- The legal team representing Retired Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye and his aide Hajji Obeid Lutale has demanded the immediate release of their clients by the Military Court. This follows yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling, which confirmed that it was unconstitutional to try civilians in military courts. The two were remanded by the Makindye-based Military Court Martial and face charges related to security, unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition, and treason. The legal team has also vowed not to appear before the General Court Martial on Monday next week.#NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition
