I have long noticed that Lyndsay is not the fleetest of foot. She is a towering young woman and can be targeted, but her size makes that not always practicable. She however has a good imagination and 360 degrees presence of mind as to what is going on. The opposition realise that is where the attacks are going to flow from and they need to nip them in the bud. I would particularly bring to attention of everybody, the tackle indeed "assault" of Raffaelle, late in the day. Go back and see it again. It was not accidental. She led with her left arm and hand and struck Lyndsay in the neck, jolting her head back. Then an attempt was made to go for the ball. It was potentially worthy of a Red Card. It completely knocked the wind out of Lyndsay and she took some time to come to her feet.

People bashing Horan don’t understand anything about the game. She might lose some balls - who doesn’t - but she intercepts a lot of them as well. These people will only give credits to goal scorers, taking them like Marvel caracters giving a show but they don’t get the basics of what a collective sport is about. Horan is a tactical mastermind, her volume of play in the midfield is insane and that team wouldn’t be the same without her. She is the backbone of the USWNT, like it or not. Only this year, she won CONCACAF Gold Cup, SheBelieves Cup, D1 and now the Olympics. Also she won everything that is possible to win on the highest level during her career, adding to the previous mentions, the NWSL, the World Cup and the Champions league. People critising her doesn’t deserve to have her in this team or to support the USWNT in general. Also they are living proof of Lindsey words when she declared that « US soccer fans are not smart »…
That’s all true, but even as a fan of her, I have to admit she didn’t have her best tournament. In the end it didn’t matter. My assessment of the team was the midfield collectively were the least dominant group. Girma and Naeher were studs. The front three were relentless.
This team will be 🔥 in less than 6 months, remember theres is Bethune, the 16 year old in Ajax, Shaw, Moultrie a central defender playing at PSG (tough like stone).
Do you know Emma Hayes already has been the highest pay woman football coach on the planet? If I’m not mistaken, her salary and benefits could have been as much as 2 millions a year! That’s the contract for 4 years. No doubt it’ll increase when renewing! I’m for it!!! GT USA!!! 🌹💖⚽️🇺🇸👍

You really are so lucky and blessed to have her, was gutted when she left England, but what is our loss, is your gain. I hope she wins many 🏆 🏆 🏆 with you. Love her! 🏴 🇺🇸
Well done USWNT 🏅
@@rachelhyde9989 Beautifully said and trust me, we are so grateful ❤️ She has brought back the joy we have been missing and a perspective I’m not sure we’ve ever had. I have zero doubt she will do amazing things for this team and US women’s football as a whole. ❤️⚽️🏟️🥅🥇
Emma is a phenomenal coach wow- an incredible balance of structure/authority/leadership with nurture, love, joy. She's the best of the best.
This team will be 🔥 in less than 6 months, remember theres is Bethune, the 16 year old in Ajax, Shaw, Moultrie a central defender playing at PSG (tough like stone).
I'm more excited about what Lily Yohannes can do with the USWNT if and when she comes on board.
@@justtester_9962 She is the calm type, will be a good replacement for Horan's position.
RAISE HER PAY!!!!!
RAISE HER PAY!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you know Emma Hayes already has been the highest pay woman football coach on the planet? If I’m not mistaken, her salary and benefits could have been as much as 2 millions a year! That’s the contract for 4 years. No doubt it’ll increase when renewing! I’m for it!!!
GT USA!!! 🌹💖⚽️🇺🇸👍
Much respect for Lindsay! ❤ thanks Emma!
Horan dominates midfield when the other team has the ball ,she plays from box to box controlling so much.
Love the way Emma even took control at end of interview! Thats enough Me and Lindsay need to get back n party and enjoy the moment with the whole team....we off! 😂❤
Where can I watch the women’s soccer gold medal ceremony , any one please tell me, NBC didn’t broadcast on peacock, very disappointing maybe I will cancel the subscription if’s not broadcasting the ceremony for the American women’s soccer fans 😤
bbc i think
Telemundo televised it. NBC with a major failure.
If you have HBOmax you can see the full medal ceremony at the end of the match reply
I'm just really happy for Emma, the coaching staff, and the players, especially. Not ready to anoint them as the top team in the world, but this was a heck of a first step. Really excited for the future. You just feel like they're in really good hands with Emma at the helm.
Yes she is more American! No American coach will let Rose Lavel on the bench and start a 20 years old Albert!Perfect assist to Mal's Goal! Her Goal against Australia was Gold because They avoided Spain!!!
I've watched videos of Albert in college and her matches playing for PSG in the UEFA champions league. She is too versatile, intelligent and can be ruthless when required. I wasn't surprised when Emma said she's one player she can't afford not to have on the team.
Emma Hayes is a class act and great coach.
Well done!
Naomi the best defender in the world. 👍🏽
Emily Fox second best? She played a strong match.
Congratulations team usa women's soccer team
I love both Lindsey and Emma so so so much
How can you not love Emma? Can’t wait to see what’s ahead! 🇺🇸⚽️🇺🇸

Wow, Wow,Wow!! Im still crying with Joy😂❤❤❤
Horan ? A true leader. Smart with common sense. And the greatest smile with dimples
In Emma We Trust ❤
Congrats Lindsay. To bad the player who hit you in extra time didn't get a red card. Intentional foul.
Emma Hayes is a proper leader and coach. Excited for the next chapter for USWNT!
Congrats USA women soccer team. You girls did a great at the Olympics Paris 2024!
The contrast between this gold, coach, captain, and team spirit and those of the US Women’s Basketball 2024 Olympic team is stark.
Emma Hayes is the GOAT. Worth every penny. So proud of this team 🇺🇸
Emma probably started Korbin for the full 90 so there won't be any boos heard in the crowd subbing off or subbing on and also to validate Korbin's spot on the roster.
Dang, this is the best post game I’ve seen. ❤
Emma respects this country
