Yeah, you know how much I've been hyping this one. Looove it! It's so rare to get unique, unusual aquatics. I get so easily bored of citrusy freshies passing for "aquatic". I want to smell the SEA, not a margarita, lol. In all seriousness, I wish we had more unique aquatics like Wajood, Tom Ford's Oud Minerale with its oddball wet concrete note, Zoologist's Squid with its inky, smoky dark ambery oceanic vibe and Micheal Malul's Ocean Noir (the OG) with its oddball coconut note that's like sipping a colada through stormy ride out in the open sea with its piquant salty tinge. Great review, PC! 👍
@@TrephineArtist I'd be curious to see if @PostCologne has smelt them but on my side I've only smelt the EDP and it's very different from this, much fresher, more citric (leathery, I guess?). Wajood shouldn't really be considered an aquatic, more like oceanic in the sense that it's earthier, inkier and darker, so much denser and Middle-Eastern in vibe. edit: I meant animalic, not citric. My nose is not good with leather notes lol.
@@sorv5790 Thanks for the info. The Kenzo EDT Intense and the EDT Marine are fresher than the EDP (and less leathery) so it sounds like Wajood is very different from them too! Cheers 🙂
bought a sample of this and tharwah. i prefer tharwah. wajood is unique and strong, but headache inducing for me. tharwah is more your typical shower gel vibe.
Thanks for all your videos. I do appreciate that you take the effort to translate the names where you can. As someone who understands them, it's nice to see others getting the benefit of that context too.
You also reviewed Maison Alhambra Megara, which based on the name is definitely clone of Megamare. How does Wajood stand compared to Megara? Which one is better?
🚨💪🏾🤘🏾🔥 Definitely plan on picking this up I appreciate you and I can use a unique aquatic in my collection for sure especially here in Illinois next to Lake Michigan
Hello bro, Great review indeed, Thumbs up🙌🏼👍👍 . Thx to your review, Have ordered mine the other day and got it today ,it is really awesome, thx to your channel✨️✨️✨️. Wishing you a wonderful day. cheers from Stockholm 🇸🇪🙌🏼
Finally some worthy aquatic from Lattafa that I can bag for summer! So excited to get this! Great cover and overview as always! Do you get any similarities off this? It is similar to any of the Bvlgari Aqva line?
@@shishirpaunikar6163 Yeah, to add to PC's answer, the OG Aqua would be a better comparison point, greener, more algae-dominant but even then not quite so, Wajood is much more "Middle-Eastern" in its nature, you can make out that signature oriental tinge even though it's an aquatic. I'd say a much closer comparison would be Tom Ford's Oud Minerale. Some will say Megamare but MM is much more floral and "pungent", Wajood is deeper and richer, with a "wet clay" kind of vibe. Hope that helps! :)
@@sorv5790 That's a very comprehensive sketch and it gives me a good idea, helps a lot, thank you so much! I guess this makes me skeptical of a full buy at €55, but I am still interested because of those marine notes, I guess I will try and sample it if I can.
@@shishirpaunikar6163 Yeah, that's slightly steep compared to what I'd pay here (unless it's gone up now?) but if you see it discounted, it's highly worth it. Glad to help! :)
Just got it today and the scent cloud in the air is amazing.!! It can be off putting if you smell it up close other than that great fragrance, beast mode too!
i have both. very different. wajood more powdery, musky & spicy. megara less musky and more creamy & a bit sweet hehe. megara very close to Paris corner chaos in the ocean
Actually it doesn't remind me a fragrance.... It's something between ink and car polish product, one of worst parfums ever created Why do i have to smell like a bicycle's chain just to be different ?

Sorv I always love your analogies and descriptions :) Appreciate these comments. Thanks for watching 👍
Excuse me sir are you talking seriously that you get smell of sea? I get smell of an old typewriter ,no sea smell at all
This sounds like it might be similar to the recent Pour Homme trio from Kenzo ; EDT Intense, EDP and Marine EDT, is that right?

I only have the marine from Bvlgari. This one is much greener, less sweet.

Lataffa Atlas the new one
I had to repair my cap. It arrived broken. Easy fix. As for the aquatic aspect, I’m having a hard time picking up on that. Could it be the spices?
Get your hands on that Jean lowe immortal and thank me later Playa moreover great work keep it coming 💪
I think what is similar to Boss Bottled Pacific, what do you think, please?
Anyone compared this to Lataffa Atlas? Would you say this is redundant if one already owns Atlas?
Sounds like this must be a clone for Oud Minerale.
Top Show !
Suggest a perfume very similar to Creed's original Vetiver or a clone of it
Probably mugler cologne
