at least that's 10 times the pouch that the other importers give you. I tried to SOS knives. one constantly failed and the other one had such a bad twang. I sent them back. ended up getting a cobra tech lightweight with the D2 steel for $80. oh well. I did two videos comparing an SOS to a lightning size-wise
@@CaptDavesSportfishing Howdy CaptDave. I think I watched your vids. I was thinking that you liked the sos but maybe you were redoing the edge grind. Maybe I’m not remembering. 🙂 I did have a problem deploying my sos all the sudden. There was a tiny dent at the lip of the opening where the blade comes out. Just enough to stop the blade with only an inch sticking out. Never dropped it. It was weird. Filed the lip to fix it. I’ve been eyeballing a couple cobratechs with the hidden releases.
Mr. Fett over the holidays my cousin showed me his Kershaw OTF with a magna cut blade. I never seen one before and didn't know they existed. I showed him my Buck 256 Decanter just like yours and he really liked it. I also showed him my Leatherman Arc, he was fascinated by it. I used to be a big, dedicated knife guy from when I was really young up until my early 20's. I bought my first Leatherman Kick multitool and that was it for me, lol!😄
I think I have seen some kershaw otfs here lately that I didn’t know about and some Boker too. My first otf was back in middle school. From an ad in the back of a magazine. Could only be shipped in a kit to assemble yourself. :) Wish I still had it. I am liking my Buck. Very nice for $30. I’ve only had 2 real multitools. The Gerber is pretty much retired. Put away in drawer. I’m all goat now. I’ve always loved knives. The most important tool ever invented. :) I still have my very first knife grandpa gave me when I was about 8ish years old. Lone Ranger slipjoint. And several others that were my grandpas. And one that I think was my great grandpas. Opinel has been my top favorite for a long time but the nightshades have kinda taken over. 🙂
I’ve seen your microtech. It is definitely badass. I have a few D2 knives. Seems totally ok to me. The blade shape and grind and price got me. I couldn’t resist any longer. :)
@GlockNinja Hey GN. In the description I linked Doodys Daggers after torture vid. In his description I think he links the torture test vid. 😁if no find let me know I’ll get it for you.
Maybe? Someone on one of my Faceballs groups scooped up a few blems but the instructions for finding them were vague. I don't know if you gotta know the guy or what.
Last text I meant “blem sales” not “been sales”:) Well now it sounds like I might know a guy that knows a guy that might know a guy. 🤔😁 I might want a couple particular ones to do a blade swap mod thingy. Maybe:)
Nice, glad ya got one!
Dood!
Me2. Thanks for showing it and doing the torture testing. I think I love it. 😁
I like how it has SOS in morse code on the side, that's a cool little detail man
Yep me too🙂
Super rad OTF. I’m also digging the Boba Fett custom colors on the other one.
Thanks Daniel! 🙂👍🏼

Man, that looks like a big boy! I'm definitely picking one up brother!
Not really all that big. A little wider/taller than some. Blade 3inches. :)
I’ll be looking forward to your vid if you do get one.
O hey just in case you didn’t watch till the end, I tell how I got it for $84 instead of $99.

I don’t mind budget OTFs. They’re just fun 🤩
👍🏼 From what I’m hearing, it’s comparable to the hi dollar ones. I don’t have any hi dollar one to compare it to. 😁
Awesome blade bro 👍 enjoyed the vid
Thanks buddy. It’s fun and actually usable.
I have a Microtech and the steel is m390. D2 is not my favorite steel but it's definitely better than getting some cheap stainless steel.

@@andrewfett142 can you link me the video you saw of this knife going through the torture test?

Seems nice enough. I'm planning on checking out a Lightning OTF at some point here. I just gotta remember it when I'm about to buy something.
Yep. Been wanting a lightning too.
I know there's supposed to be a way to pick blems up for like 20 clams but I haven't figured out how yet.
I think maybe you have to wait for dealers to have been sales.
