Zach, it's literally funny as hell, you can blankly look at someone who asks what you do, and tell them you make loud, obnoxious noises for a living. I can't wait to be able to say the same.
One time in middle school they tested the fire alarms during breakfast and a fire drill was performed the next day. And to make it worse, it was cold they wouldn't even let us put our jackets on. And it was on a Friday too. They had true alerts in every classroom. They had to put covers on the ones in the gym. Which made them a lot quieter
On the last day of school 4 years ago. They were testing the fire alarm and it went off about 2 times. Actually, 1 year ago some thing was burning and they told them to pull the fire alarm and the fire was REAL! Jacksonville fire rescue department along with Duval County public schools police came. Bayview elementary had that simplex truealert like this one 4:40
The 9219 at 2:28 sounded like it was approaching death's door. Did you say they had TrueAlert horn strobes in the bathrooms?? RIP to the ears of anyone who happens to be doing their business in there when they go off.
I think that's common, in my region! I saw what looked like a Wheelock EHS horn/strobe at the Keene, New Hampshire Applebee's. Also a Wheelock AS at the 65 Square Subway restroom in Bellows Falls, Vermont and a SpectrAlert horn/strobe(original) in the Claremont, New Hampshire Walmart front restroom and a Wheelock AS horn/strobe in the back restroom of the same Walmart. And a Wheelock AS horn/strobe in the Springfield, Vermont Shaw's restroom.
Great video! Especially the -9219 horns 🙂. They are mechanical, but at least they sound good for the least. And are probably loud too haha 😄 That wasn't S.T.P. playing in the background, right? Random question btw
Can't you mount the Wheelock RSS correctly? Also the Simplex 4903-9219 in the reading area at 2:22 should be replaced by an L-Series in Code-3. If not they should replace it on December Break.
It Draws people out faster. The Noise will become evantually ear-raping and people will try to escape the building. This code is still Part of Today's New installments
@@MitchGaming381 oh, I live in Illinois, In Chicago tho. Almost every damn building here has systems on Continuous. Even the new ones , but with SpectrAlert P2R’s. All of my schools did too with the exception of the high school that actually had an GE EST3 Voice System., but that was a suburban school
@@armaniwilliams5752 As a person who also lives in Chicago, my old Elementry/Middle school had Spectralert Advances and my High school has Simplex Mechanical Horns, Remote Strobe TrueAlerts (I think a Horn Strobe TrueAlert in the main office), 4903s, and 1 Spectralert L-series and 1 Gray Edwards Intergrity Amber Horn Strobe as a CO alarm.
fire alarm freak97 my school had the same horn strobes the only difference was there were three separate buildings in one building the system was on continuous in the other one it was on March time never got to hear it in the third building
They really should ban these types of alarms in elementary schools. When I was in kindergarten, I was traumatized by a loud non stopping horn. They should put in more digital alarms that sound a siren and relay messages.
Well for one they're starting to require voice evac more frequently in Schools and such, but even though it may be 'traumatizing' it's doing it's job, and that's what's important.

2:21, Wow, sounds like that model of Fire alarm horn/strobe is either sick or not sounding too healthy, honestly :-).
The 4903s and truealerts are usually around the same decibels. Their just alot lower tone than the truealerts that's why they sound quieter

God I miss these. My elementary school had them before they renovated and destroyed my childhood. X)
It did code 6 because it started syncing up with the other horn strobes
Was there a security alarm going off at one point in the video?
The 9219 at 2:28 sounded like it was approaching death's door. Did you say they had TrueAlert horn strobes in the bathrooms?? RIP to the ears of anyone who happens to be doing their business in there when they go off.
literally what my school district’s fire alarm systems used to be (except there were no truelalerts)
Horn strobes in the bathroom... Those poor kids!
Yikes! Atleast they weren't Spectralert Advances.

They might be only in the truealert section
im guessing the panel for the locked hallway was different from the whole building ans since it did the "code 6" it was a simplex 4100U or ES
Looks and sounds like my middle school. Just not set on code 3. Nice video!
Whats that thing going off at 2:33?
1:01 Fire Alarm Fail!
They had only one job😂
that’s exactly what my school fire alarm sounds
Great video! Especially the -9219 horns 🙂. They are mechanical, but at least they sound good for the least.
And are probably loud too haha 😄

+Zachary Fleck Haha, okay. It had the same kind of beat like that band, so I just wanted to check 😉. They're a good band too
They are not loud
whoa, more 4903 horns on continuous
Why does the school have diffrent alarms?
9219's in continuous and TrueAlerts in code 3? Reminds me of my high school. All it's missing is GX-90S's in the classrooms.
Note to DerpyFireAlarms they're not in the bathroom at 1:07

That’s a healthy sounding system.
How do you put up fire alarms on the wall is it hard how do you hook it to a pull station & panel?
A lot of times the wiring is done by electricians.
Thanks
Thanks
Nice that was loud keep up to good work dude
Great video 😀👍👍
Sounds like a bad sync module
Zachary Fleck Ahhh, that’s why. Thanks
First, old Simplex 4903s, then, the TrueAlerts
"That don't smell good" ? at 5:20 LOL (synaesthesia?)
Hi,I would like to know why there are less and less 4002 systems that do march time?4002 systems that do continuous seems popular.
My high school has a Siemens system
Awesome!!! Really cool system!!
1:35 Newer Section
My school has spectralert classic and system sensor L Series
Nice! Also what are installers obsession with setting stuff to continuous?
It Draws people out faster. The Noise will become evantually ear-raping and people will try to escape the building. This code is still Part of Today's New installments
It is fucking annoying that is what is

Last time i heard a 4002 it was in 120 bpm

That’s a nice system and a great video!
Nice!
The 9219's, when were they manufactured?
1994-1998
wait what how is it a 4002
School has music? Lucky!
that's a nice ge clock in the thumbnail
You can kinda hear the truealerts glitch
2:47 Simplex Transformation Has Begun...
TrueAlerts still suck
BLACKHAWKSVISION truealerts are the system at my school. I hate them! They are even in storage closets!
No Sound. Can you hear it?
Sound works for me..
that should be replaced with a 4010 or a 4100U and even a 4100ES
My elementary school had the second alarms heard (the truealerts)
Desert mountain elementary?
My school has 9838s
fire alarm freak97 my school had the same horn strobes the only difference was there were three separate buildings in one building the system was on continuous in the other one it was on March time never got to hear it in the third building
I took that picture of my own collection
I like these systems
At 1:02 that RSS is mounted sideways. LOL.
so did you end up replacing it or making it on the side its supposed to be on
I saw as well
I just a got a new true alert
The Simplex TrueAlerts in the Cafeteria are on Continuous. Continuous TrueAlerts should just be in Middle Schools Instead.
2:34 Siren
What even was that? 4:44
'Code 6' apparently
coooool!
1:01 A Wheelock RSS
But it's mounted sideways
Fire alarm fail
2:365 that fire alarm on the right needs to replace!

i dont want to see the floor i want to see the alarms in the building i would NEVER record the floor like that
That's fine, I would've lost my job if I showed anything that revealed where I was filming so.. Sorry.
9219s out of sync along with 9137s
.
This horn does sound like a Siemens unh
