Aye, glad to hear it after purchasing another Sapphire GPU (a Rx 580 pulse). Though, with my current and first VGA, a Sapphire R9 280 (NON X) Dual-X, there's a bit of a problem that is rather common among this Sapphire R9 200 Series: one of the two fans stops spinning, unless you manually set the fan speed to around 80% - but it's loud insane. Hope it won't occur with the 580
It's a German Amazon Affiliate link, but you can search for whatever I mentioned in the video and compare the prices that are relevant today :) Lots of things have changed during the past months, especially RX 580 prices.
Many publishers here on youtube like to post a lot of videos, but offer no assistance for questions beyond the video. Foreign has been great at both. I wish others would answer questions their videos may not answer.

Over two years later and your video is still useful! I'm here because I'm looking to refund my XFX black edition for a Nitro+ because I don't want any RMA headaches. :)
Glad this video helped you after all this time! The Nitro+ is one of the better coolers on the market still, especially now, when you can get these cards for less than 200 EUR.
Until last year i had an rx 580 and i can say that the memory clock can go beyond 2025-2050mhz.I managed to get it up to 2100mhz and something like 920-935mv(i can't remember the value).
While looking for an older RX 580 Radeon card I came across your video, you should make one about all 5600XT cards out there that would help a lot, just went with Sapphire 5600XT myself, can't wait.
Wow this video 3years ago.. but im gonna buy the graphic card today. Now i decide what gonna buyyy thank you for the video🥺 LOVE YA HERE LIKE FOR YOU. FROM MALAYSIA🇲🇾

I'm getting the FXF RX580 XXX tomorrow. Lowest price (300 Euros, miners have driven up the prices since this video was made) I could find and a well respected brand. Can't wait to test it!
@@foreignsgamingtech It didn't come in the mail today, but I just read a review saying it easily overclocks to 1440MHz, and still stays below 75 °C. The fans are loud though
i got the sapphire nitro 4gb. its awesome for this price. i can do everything in a game a 1080 could. i can run, crouch, jump, shoot, change weapons...sometimes even double jump.
I just bought the Sapphire Nitro+ Rx580 Special Edition for $215 at Newegg. The Boost clock is 1430 but the memory clock is 2100, not 2000. Should be a good performer.
I appreciate the effort that went into this, but I believe that it is 26 different cards you have compared, not 33. (You started the first card on row 8 of the spreadsheet). Other than that, thanks for creating this content.
Nice comparison, helped me to rule out some cards as my main concern is really temps and avoid the throttle, still have some doubts regarding the need for two power inputs (6+8) or just one for oc stability. Finding some good deals (~200€) for the msi gaming X, xfx gts and msi armor. Will wait out for the black friday as i think saphire will drop to that range also. Thanks.
Hey, thanks! The music is a snippet from my friend's remix of a track by Mindprobe called Professor Nutbutter (the original can be listened to here: ua-cam.com/video/kDmwpm5-4KA/v-deo.html).

The GTR seems like the best choice for you! If you really like the Nitro+ more than the others I'd recommend adding those 15€, but if not, then the GTR is pretty good too.

Nice helpful video even now !! I know this I am commenting 3 years late but I have choice between ASUS 8GB (Dual fan OC Edition) and Sapphire Nitro + (8GB dual fan, black ) for the same price which one will perform better , which one will last long , have more overclocking potential and which one will you recommend ? Thank in advance
Bought a used Nitro+ 8Gb for 150€ after selling my GTX 770 for 70€ hope the upgrade will be worth it. I will instantly buy a Navi 7nm Card if they release.
Hi! Good day! I just want to ask if which brand/manufacturer produce the most durable/high quality product? Coz' i can't decide which card i will choose. Thanks in advance!
Helpful video, but not helpful for me, because now all rx cards are out of stock or insanely expensive :( I bought all my parts for a PC build except a video card, I can not find a good video card below $250.
+Duh yeah, you can thank miners who buy cards in very large numbers. If you want a good ised card, you can look at the 780 ti for around $170-200, it's not *that* good, but will at least push 1080p gaming. Or you can just check your local second hand online community and wait for that one person who will be selling his 290/290x/970 for cheap
Bit late to the party but I have the Sapphire Rx580 Pulse Edition 8gb it's just perfect for my build and the Cooling is Very Good with even the Stock Curve... Alas the Nitro was just too fat width wise as my case is a Micro ATX... Now it might be the supposedly weaker of the Three Sapphires... It's actually not as even it went thru a Binning Process it's Sapphire and I love their Backplates... Still I Don't Suggest the Wattman Program they got with the Drivers, just the Normal Drivers... See I've used MSI Afterburner to make two profiles. Standard Gaming Profile 1: Under Volt -12mv and it still holds the 1366Mhz Core and 2000Mhz Memory... No power limits apart from the Undervolt and no change to the Thermal Limit. Standard Custom Fan Curve Max Temp 65c Under Full Load, Avg Temp 55c... Benchmark Used AC Odyssey High Settings 60FPS+ Though 60fps is plenty for me... As my Monitor is 60Hz... It's Very Stable and Kombustor Ran For 30 Mins no Issues. Extreme Test Profile 2: +18 Core Volt 1475Mhz Core 2100Mhz Memory. Power Limit 120%, Slightly Aggressive Custom Fan Curve, Thermal Limit Set to 80c Just to be careful... It Runs at 62c-65c on Avg and the Max was 70c so I think that's going to be all I can Squeeze out and Remain in that Safe Butter Zone 1500 might well be doable... Still It's Stable at this Overclock but I don't exactly use this for anything. I don't think I will put more than +20 on the Core Volt as I don't feel like Melting a GPU... If your Overclocking do it in increments to find your Butter Zone nuff said as I can only Vouch for my Card. So Yeah like in the Past Sapphire has Served me Quite well. So if you can get a Deal on Sapphire you will not be Disappointed… Unless your Mail Man is an Idiot or your Card is DOA, just RMA and they will take it Seriously.
@Shyvana_x3 uhh I'd wait for Navi and Ryzen 2.0 it's arrival is imminent, the Rx 580 is fine, but if the new cards are viable I'd wait on at least the GPU... Even if the hypothetical R5 3600x is better the 2600x is however a good all round processor at a great price... Just keep your options open. Best of Luck on your Build.
Today I got a sapphire nitro +. I swapped it for my Asus dual oc. What a difference man. Not so much in performance but it is sooooooooo much quieter and cooler. It's unreal. Also the Asus didn't rly have any connections to cool the vrms ???? Wtf ???
I finded out that in my country Sapphire Pulse 8GB (RX 580 1366MHZ) costs 200€ and XFX Black Edition (RX 580 1386 MHZ). I know XFX will be little bit faster than Sapphire Pulse, and how much the difference will be? Also I am looking at cooling too. Which one you recommend for me?
Hey ,nicely done video! I have a question.....is 4 gb really enough for gaming today? In my country i can get the Sapphire Nitro+ 580 4gb for 210 eu and the XFX 580 GTS XXX 8gb for 250 eu . I'm not gonna upgrade my GPU for a long time ( ~3 years ). With this in mind is the more VRam worth the extra money ? 1080p 75hz , I'm planning on playing pretty much everything from AAA titles to Esport games. What do you think ? Which one should i get? Also is the XFX 580 GTS XXX 's cooling solution sufficient enough? How does it compare to the Sapphire Nitro+ 580? Thanks in advance :)
Depending on where you are these prices are a bit optimistic, In some places the Gigabyte Aourus (8GB) starts from 324€. Asus Strix's common price: 350€ MSI gaming + X, 330€ etc...
+Urraco Jalpa hey, this video was made prior to the mining price hike, so the prices are quite outdated, yes, but they seem to be coming back into place!
Yes, they're are coming back but are not quite there. I just bought a nitro+ for 273€ , even if it's more than the original MRSP I consider it a kind of deal, since right now the same card it's at 335€ on Amazon.
New sub ;) great and helpful vid! im looking for a AMD RX 580 price/performance.. In my country those prices are impossible to find :/ but a bit off topic.. (the cheapest i found) (crossfire) 2 x RX 580 gigabyte 8GB, can out perform GTX 1070 and/or 1080? (or Gigabyte Radeon RX580 Aorus XTR 8GB? got similar prices near me)
Hey, I would avoid SLI or Crossfire in general! Two RX 580s in Crossfire will perform around the GTX 1080 level, but with tons of other problems, including noise, high power consumption and excessive heat. You can look around for an RX Vega 56, if you can - that would be the best choice if you're using Freesync. Otherwise, for $500/500€, a GTX 1080 would be the best choice.
I bought the XFX Black Edition one the other day after the dealer had told me that their Gigabyte ones were all faulty. He offered me the XFX for the same price (270€)
foreign's gaming tech Thanks! The problem I have now is that my pc is really old so I had to order a new PSU and a new case haha. Should arrive in the next couple of days and then I can finally use it. I hope the I7 and Ryzen processors are going to get a lot cheaper soon because I will buy a new CPU + Mobo + Ram after summer since my cpu now, which is the A8 5600k, is pretty shit..
+Domski Plays you can get an R5 and a B350 mobo for the price of an i7 and its performance won't be too far off! I'd recommend looking at the Ryzen 5 1600+B350 combo.
foreign's gaming tech do you think 50€ from 1600x to 1700 is worth it? (I will be doing recording, videoediting and gaming). 1600 is 220€ but I would definitely get the x for 20€ more
Well the 1700 is a bit faster, and if you are planning to stream+game, then it's definitely a better choice, but the value is still questionable. I'd avoid the X-models as those are basically the same as the non-X, only pre-overclocked a bit, so if you plan to manually overclock, you will reach that 3.9-4.0 GHz on either.
What about just Sapphire Pulse RX 580? I found a deal of around 190 euros in my country. If theres anything better of them, I'd like to know. Trying to get a good budget video card if theres a better one (no nitro or LE for sapphire) Currently have Sapphire Pulse RX 580 in my list.. I'm overall new to building pc's/parts
Congrats! The Strix is one of the best RX 580 coolers. The MSI Armor and ASUS Dual should be avoided at all costs on all cards above a 1050 Ti. They're cheap, but they're horribly loud and hot.
Deciding what rx 580 4GB I should pick Gigabyte Gaming or Sapphire Pulse I'm just concerned about the temperature since it's really hot in this tropical country.
Are you sure it fits in terms of thickness? Not really about how many slots the Strix 580 is. It will choke a bit though, especially on the two vents closer to the IO. For that case specifically I'd recommend a blower, but it will be loud AF :D
+AmazinArts well, the sapphire nitro+ limited edition has the highest sustained overclock out of the box, so it should be the "best" by around 3 fps :p all higher tier models are good enough i think!
i'd like to know more about xfx rx580 gts xxx edition, how are their power delivery, how much power they use, and what are the actual temps on full load... maybe in general about power usage on all 580 models??? thx btw those prices all look cheap nowadays, thx bitcoin!
Hey, I unfortunately don't have any of these cards on hand so I can't really test anything. You may want to search reviews of RX 580s on UA-cam, GamersNexus does great analyses of power delivery and stuff like that.
So I got a prebuilt with a XFX (what I'm guessing is the gts xxx) inside, but the details and description were for a "AMD Radeon RX 580 XTR 4 gb". putting me under the impression that it was the Arorus XTR card. Are these card different enough to warrant me returning it for the XTR?
Thanks for the reply! It was a CyberPower through Best Buy. I was just curious to hear what your opinion and compare and contrast on the two cards was. :)
Hey.Is it still worth it to buy a 580 now with the stuff about navi coming out?if yes, what else can you suggest except aorus and strix?they are both the same price in my country(rgb maybe).
The 580 is currently the go-to 1080p card. What other options do you have apart from Aorus and Strix? As the other commenter said, Navi is delayed to later this year. Most likely the launch won't be very big though, I expect the launch to be very soft, with very little availability during the first months.
Hey foreign, need some advice here. I'm gonna make a ryzen 1600 + b350 + g.skill flare x 2400 mhz (I will of course overclock to like 2933 if I can) + gtx 1080 pc soon and I have $1000 budget which I can push maybe to $1030. So I found an EVGA FTW GTX 1080 Refurb for $460, but also a Zotac Amp Extreme for $468. I don't know which to buy. I might be able to get some higher RAM if I go with the EVGA, but I don't think it will matter much. It's either 2400 or 2666 mhz RAM, and I will overclock it anyway. So which GTX 1080 to buy? I feel like the Amp Extreme is better looking and is more powerful. And the case I'm using can support almost a 400 mm gpu, so the Extreme will fit.
+SadnessMachine hey, thanks for hanging around, i recognize your name :D i'd definitely go with the amp extreme, especially if the evga ftw is an older model (which may still have those faulty caps). Try to find a support for your amp extreme though as it's seriously heavy!
Yeah. The FTW Gtx 1080 was a 3 star on the refurb reviews. I think it's a gamble. Some people were pissed as they had thermal throttling and EVGA was supposed to have REFURBISHED the card. Some of these reviews are as late as May. So I will go with the Amp Extreme. Ty for the help and I'm gonna always stick around.
Ryzen 5 2600 Rx580 8gb gigabyte 16gb 3000 geil RGB Gigabyte b450m 120GB SSD PATRIOT 1TB HDD 7200 550w rosewell Is it good ? Or do i need to change the gpu my pc build budget is 500-600 dollars
The Sapphire LE is most likely binned and tuned to run at higher clockspeeds. You can still manually OC the non-LE version to similar performance, but you'll have to be tweaking it manually.
@@foreignsgamingtech getting rid of the case is almost like getting rid of the engine in the car for me. I hate when i see people with their tech just laying on the ground begging for a house. And for upgrading, that's probably the thing i'll have to do. Or i'll buy the 1660 ti since they r smaller.
@@foreignsgamingtech well u said "try getting rid of the case if you can or maybe even upgrade it. Now if u mean like upgrading the case that i have rn idk how it can be done. And that's why i said "I'll probably upgrade it" yet i tought by upgrading u meant changing the pc case that i have rn.
The video card who i gonna buy it is xfx rx580 8gb xxx edition and it is the only one that u didn't talk about it in the video pls if u still a live answer me i bought it new only 169 euros is that's not expensive
Have you tested any of these? If $ was no object, I would go with a 1080. But for $20 on a $1200 build, I am ok with any of these. What I gather is that all of them are fine for 1080. How many are 4k ready? I like the Sapphire LE, but my son wants either the Aorus XTRA 8GB 580, Asus Top, or the XFX GTR-S. He wants RGB, but that rules out XFX. Which one do you think will OC the best?
+Rick Cash The ASUS should fit your needs very well I think. They're all great 1080p cards and can even handle some 1440p gaming. 4K is more of a struggle, but at medium settings you should be able to play most titles!
+Zac Farro you should look a what your software supports, openCL or CUDA. If it's CUDA then you're better off getting Nvidia. Otherwise AMD is good, the XFX card is definitely good.
looking at between the 580 armor or the nitro theres a price difference of 20$ for me; i wont be doing any hardcore gaming (FPS, etc.) So, should I save the money or just spend the extra bit? money not really an issue
Hello! What is the difference between OC and not OC? Does no OC mean you can't manually overclock? Or OC means the card is stuck in OC? Or something else entirely? Thanks!!!
Hey! The OC means that the card will have a little overclock out of the box. In case you aren't planning to overclock yourself, then the OC is a better choice, but I would recommend to get a cheaper non-OC version (if that's possible) and just OC manually :)
@@foreignsgamingtech thanks! But what do you mean when you say If I dont plan to overclock, then I should buy the overclocked version? I mean if I don plan to OC, then shouldnt I get the non OC? Sorry. Maybe something I just dont understand. Thanks for help!
Hey! If the version is pre-overclocked, then its core clock will be faster out of the box. In case you plan to overclock yourself in the Radeon Settings, then there's no point in buying the OC version as you will overclock it to the same level yourself.
@@foreignsgamingtech thanks! My next question is if I can cancel the overlock of the OC version using the msi afterburner. Is that possible? I mean turn OC version to like regular version? I know its easier to buy non oc version but sometimes the stores only have OC and it gets hard trying to find the specific parts I want.
Hey, in the video where you showed a picture of the auros and auros xtr, the auros non xtr is actually the one on the right. The card without the "x" shaped design on the right is the auros non xtr. There is a completely different design between the standard aorus and the xtr (aesthetics anyway, not sure about heatsink but thats probably different too) rather than simply oced or not. Sorry to be the one to point this out but you missed out the gigabyte gaming card. Would you still say the aorus non xtr is the best value, or something else?
+B hey, I pinned the comment thst pointed that out, but glad you pointed that out too! I would say just get a higher tier card on a deal. Not one single card has a higher value for the price, all are priced very equally, so a deal is your best bet.
Should i get the gigabyte gaming, or the sapphire nitro+? They are around the same price. The gaming version fits in well with my pc, but if the performance changes alot, i'll buy the sapphire. Thanks in advance.
+Thrilling Hazardous no, only the most "hardcore" ones have 8+6. Mostly it's 8. But even if it's 8+6 you can use a splitter from 8 to 8+6 - nothing bad will happen.
Hey i was thinking about buying radeon rx 580 sapphire nitro+ special edition 8gb vram. My question is will it work good with a i5-7400 8gb ram and 500 gb ssd?
It's a great cooler, no need to worry about temps or noise. The XTR version will have a higher power limit though, which is good for overclocking, but if you're running stock then it doesn't really matter.
Okay, I was curious if there were any particular outliers, like you having heard of certain models not being particularly good - iirc there was a talk that the Asus Strix 470s had some throttling issues for a while. I am considering preordering a 570 or 580 if a good offer comes.
+Boyan Penev basically with the 570s you can be sure the coolers are good on the Gaming X, Strix, HIS and Sapphire cards. Avoid the MSI Armor, ASUD Dual and any single fan cards. Can't go wrong with any other if it's the right price :)
I buyed mine strix top for 440$ now it cost 490$ in February AMD and Nvidia make prices even higher. I was lucky becouse buying any of better GK in Poland is almost impossible... damn mining and bitcoins..... rx 580 out of stock 1070, 1080 even TI out of stock even versions for 1000$ out of stock its madness...
What should i chose Sapphire Radeon RX 580 NITRO+ 8.0 GB for 251,26 € or Sapphire Radeon RX 580 Nitro+ Special Edition 8.0 GB for 264,62 € ? Should i spend extra money for SE or it's not worth?
ASUS Strix would probably be the quietest. The Sapphire Nitro+ too. If you want low noise I would recommend creating a custom fan profile to manage noise and temps.
@@foreignsgamingtech Thanks a lot for the recommendation! Can you tell me how to create custom fan profile? Where I am, Asus Strix second hand is about $200 at the moment - I will collect them only in a few months.
You can check out a video on my channel about creating a custom fan curve - I talk about how to do it with MSI Afterburner. It's pretty intuitive in general, but you can find tons more content on youtube :)
foreign's gaming tech I see. Thanks. reason I asked because I have the XFX RX 480 GTR with a boost clock of 1288, can only overclock it to 1360 at max voltage. While im seeing reports of the GTR Black Edition(1328) that could go 1400 or maybe higher even without the voltage maxed out. Maybe its the sillicon lottery. idk.
+Dale C with amd cards they are a bit important, especially if you're not overclocking. But for 400-series cards 1400 is a rarity, the BE cards from XFX may in fact be binned. The 500-series are much better in this regard and will reach 1500 on the highest tier models.
+foreign's gaming tech yeah i exaggerated there. I meant 1375 on the Black Edition ones. It's like they're releasing the bad ones first then the binned ones for later.
i am thinking of buying either Gigabyte Aorus 8GB Dual Fan, Asus 8GB OC Dual Fan or Sapphire Nitro+, what do you think which one is best in terms of cooling and then performance? thank you
foreign's gaming tech I ask that because the cheapest options in Argentina with the Gigabyte Gaming, and more expensive is the XFX. Then the others in Argentina are out of price
Hey, this video is a few years old now, and the prices have gone significantly down :) But it should still give a good indication of which card to choose based on its price!

Hope it won't occur with the 580
+Der Ritter it shouldn't be a problem with the new rx 580. Congrats on your purchase!
Always XFX for AMD! :D

Great video man!, hey who should be recommended for buy, sapphire nitro + or gigabyte aorus xtr?. this =) nice video
Thanks! Both those cards are really good in fact! I'm not sure you would see a substantial difference in performance, especially after manually overclocking. I do like how the Sapphire Nitro+ looks, but I say choose the one you think looks best or is cheaper :)

I'm getting the FXF RX580 XXX tomorrow. Lowest price (300 Euros, miners have driven up the prices since this video was made) I could find and a well respected brand. Can't wait to test it!
Great choice! Let me know what's the max OC that you'll get!
@@foreignsgamingtech It didn't come in the mail today, but I just read a review saying it easily overclocks to 1440MHz, and still stays below 75 °C. The fans are loud though
Hopefully it does all that! Make sure you get your case airflow properly set up too.
This video helped me to chose MSI Gaming X Plus. I thank you for that.
+Esfandiari Bhaktiari glad it helped!
excellent vid. Just what i've been looking for
Finally... I needed this! Thank you!
Glad it helped!
@@foreignsgamingtech Bro I need your advice
Thanks!! Been through tons of reviews advice, and you helped me make my decision. Red Devil Gs.
i got the sapphire nitro 4gb. its awesome for this price. i can do everything in a game a 1080 could. i can run, crouch, jump, shoot, change weapons...sometimes even double jump.
I just bought the Sapphire Nitro+ Rx580 Special Edition for $215 at Newegg. The Boost clock is 1430 but the memory clock is 2100, not 2000. Should be a good performer.
Sounds like a great deal, congrats!
@ 1:35 what a lovely sight
Miners be like: I see that view everyday, you have to pay twice the msrp if you want one
The Strix Oc has great cooling along with the Gigabyte Aurus for that reason I got the Nitro + 8GB
Great choice! The Nitro+ would be my personal choice.
I appreciate the effort that went into this, but I believe that it is 26 different cards you have compared, not 33. (You started the first card on row 8 of the spreadsheet). Other than that, thanks for creating this content.
Thanks for bringing that up!
Thanks.
Sapphire is one of the best, next would be Gaming X in my opinion. Black Friday deals are awesome, definitely wait for that!
Awesome videos! It's much too expensive in my country... I'd wait for prices to get lower to buy the 1050 ti or the RX570 though. :)
Extremely expensive here as well. Sad!
Thanks for the guide man, really helpful. Quick question, what is the song looping in the background? Cheers
Hey, thanks! The music is a snippet from my friend's remix of a track by Mindprobe called Professor Nutbutter (the original can be listened to here: ua-cam.com/video/kDmwpm5-4KA/v-deo.html).
thanks again, interesting song title lol... your friend should share his remix, I prefer it over the original as small a clip of his remix is..
Yeah, he's not very into sharing his music, unfortunately, though everyone who's listened to it says it's great :) Can't do it for him though!
First. It's confirmed 4n likes his own vids. Perfect upload time just came outta school.
If I don't like it, then who will? ;) Thanks for the support! :D

I appreciate it, thanks!
So will I alex lol.
I'm choosing between the nitro +(315euro), red devil (300euro), XFX GTS OC(295euro) and the XFX GTR (305euro), which one should I buy?Which card has the best cooler design for its price? I know the nitro + is the best one but its the most expensive one and considering my budget is 300euro I don't think I should get it if it isn't *that* much better.
The GTR seems like the best choice for you! If you really like the Nitro+ more than the others I'd recommend adding those 15€, but if not, then the GTR is pretty good too.
foreign's gaming tech Thanks a lot! I'll have to decide between the two in the next few days.

Red Devil here, all cards are good, but I bought the Red Devil, because of how bad ass it looks.
The design is pretty hardcore, I agree :P
This video is unique! Thank you!
Bought a used Nitro+ 8Gb for 150€ after selling my GTX 770 for 70€ hope the upgrade will be worth it.
I will instantly buy a Navi 7nm Card if they release.
At some point Navi will definitely be released! Not soon though, not even sure about this year. But you got a great deal on that 580, congrats!
I feel super lucky that I see the same cards for 140$ open boxed on Ebay and around 180 new
Yeah, the RX 580's have dropped significantly in price now. Hope you got a good deal on one :D
Thanks for this video man! It is what I needed.
Glad I could help!
The good ol' days of last may when video cards were actually affordable, how times have changed
Oh yeah, unfortunately it won't stabilize for quite some time now.
Hi! Good day! I just want to ask if which brand/manufacturer produce the most durable/high quality product? Coz' i can't decide which card i will choose. Thanks in advance!
+Armin Melocoton the Asus Strix and Sapphire Nitro+ are one of the top-tier coolers, check those out!
Duh
Wait for a month or two. Prices will come down
GamerShowsHardware no, they didn't come down.
Harsh prices are lower now
Nearly perfect now
Bit late to the party but I have the Sapphire Rx580 Pulse Edition 8gb it's just perfect for my build and the Cooling is Very Good with even the Stock Curve...
I have owned multiple Sapphire cards as well, all were very good. Congrats on your setup though, looks very decent!
@@foreignsgamingtech Thanks It's also Paired with a Ryzen 2600x and 16gbs DDR 3000mhz
Awesome build, congrats!
Thanks @@foreignsgamingtech
Wtf ???
Really bro ?
I finded out that in my country Sapphire Pulse 8GB (RX 580 1366MHZ) costs 200€ and XFX Black Edition (RX 580 1386 MHZ). I know XFX will be little bit faster than Sapphire Pulse, and how much the difference will be? Also I am looking at cooling too. Which one you recommend for me?
The XFX Black should be slightly better in terms of cooling. Performance-wise there's no difference.
Hey, thanks! For 1080p 4 GB is totally fine. You will be able to play most games at high settings for the next few years no problem.
+Urraco Jalpa i think that's a good deal, for Europe at least :)
New sub ;) great and helpful vid!
im looking for a AMD RX 580 price/performance..
In my country those prices are impossible to find :/ but a bit off topic.. (the cheapest i found)
(crossfire) 2 x RX 580 gigabyte 8GB, can out perform GTX 1070 and/or 1080?
(or Gigabyte Radeon RX580 Aorus XTR 8GB? got similar prices near me)
Hey, I would avoid SLI or Crossfire in general! Two RX 580s in Crossfire will perform around the GTX 1080 level, but with tons of other problems, including noise, high power consumption and excessive heat.
You can look around for an RX Vega 56, if you can - that would be the best choice if you're using Freesync. Otherwise, for $500/500€, a GTX 1080 would be the best choice.
And thanks for the kind words! :)
tyvm for answering so fast ;) ill do that! ^^
+ZOMBIE SOW good luck mate!
I got a XFX RX 580 GTS XXX Edition. How good is the cooling? I'm still waiting for it to arrive. Is it safe for an overclock?
Im guessing you already have tried it out but i have an xfx 580 too and it runs at 1420 no problems. Doesnt get too hot either.
Hey man, it's a great cooler! How is it living up?
I bought the XFX Black Edition one the other day after the dealer had told me that their Gigabyte ones were all faulty. He offered me the XFX for the same price (270€)
That's an amazing deal, congrats! I can find very few 580s where I live, unfortunately.
foreign's gaming tech Thanks!
Thanks man..I just ordered a rog strix 580 today to replace my armor 580 . The armor is very loud an throttles pretty bad under heavy load
Congrats! The Strix is one of the best RX 580 coolers. The MSI Armor and ASUS Dual should be avoided at all costs on all cards above a 1050 Ti. They're cheap, but they're horribly loud and hot.
The Gigabyte images at 3:50 are wrong - both are aorus.
Михаил Найденов hes stupid
Lol that’s cause that’s the product
Aorus is gigabytes line of gpus fucking idot
The xtr gigabyte is the same price of nitro + not the le I don’t know which one to choose
Choose which one you think looks better! Their thermal performance is fairly similar. I'd personally get the Nitro.
Thank you I actually bought the nitro 😄
Where do you even find the XTR Gigabyte?? I can’t find it anywhere!!!
What happen if my monitor doesnt support freesync?
Most modern monitors support one form of adaptive sync - what's your model?
Deciding what rx 580 4GB I should pick
Gigabyte Gaming or Sapphire Pulse
I'm just concerned about the temperature since it's really hot in this tropical country.
Both are very close, but the Sapphire card should be a bit cooler!
Planning a mini itx build in an H200. Do you think the ASUS Strix is too big? (I know it will fit, I’m just concerned about airflow)
Are you sure it fits in terms of thickness? Not really about how many slots the Strix 580 is. It will choke a bit though, especially on the two vents closer to the IO. For that case specifically I'd recommend a blower, but it will be loud AF :D
I just bought the Asus RX 580 OC, excited for it. So overall which card's performance do you think will be best putting thermals and price aside?
+AmazinArts well, the sapphire nitro+ limited edition has the highest sustained overclock out of the box, so it should be the "best" by around 3 fps :p all higher tier models are good enough i think!
Thanks for the reply! I appreciate the response. +1 Sub :)
+AmazinArts thanks, glad I could help!
i'd like to know more about xfx rx580 gts xxx edition, how are their power delivery, how much power they use, and what are the actual temps on full load... maybe in general about power usage on all 580 models??? thx
btw those prices all look cheap nowadays, thx bitcoin!
Hey, I unfortunately don't have any of these cards on hand so I can't really test anything. You may want to search reviews of RX 580s on UA-cam, GamersNexus does great analyses of power delivery and stuff like that.
Hi! Currently (in Hungary), the Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ is cheaper than the Aorus RX 580. The XFX RX 580 GTS XXX is the cheapest. Which should I buy?
Get the Nitro+! It's definitely the best of the bunch!
wait so should i buy the rx 580 sapphire pulse or the xfx xxx edition
im buying this next week so i need a quick answer! sorry for urgency
ALSO ITS THE pulse not the nitro please respond !!!
Saphire is best using saphire pulse
Sapphire is definitely one of the best, great choice!
That Really depends on the place you got it from! If you're persistent enough then yeah, it's possible, the XFX version doesn't sound that bad.
Navi got delayed up to October
+SadnessMachine a pleasure to have you, best of luck!

I'm just wondering is there a difference in the limited editions for both sapphire and xfx other than their fanciful light fans
The Sapphire LE is most likely binned and tuned to run at higher clockspeeds. You can still manually OC the non-LE version to similar performance, but you'll have to be tweaking it manually.
i have a good cpu, i have pci-E slot and i have the money but there is no room for the gpu in the case.
You can try getting rid of the case if you can - or maybe even upgrading it :)
I meant upgrading the case, not getting rid of it :) But it's just a suggestion - totally understandable if you don't want to.

Thanks.. I noticed the ASUS Top uses a 8 pin power, when some of the other OC'd cards use 8+6. Does this do anything?
+Rick Cash this allows the cards to pull more power from the power supply, but in reality you don't need more than a single 8-pin.
So, if they were all the same price, which would you get?
Out of the ones you mentioned I'd get the ASUS because I really like how it looks and it also has those fan headers for extra fans for your case.
What do you recommend for me saphire nitro or xfx or msi gaming x
which is best for temp and cooler ? I read some bad reviews of the AORUS NON XTR :( PLS answer :( TKs
Hey, the ASUS Strix and Sapphire Nitro+ are the best!
@@foreignsgamingtech still the best? :)) tks u for answering :D
Definitely still the best!
please//XFX GTS 8GB ? is that good ? help me.. i'm video editing and rendering thanks
Definitely get the Sapphire one. The Armor will be loud and hot even if you don't do hardcore gaming.
But what do you mean when you say
If I dont plan to overclock, then I should buy the overclocked version?
Not one single card has a higher value for the price, all are priced very equally, so a deal is your best bet.
foreign's gaming tech Ah i see didnt see the pin mb. It was a good, informative, in depth video tho, nice.
+B glad you enjoyed it, thanks! Hope it helped :)
foreign's gaming tech sub and a like for the effort :)
+B Really appreciate it!
Sir I should buy gigabyte rx 580 or sapphire pulse rx 580
Should i get the gigabyte gaming, or the sapphire nitro+?
They are around the same price.
The gaming version fits in well with my pc, but if the performance changes alot, i'll buy the sapphire.
Thanks in advance.
The Sapphire will definitely be cooler, quieter and will clock better! Check to see if it fits and definitely get that would be my recommendation.
@@foreignsgamingtech okay thank you :)
Rx 580 pulse is good (for me) cuz I don't have much money
Is the xfx still worth buying? I found the xxx for about 189 on Amazon rn.
It's still supposed to be pretty good, especially for that price!
quick questions does rx 580 need 8 + 6 pin connector i mean all of the brands of rx 580 need 8 + 6 pin connector?
+Thrilling Hazardous no, only the most "hardcore" ones have 8+6. Mostly it's 8. But even if it's 8+6 you can use a splitter from 8 to 8+6 - nothing bad will happen.
Hi, I wanna know about the heating issue about the XFX GTR-S RX 580 8GB!! Please reply!
Hey! What's the issue exactly?
Hey i was thinking about buying radeon rx 580 sapphire nitro+ special edition 8gb vram. My question is will it work good with a i5-7400 8gb ram and 500 gb ssd?
Hey, yeah, it will work perfectly, and good choice of GPU!
what you think about aorus non xtr version in terms of cooling and temps?
It's a great cooler, no need to worry about temps or noise. The XTR version will have a higher power limit though, which is good for overclocking, but if you're running stock then it doesn't really matter.
Hi, do you have plans to do something like that for the RX 570 cards?
+Boyan Penev hey, the RX 570s follow the same logic as the 580s!
Sir I should buy gigabyte rx 580 or sapphire pulse rx 580 please.reply sir???
Sapphire nitro+ from allibaba
SAPPHIRE or XFX?
Sapphire Nitro+ all the way!
+Wojciech Nowak you have a great card on hand though. I have a 580 too, pretty happy with it! Miners are likely to stay too, unfortunately.
Good video, but the RX 580 is overwhelmed since 2018 by the latest games.
Lol no it's not
The RX 580 can still handle most games at 1080p even in 2019, at over 60 FPS. Especially if you tweak the settings a bit (MSAA specifically).
What should i chose Sapphire Radeon RX 580 NITRO+ 8.0 GB for 251,26 €
or Sapphire Radeon RX 580 Nitro+ Special Edition 8.0 GB for 264,62 € ? Should i spend extra money for SE or it's not worth?
Hey, get the cheaper one! It's the same cooler, the more expensive version is slightly overclocked, but you will be able to do it manually for free :)
Ok, thank you bro!)
I found two used RX 580's for $80 I have the option between the MSI Armor OC and the XFX GTS XXX. Which one should I buy?
It's been two months since this comment (sorry dude!) but I'd get the XFX card, no contest :O The MSI Armor is a horrible cooler.
@@foreignsgamingtech It definitely helped me at least, thanks! Those two are being sold at the exact same price in my country.
Can you recommend me the first 3 RX580 8GB video cards only according to a single criterion - the quietest?
@@foreignsgamingtech I found it. Thank you very much!
Quick Question. Higher boost clock means higher chances for more overclocking headroom?
+Dale C Nope, highwe boost clock means just that - higher boost clock. Component quality, cooling and other factors matter for overclocking headroom
foreign's gaming tech I see. Thanks. reason I asked because I have the XFX RX 480 GTR with a boost clock of 1288, can only overclock it to 1360 at max voltage.
I found the RX 580 AORUS for only €190 on Amazon. (not even Black Friday)
Woah, that's an awesome deal, congrats!
wow you spent too much effort for that just earned another subscriber
Thanks for the support!
i am thinking of buying either Gigabyte Aorus 8GB Dual Fan, Asus 8GB OC Dual Fan or Sapphire Nitro+, what do you think which one is best in terms of cooling and then performance? thank you
Hey, out of those mentioned I'd recommend the Nitro+ first of all - best cooler design -> lowest temps and noise -> highest possible OC.
From the 8Gb dual fanned one's which one do you recommend except gigabyte xtr?
Nitro+ is the best out of those. The Gaming X is a close second!
foreign's gaming tech thank you for your honest answer i'm soon building my PC and i will definitely take Nitro+ after all, thank you!
Good luck with the build!
I bought the ASUS DUAL RX580 08G for 268€ on Amazon yesterday. :)
Wow, you got really lucky! Congrats!
Yes, huge luck.^^
Only twelve hours after buying the GPU cost 780€. That´s, what you normally pay for a 1080TI. xD
+Rocky712 - Let´s Plays yep, thanks to the miners!
Recommended the Asus Dual OC?
Hey, no, what other choices do you have?
foreign's gaming tech I ask that because the cheapest options in Argentina with the Gigabyte Gaming, and more expensive is the XFX. Then the others in Argentina are out of price
Get the Gigabyte Gaming! It's better than the Armor.
foreign's gaming tech thank you!
He doesn't mention the Armor though.
The prices are inaccurate i seen a rx580 8gb by gigabyte for 200
Hey, this video is a few years old now, and the prices have gone significantly down :) But it should still give a good indication of which card to choose based on its price!
Asus Radeon RX 580 dual OC 8 GB, MSI Radeon RX 580 armor 8 GB or MSI Radeon RX 580 Gaming X 8 GB?
+MuFaZo out of those Gaming X, most definitely. Better cooler -> quieter and cooler.
