Hi Rob & Joe. Joe as i'm looking at you your right hand side keeps popping in and out of vision. Not a complaint a view , Absolutely agree with rob ref some older anglers are unable to take a view from younger anglers i'm in my seventies and am still learning from all walks of fishing, I do coarse . and Carp, And would love a day with one of you two, Brilliant videos keep the info and chit chat coming. stay safe and take care, tight lines to you both,
Best one yet guys. A very levelled view, explained in a easy to listen to way. As for me. I totally agree that the presence before the camera is not an easy thing but incredibly important. And to pick up on one of Robs comments. I agree that not all older Anglers accept being informed by younger anglers , which to me is a shame. I am an older angler, but willingly accept information from an anglerr of any age that has proven themselves, as even at my age, I can still learn.
Great chat fellas...think its mybe a good point to mention what matrix has set up with the tackle shops..what a great way of keeping some money filtering to them in hard times.
Hi Guys Great vids, and to be fair I have not fished a match for well over 10yrs, I am a bit of a celebrity lol at my local Leicester water and I am always giving out tips and hints, and fish all year in all weathers, trouble is I have lost a lot of confidence and all my mates keep telling me anglers and non anglers that I should get back into it as they say I know my stuff, just need to know where to start once things get back to normal so may give it a go then I can get a new box and pole lol. Anyway stay safe and I think well be hitting the banks by the middle of may touch wood.
Hi guys, really enjoyed the conversation. It is very true that your personal fishing suffers if you do it for a living. Most tackle shop owners do not have the time to go.
It's a tricky one. I could definitely go more on matches, but I choose to spend time with my daughter and wife and try and balance fishing matches around that. It works for me
Keep them coming lads they are always helpful and informative. There will always be negative comments but sod em ,in my eyes you two are always helpful so thank you
Brilliant to hear your stories about growing up and getting where you are today you both deserve it through hard work just proves if you put your mind to it what can be achieved great job. I remember my first reel and that was a black prince then an Mitchell match great reel can't remember the rod. Bit more optimistic now on when we can go back on the bank from last week with Rob Hughes talk and now the resent article that came up yesterday great news can't see it for a few weeks yet though more promising. But love the channel keep them coming guy's stay safe.
Just found this video. I am retired so I watched just out of interest and enjoyed it nevertheless. I have one complaint though you pair have cost me a fortune in Freespirit and Preston gear. Did I need it, maybe not but I love using it so thanks guys.
This video is a bit different from the norm. But it is good in differnet ways for me. Positive feedback is a must. It takes time to do these video's for our information. So thanks guys.
Hi both you mentioned sponsored a little, I think if it was for all professional anglers being sponsored we would not be getting theses tips on fishing today. i am 70 in July ,have been fishing for a good while take care keep safe. oh and when I was a kid no one could go lake or canal fishing because of the close season...March till June anyway
Great subject to have a chat about guys, & what a great insight for anyone you wants to get into working in the sport also we have start our commercial fishing matches again over here in Perth Australia, it’s great to get out on the bank again & hopefully you lads will be back on the bank soon & keep the good work up guys 👍
It was one of the most interesting none action blogs with Rob on getting back to angling , very interesting but the 15 metres apart is a bit much but better than being sat at home , fished the lido at knarsborough as a lad .
Great to listen to you both and the inside look of how working in the industry is ... just one thing though Joe please sort the back ground everytime u move the screen goes funny with the background guessing u did it through zoom or an app like that ...
Great video as always guys, 👍👍 Quick question for Rob, I’ve got myself some of the middy sawn off feeders and I’m waiting to get out and use them, the concept of them defiantly attracted me then and seen your name attached to them as being behind the concept, any tips, tricks or do’s and don’t’s, best type of bait to use etc. Cheers lads
Great chat Joe and Rob. Love it! Joe, I didn't know you fished for Leeds Juniors. I did too ,between age of 11-15. Where are you originally from? I think your a bit older than me. I'm 37. Loving your Q&A with Des Shipp too. Really good! Keep it going guys! Cant wait to get back on the bank. Fingers crossed, will be soon!
@@fishonwithrobjoe2758 Knaresborough, nice place. I'm from Leeds. You must have fished a lot on Nidd, Swale, Wharfe & Ouse, like I did as a junior. Keep up the good work!
Another great video loving this format nice and relaxed full of info. When we can go fishing again will u lads have a pure pleasure session or will it have to be some work stuff. I fink u should both have a pleasure session with no camera just enjoying the fishing
Hi guys many thanks for your latest content , however Joe, is there any thing you can do regarding the mirage and shimmering of you against your back ground?
Great watching you both chat about our great sport and how passionate you both are, and straight to the point about certain things, keep it up 👍👍👍

I thought that rob hughes made and came across very well as to the current/future situation for my sport
I reckon we will see an increase in angling participation after the ban is lifted👍🏻
