Thank you so much. I knew how to stitch them together in photoshop but could never get the hang of focus stacking with the camera. This is just the video I was looking for. First class.
your video was great, I have a question, a friend said i can change the focus point on my 5D Mk IV and shoot an image, I don't understand how the expose would not be affected by this. By the way, I enjoyed how you kept your training simple.
Never seen the auto blend layers way done. Have been seeing people adding layers individually then dodge and burn after setting up from foreground, mid ground then background.
When you say you took 8 photos all across the focus area what exactly do you mean? I are you going left and right as well as front to back? I wish you had shown each of the 8 images with the exact point of focus shown on the image, or is it an area you were aiming at?
I think it's back to front, or front to back. The camera doesn't move, only the focus. I'd say there's a bit of experimentation/practice required with this sort of photography
Would not recommend anyone watching this video plenty better videos out there showing you how to do this I think you failed I this video mate you didn't show people enough info you shooting the images or nothing just don't recommend this video
Amazing and to the point, definitely what I was looking for. No lengthy stories and talks, just the process, well done.

Just watched this tutorial, If the sun was up I would be out there right now.

Did you say "rotate the zoom ring to get the next part of the frame in focus"? Should I use the focus ring or the zoom ring between each shot?
Focus. Zoom sounds like a verbal typo.
He said focus ring.
Why do we need such a fast shutter when the camera is on a tripod?
Great Thanks!
Looks great only the cattail beside the windmill looks funny, dont know if you edited that out after the video
Instead of using Adobe Bridge, is there a way to place all .jpg images all at once directly into Photoshop having all layers stacked? Thank you!
