My second SSFIV Combo Video. Editing and music choices are centered around the Capcom fighting game JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future, Also known as JoJo's Venture.
The final Dhalsim combo ended up inspiring me to make an entire video featuring only Dhalsim combos: • "Catastrophic Rebound"...

U2 after focus does NOT work. It's impossible to get that shit down. It's not even worth trying. =/
If you want to play vs people, combos are jsut a very small part of it. Doesn't matter that you know good combos if you can't land the first hit and be prepared to do the combo when doing so.

@smileymike101 Nope, he gets corrected if you hit him again. Dunno about anything other than that. Btw, it doesn't say it's processing anymore, and I seriously hope that isn't the case... Believe me when I say that the audio and video aren't supposed to be this low quality.
@thanatos7611 Counterhit s.MP to Ultra 1 works on everybody, the other combo works on Abel because of his extremely wide hitbox, but might work on other characters as well.
just buffer a 720 during something (For example, a dash, a green hand or on wake-up), then you hold up and press 3K as soon as you enter the pre-jump animation.

@ijimero You have to get a counterhit on the second hit, and getting it while using the move as a focus breaker makes the most sense.
@Pilgrimage85 Nah, the only hard part is the s.HP after forward kick. And the specific spacing to land the Ultra in the end.
@Rotarrius cancelled pre-jump frames to U2. only works after FA on certain characters. I buffered it during the FA animation.
@PumpkinHead223 landing a jump straight HP in the corner is not easy, no. But If you manage to do that, then it's piece of cake.

@JamztheHedgehog Basically, every move removes 10% damage from the next moxe, so 7 jabs = 30% damage on the next move etc.

Yes, a 720 is like the hardest thing to do on a keyboard, if you play grapplers you should really invest in a pad.

Do lvl.2 FA on Rufus, don't dash out of it, then just do instant air U2 when you recover.

Nah I Main in Akuma and Play with other Shotokans . :P . I don't switch to pad or Fight Stick For Shotokans cause When you learn the Keyboard your execution is way faster than the Fight sticks ... And I use Fight Stick too from 10+ years and Kaybord only from 2-3 years .. And kayboard is way fatser for Shotokans

I play on Keyboard and Mostly make the Circles while Jumping and for ultra while jumping or While Dashing .. it's hard on Keyboard . .. Maybe will just use the Gamepad

@DaDoppen And honestly I'm quiet okay with combos in fighting games (especially in SSF4 where the most part of them are quiet easy to throw out) but for some of them I just tald to myself 'what the fuck is that?'. For instance 1.49 with Fei Long. j.LP, s.MP, cr.MP, s.MP, Super...Seriously? I never ever know it was possible. Same thing at 5.06 with T-Hawk j.HP, s.HK, cr.LP, s.LP, s.MP....
They don't make you good because if you can't land a hit, how can you do these combos that you have been practicing? No good player is going to let you walk up and just do a combo on them. You need a sense of footsies, spacing and mind games. You have to know what your opponents wants to do and how to counter it. If you can read your opponent well enough with all of these factors than you just may find the right opportunity to do some of these combos that you have been practicing. hope it helps.
Take off some of the tags. I searched for Dee Jay combos and watched this whole video half-filled with combos that would NEVER happen outside training mode, and another quarter filled with combos that aren't very good at all and no Dee Jay whatsoever.
Very nice, I especially liked the Sakura combo wtf can you walk a little bit between links that's like a whole new WORLD IN THE GAME MAN you're one of the innovators like Daigo etc so this vid is officially classified as AWESOME!!!

@JamztheHedgehog Damage scaling. The longer a combo is, the more the damage from subsequent hits is reduced. It's why some combo's are useless in a real match but are great to watch and really showcase a players execution skill.

Are those Denjin Hadoukens perfectly "mashed"?
Could you even mash them back in early SSFIV? I don't remember. In any case mashing only affects travel speed, and these are all point blank or in situations where you want it to go as slow as possible. So no mashing.
Doopliss What? Doesn't it "speed up" charging?
Maybe it affects charge time as well, but I don't think so. It's not something I've had to test for combos, you generally charge it as the first move or during stun, and in those situations it doesn't really matter.
Doopliss Just looked it up, it does, you can basically use it in situations where, without churning, you couldn't get to a certain charge level in time to make sure it isn't blocked, to get it to that charge level. There are 5 levels of charge and churning adds a max of two levels of charge.

Ive tried so many times, I just fly right over their ass or it doesnt register I can buffer and all and I do jump and use the ultra as soon as I have lift off. So I honestly dont know what im doing wrong..

DaDoppen, I'm curious as to how you come up with these combos. Is there a process or do these unbelievable things just appear in your mind and you do them? I'm mad jealous.
Dhalsim combo at 5:47 certainly was a classic Jojo's tandem combo. Dhalsim's stand: catastrophe.

Some things I stumble upon by mistake.
Some things were other peoples ideas I developed further.
Some things are just based on me studying frame data.
Some things evolve when I try to reach a certain goal, like doing a 10% damage super with Dhalsim, which resulted in the final combo.
And some things just popped into my head, like the final part of the second Seth combo.
The final Dhalsim combo is a mix of all of the above, I developed the combos in my YOGA KNEE!!! video.

I found out a pretty cool combo with sakura,its like panic attack+EX shoryuken+panic attack+EX Tatsumaki+Air hadoken. .-.
