    00:00 - Intro
00:20 - Why We Moved To Argentina
    02:20 - Why We Left
🌎 Explore the highs and lows of living in Argentina as we share our journey of why we decided to leave the country before the one-year mark. Despite having legal residency and falling in love with the rich culture and mouthwatering cuisine, there were challenges that led us to make this tough decision.
🎵 In this video, we delve into two main reasons that initially drew us to Argentina: the cultural powerhouse it is in the Spanish-speaking world, boasting incredible music, art, and film, and the unmatched culinary experience with asado, empanadas, locro, and dulce de leche.
🍽️ Discover why Argentinian food captured our hearts as the best in the Western world and how easy it is to find delicious meals at any local spot. We spill the beans on our favorite dishes and why we believe Argentina stands out.
📉 However, it's essential to address the harsh realities we encountered, particularly related to hyperinflation. From demotivated workforces to the impact on the social fabric, we share our observations on how economic challenges affected our day-to-day experiences in Argentina.
👥 Join us as we discuss the unique social dynamics we encountered, including language barriers and the struggle to connect with the local community amidst economic difficulties.
💔 Ultimately, our decision to leave was driven by a desire for practicality and efficiency, values we hold dear. We present an honest and unfiltered view of Argentina, highlighting both the positives and negatives, to help others considering a similar journey.
👉 If you're contemplating a move or just curious about life in Argentina, this video provides valuable insights into the real experiences of living in this vibrant but complex country. Like, share, and subscribe for more candid discussions about life abroad!

Being a US expat of almost 20 years in Argentina.... I get you man. The insecurity here is UNBELIVEBLE, and beyond the imagination of most US citizens. The inflation is beyond the imagination of most US citizens!!! If the same thing was happening in the US, they would be certain that the world is coming to an end. After almost 20 years in Argentina, I'm looking at the possibility of moving back to the US, after decades of living through such uncertainty. BUT, it has become unbearable. The insecurity, the inflation, the CRAZY exchange rate.... I'm exhausted after 20 years of this.

Eh. I think Argentine culture is interesting and part of the reason why I've wanted to visit Argentina. But Spain and Mexico also have had great artists, musicians/bands, etc. In fact some of my favorite are from those 2 countries. Argentina is sort of the 3rd leg. I do like some of their films and series absolutely. Unfortunately because their Spanish is less diffused than Spanish from Mexico and Spain, most Spanish speakers are not used to these (and their media presence globally hasn't traditionally been huge compared to Mexico and Spain). They gotta work on their distribution.
In terms food, all subjective. I'm not a big meat eater, so I probably wouldn't find living there day to day very appealing. Mexico has a lot of the same foods Argentina has, just more diversity.
One thing that is on point is when he mentioned older Argentines are very cosmopolitan and highly educated--like any first world country. A lot of it a legacy of its wealthy past and focus on universal education early on. That created an educated society on a par with any developed nation. Unfortunately its these you often see that have moved abroad. Brain drain is an issue. Wherever they go though, you usually find them in professional positions and settings.

    Hi,
What you explained is interesting, as we discussed this with a friend in Finland yesterday. People complain about salary, as they have a job that they more or less can not get fired from, they have paid vacation, they have paid sick leave. "What is the point of improving things, because I do not benefit from it", " I'm not going to study this thing because the employer might benefit from it, and I do not get paid for my time more ...".
The thinking processes is upside down. You want to develop and do your job excellently, because you learn personally and increase your value. You become more independent and flexible. Do you think that I will give bonuses to people who do not actually want to grow personally ?
If you are a street sweeper and your streets are the best in the city, even though it is a cheep area, do you think it will not be noticed ? The value of the area will grow, they know who did it, and an other area will also want to improve and get better. The money is a positive side effect.
    Take pride in your work.
Finland is the tax champion in the world 56,5% tax, so yes it it is bugging me and others, that the state buys crappy fighter jets for 35 billion €, when the whole countries annual budget for education is 600 million. Or when they give away 8 billion € to southern Europe or 2 billion to foreign aid, or 10 billion to Greece, and pay for 100.000s migrants which cost billions.
It is a disgrace that the politicians behave like this, but the fact is, I will develop my skills, network and freedom. It is a question of attitude.

Interesting video, I myself have been to Argentina (just once back in 2005) and had an amazing time. I am from Vancouver Canada. But what i need to say is this the people of Argentina need to stop doing what they have always done in the past and take this Leap of faith and Vote in The Ancap Javier Milei ! Understand what an Ancap is! I left Canada now currently living as a resident in Mexico all due to the sick policy of the current Canadian government, Canada is heading in a direction that will be the same in time as current Argentina , Wokeness, Socialism on steroids! A whole bunch of other sick ideas are happening in basiclly all so called modern western lands. And my fear is even though people think they will end up voting for the other guy ( I am talking about Canada or even USA ) believing a change will take it back to better times, I just dont think that is going to happen. This current sickness it seems it has to run its course then the people will wake up (the sheep that have been blinded with brainwashing). Argentina give Javier I hope he isnt some plant from the WEF! But if he is the real deal wow! Think of this Bitcoin as legal tender , all the useless Government crap over! Go with it bring him in. of course if he turns out to be the real deal , yikes he might upset the world powers and they will take him out sadly. But I have been thinking if he gets in and does whta he says he does I will myself leave Mexico and get my ass down there asap and be apart of the new economy !
