but this refusal to let players grow is weird. All the young teams who are doing well now have been rebuilding far longer than the Rockets and are now seeing the payoff for that. The Rockets and fans need to be patient. Let guys make their mistakes and grow. Trading away Green and Nets picks for a supposed "star" isn't a good trade off imo. And to be honest over the past three seasons collectively, Green has been the best player for the Rockets on most nights. I think this is Fertitta not wanting to dish out money for an extension and I also believe they are trying to tank again because bigs have been available on the market for weeks but Stone references Boban as an answer to backup center concerns. Seems really fishy.

I know fans get caught up in scoring but if you're terrible on defense & do nothing without the ball in your hand - and you're scoring inefficiently most nights, that's not a positive. It's losing basketball. Udoka lets guys make mistakes if he believes they're playing hard & doing the right things. OKC started their rebuild the year before the Rockets & they looked much better their 3rd season (last yr) & in year 4 they look like a title contender. The Rockets won't be that next yr. Memphis landed Ja at the 2 spot (same as Jalen) & they did a much faster turnaround. You can say I told you so if Jalen turns into a superstar but you & I disagree on his potential. Thx for the take

This is the building foundation or the Team, developing a young player takes patience and commiting mistakes and a bad shooting night is part of it. It is part of building the confidence of a young player to let him grow and reach his full potential just like Jalen Green. Everyone thinks ime would bench Jalen for his new 'lineup' , but who knows maybe he meant benching alpy and start with jeff and add holiday? He is keep underlining to reporters that how houston bench doing better than starters. He proved that before with his weird lineups and rotations. Even told reporters so many times how bad jalen plays he wont be benched. Amen is worth to invest type a guy , future all star imo. Lets see ime is smart enough to see that..

Off the subject, I was wondering who we could get from the Toronto Raptors for Knucklehead Dillon Brooks. Since he is Canadian, they might like to get as many national team members together as possible. It might create some chemistry for Toronto. Bruce Brown is the man we need from them. Bring in Bruce Brown.
Bro jalen is young, give the man time .. easy to say hard to do I know when you see all the talent in the nba, just give him time.
For me personally, this isn't about his physical gifts. I see intangibles he just doesn't possess to be an All-Star level player. I've followed the league for 45 yrs & there are plenty of physically talented players that didn't have the intangibles & never panned out. Maybe you're right & I"m wrong.
