Israeli hostages reunite with families after release from Hamas captivity as part of ceasefire deal

Eight hostages − three Israelis and five Thai nationals − were returned to Israel on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025 after spending 482 days in Hamas captivity in Gaza. Their releases come as part of a continuing ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.
